1.) Important issues with the Level (why they are important)

  1. Not clear that it’s supposed to be a monochrome city, as there aren’t any of the main features of a city. This is important because if the main idea of a creator is to centre a city theme it should be clear from the start.
  2. The blocks/overall theme of the level seems really unorganised and messy because most of the blocks use a different block design which also is blinking which gives off the effect of messiness, even if its intended. It also is, in my opinion, too much to look at as you can’t focus on any details really.

2.) How to solve the issue (specific solutions)

I’m going to solve both issues at once, as they are kinda related to each other.
Firstly, I would remove some of the blinking or change it to be less distracting, giving the city more of a „cleaner, more modern“ look. I also would change the structures which overflow to each other, do that they are separated from another to display that it’s supposed to be a city. In addition, I wouldn’t use that many different blocks/block designs and give them a more unionised look, to further help with displaying a city. Personally, I would also try to use a more unionised and simple spine design because I don’t think it really fits that well into the level. (Personal preference)
