The creator aimed for a monochrome theme, which was mostly achieved, but in my opinion, the pulsing color changes between objects disrupt the overall monotone effect. Reducing the intensity or frequency of these color pulses would improve the level significantly.
The first jump transition feels awkward. Normally, transitions between game modes are smoother, but in this case, the Cube jump has a slight delay after landing, which could affect the player’s timing. I would suggest adjusting the transition so that the delay is either short enough to maintain momentum or long enough for the player to react properly.
The level feels somewhat empty and under-decorated. Since the creator described it as a “city level,” it would make sense for the design to feel more populated and match the theme better.
Problems 1 and 3 are somewhat related, as adding decorations could also help balance out the color changes.
Problem 2, the jump transition, is the most important issue to fix. The other two problems could be resolved quickly, in under 15 minutes if done efficiently. Fixing the transition is critical because a poorly timed jump could frustrate the player and disrupt the flow of the level.
