Gameplay is pretty fun, and I like the ideas here. A couple points of feedback I have:

  • could use some color variation since the entire level is the same pink color
  • certain sections like the start could use a background, they feel very empty especially since the gameplay is pretty slow and uneventful at that point
  • block design could use some detail especially with the very big blocks that you have

  1. I’ve can’t really think of a color that looked like pink/purple without it being completely different/contrasts the pink color

  2. Would this background design (shown in the video) remove or at least reduce that feeling of emptiness?

  3. I known that this is an issue but I can’t really think of anything to put there, would you recommend something?

  1. even if you want to keep each section monochromatic, you could make another section blue or green or smth just so its not a whole minute of the same color
  2. it definitely helps yes
  3. i would spend some time experimenting with the objects in the last few tabs to put inside them even as highlights.

generally one thing you can try is looking at rated/featured levels and seeing the kind of decoration strategies that they use

I’ve updated the level with your advice; however, I ultimately wanted the level to be mostly pink/purple.

The white part is just an intermission since I didn’t really know what to put there. Thanks for the compliment

Really good level from what I saw! I like the neon effects you added and it definitely feels like a level that could be rated. I played this at 3 AM and got flashbanged from that ship section where it got all white lol
