The problems
- The level doesn’t execute the theme well. It looks way more like a generic effect level rather than a city.
- It feels like a maze, the structures guide you to the wrong spot and generally makes the gameplay confusing
The solutions
- I would add more city objects such as trash bins, street lamps, and maybe even pedestrians to fit the city theme better
- I would restructure the blocks so not only it would guide the player’s eyes to where it’s supposed to go and add room for details that contribute to the city theme
Yeah i think these have overlapping aspects, restructuring the blocks does add room for city-like details and adding city objects could theoretically guide the player’s eyes to the right spot
