the first problem that i noticed is the bad usage of the glow and the low contrast that it led, i think it would be fixed by adjusting the background brightness to be a bit lighter, and i'd reduce the transparency of the glow + background effects by a little bit, because sometimes it overlaps with the spikes, i'd also adjust some glow object's alignment, because some of them are offset and overlap with each other, and make them do not fade and do not enter, to make it look smoother.
on the second part i'd make it less empty by filling the background and making the background a bit lighter again for better readability, and i'd change the structures to be a bit darker, and i'd change some transitions to make it simpler, with only simple fades. the current one doesn't really fit the level's theming for me.
"Do any of these solutions overlap?"
only the glow and contrast tip, because it makes the level look smoother and increases readability
