Main Idea: A platformer level where you are inside a server room where you travel throughout the computers and wiring, and you try to solve a mystery along the way relating to an outage which affects the level as it goes on.
Secondary Ideas: 1. There could be a virus which affects the server rooms. You have to travel throughout the rooms to find the culprit. I want this to be purely design based, I don't care how long it takes to finish, and it is necessary. The level needs a story. 2. Cutscenes. I think there should be cutscenes in the level, maybe at the start when the servers get infected and in the middle of people getting angry at their computers or something. This is optional, because it could take a very long time to finish and I don't think it's necessary for a great level. 3. Secrets in the server rooms. In each room, there could be some sort of secret, whether it's a old piece of junk software or an unopened computer from 40 years ago. Finding these could potentially give clues and points/coins at the end of the level. I think these are necessary because of the nature of platformer levels, and to make players who want an extra challenge be able to have one.
Tradeoffs: The tradeoff I would pick for this level would be time. I have tons of free time and I would much rather have an amazing level that takes a long time to make than a buggy, poor-quality one that I rush.
(Also, this falls under the Neon theme, the deco would have electricity, lightbulbs, and lots of glow design. The computers and wiring part is just my take on this theme.)

in the tradeoffs point, remember that "time" refers to take less time on the lvl process
Like creating time?
yes
that’s what I meant
Like i’d rather spend a lot of time in the editor than have a buggy and low-quality level yk
