I chose cube on the 1st part even if i could have chosen ufo to sync the music better but i chose cube because it's a better start gamemode and still syncs well thanks to it's straightforward gameplay and mechanic, using basically just platforms to jump on. On the 2nd part i chose ball, mainly thanks to it's non-immediate gravity swap (makes you float for a few ms) helped synchronizing it with the song by putting the platforms closer depending on where it lands.
On the 3rd part i chose ship because no matter when you click, it's either not in sync or in sync so i used it for the straight fly mechanic to do basically clicks at any time, but in terms of the gameplay itself it helps the level a lot on filling and making it more challenging.
On the 4th part (last) i chose robot because it's a fun and basically an upgraded cube gamemode, so i had to do basically the same thing, but if there was the option of a cube i would still use the robot cause it can stop at any time when jumping while the cube cant, so it syncs even better.
