Hello, i am looking for creators who are interested in helping decorate/program mechanics for a GTA style game inside of gd. To specify, this is a fanmade game, with original art and story, not a 1:1 copy. You will be able to go around an open world city and do missions, earn cash, buy items, go through the story, get chased by the cops, or even just mess around.
There are 2 roles available if you are interested in helping out, artist and coder, however you are not restricted to just one.
As an artist you could help out in making sprites like guns, cars, graffiti, icons, stuff like that. Or you can work on the map and add buildings, parks, houses. You don't need to be very experienced, to become an artist.
As a coder, it depends on how advanced you are with triggers. If you have minimum knowledge of ones like spawn remapping, keyframes and such, you can help out in adding npcs and cars roaming throughout the city. However if you know gd programming well, you will have the chance to work on game mechanics, events, and other important aspects.
The only condition is that you have to be semi-active and respond to my messages whenever you have time. If you choose to join you will also gain access to a discord server where you can share your work with the rest of the team and get feedback on your creations.
