problems with camera movement and ship boundary

i’m trying to make the camera pan up to a ship. but when i teleport the player above the object that the camera is locking you the ship gets moved to be within the visible area in the camera. what i wanna do is have the ship above where the camera is initially focused on and then move up to reveal the ship.

would probably use hide icon then have the player move up with a contraption like this, then toggle off

probably wouldn't work with freemode on

Does the ship have free mode on

If not enable it

Replace the ship portal with a camera mode trigger

Idk why but that fixed it

Oh wait I found your issue

You have a spawn group of 2 set in the level settings

if i delete the mode trigger and remove it it still broke

and the player does actually spawn from group id 2 but it’s actually unnecessary

Ok I see now that it still breaks

Anyway just use a mode trigger and continue since that works
