Theme: Glow.
One thing that makes the glow unic, is that its a light that is continous, so it will never stop.
We can use that idea to make the glow a tool so the player can make progress in the level, more like a weapon against the dark.
Another fact about the glow, is that it can be heat, and, thus, it can be a source of power. Because of this, the glow can be used as a requirement on a level, whether its to activate something that needs power or only make the dark places shine. One curious fact, is that our eyes are naturally atracted to the brighter things, so, with glow, I can make the decoration crowd out more and be special. You can also think this fact as a double sharp sword, because if you go out of hand with glow, it will be harder to concentrate in other decorations. With al these properties of glow, we can think about a dark place where the player has to catch glow to fight back the dark, because the darker it is, the less you can see.
