The 4th idea in my "Stating Ideas" exercise.

The level is named "The Underground".
The level uses the song "Field of Memories" by Waterflame, starting from the beginning.
I want it to specifically be a Medium Demon. Easy is too easy and Hard is too hard (actually kinda funny)

The level is completely underground and tells a story of how the player goes deeper and deeper into the caverns.
This level has a repeating gimmick, a minecart that functions as a moving platform that needs to be activated with a lever by touching it.

Chapter 1: Undeground. Music goes from 0 to 29 seconds in this part. A few tens of meters below the surface. It's mostly dirt with some stone.
Half speed cube takes place in the first 15 seconds of this part, including quite a lot of precision and a single minecart.
In the next 7 seconds of gameplay, the level transitions into a mini ship on normal speed, enhancing the claustrophobic feel from the cube part. It kind of eases you into the difficulty of the level after the easy beginning.
The next 7 seconds after that (0:22 to 0:29) are a normal sized ball part. Orb timing from the cube will return here.

Chapter 2: The Mines. Music goes from 30 to 59 seconds in this part. The decoration becomes exclusively stone with some ores and minecart tracks.
This part starts out as a mini cube on normal speed. Gameplay is off-sync platforming with precise orbs and the level expands on the minecart gimmick. Gravity constantly changes, making you touch the floor and the ceiling a lot, solidifying the structure of the mine.
At 7 seconds into the part, the mini cube transitions into a mini ball, still featuring a lot of minecarts including upside down ones.
Second half of the part. It's noticably deeper than the first part, showed by the darker stone. Double speed ship, maneuvering around various pillars of ores. After 7 seconds, transitions into a mini ship with similar gameplay.

Oops. Discord character limit. I'll continue in the next message.

Chapter 3: Ruins. This part starts at the beginning of the first drop and includes a bunch of broken white pillars and statues. It's an extremely open area, with intense parallax being used.
Gameplay is a 4x speed robot with small jumps. Slightly after, transitions into a wave part with varying size. The wave part includes unusual control of the wave, requiring small holds and releases.
The second, more calmer half of this part starts with a ball, becoming less open with the pillar structures making the part feel tight. Slightly after, transitions into a UFO.

Chapter 4: Crystal Caverns. The white structures change for purple crystals. A lot of them. It's also darker, other than the purple glow.
Starts out as a half speed robot part with large jumps over large crystal formations. Then transitions into another UFO.
The second half starts as a mini spider and returns the minecart gimmick. The levers for them are in such places that you have to go out of your way to touch them. Orange glow starts to appear at the end of the part.

Chapter 5: Lava Caverns. The floor is completely lava and there are lots of lava waterfalls everywhere. Starts out as a UFO, with a lot of gravity portals. Then the part transitions into a climactic ship part with you maneuvering around stalactites, stalagmites and floating rocks, with the path becoming straight at the end.
The level ends with a slow cube part, with lava rising and you escaping from it, ending with a blue orb sending you upwards.

I will make the complete layout for the level before making any decoration. The level has unusual gameplay and it's really important that it will be as perfect as possible.
I'm not yet ready for the level of decoration in this level but I will return to this level later, when I'll get way more familiar with decorating.

This level is very similar to The Cellar Path with its decoration and gameplay ideas, so I guess it could function as a much more accessible version of it.

uhh I might've gone a bit too overboard with the explanation. I hope it's fun to read, at least.
