"Sit," Aizawa said. Watching UA's student population among its many walkways and buildings. Bakugo stared at his homeroom teacher, watching him on that bench. Slowly, he sat next to him.

"So what is this?" Bakugo said immediately. His lip curling.

"You know what it is," Aizawa said, still not looking at him.

"Some kinda bull punishment? Half and half-"

"Todoroki doesn't have anything to do with this. It's about you, Bakugo. And...no, it's not a punishment."

"Then what is it?"

Aizawa paused for a moment. Then he finally looked at Katsuki, his eyes somehow more shadowed in the sun, "We had a discussion, the faculty and I, after the Sports Festival, about your behavior."

He raised an eyebrow. Already he was preparing to defend himself.

"I took it upon myself to talk about it with you. Seeing as you are my student. Consider this a warning."

Bakugo stared at him. Internally, he could give less of a damn. He'd had many warnings for his behavior at Aldera, none of them ever taking root. They hadn't even called his parents.

"You don't seem to get it. This is a final warning."

"What?"

"You act up again, and you're done. No second chances."

Again, Bakugo just nodded and looked away. Not really understanding the full gravity of what Aizawa was telling him. Aldera had taught him no thoughts about consequence.

Aizawa noticed. He stared at the back of Bakugo's head. Then he looked away, "I don't think you get it."

"I do-"

"You haven't the faintest idea of what I'm talking about."

Bakugo's head whipped around at him, a sneer crossing his face, but Aizawa's stare silenced the insults prepared in his throat.

"You have loving parents, a stable home life, your marks are exceptional, the means by which you use your quirk extraordinary. Yet you continue to posture like this. It calls into question as to why?"

Bakugo snorted, "Oh come on, everyone always friggin tells me that."

"That you have the potential to be a great hero? I'm sure they did, but I don't agree. You're not a hero, you're the furthest thing from it right now."

Bakugo's lip twitched, "W-"

"You heard me. Let me...guess, you were always told you were amazing correct? Anything less and you wouldn't matter. Well, you are not a special little snowflake here at UA, Bakugo. You're a trainee among many other trainees with gifts, and you're squandering yours."

"What would you know!?" It slipped out before Bakugo could stop himself.

Aizawa looked at him, quiet for a moment. Just watching Katsuki. "I know what it's like to be on a team where one member believes he can fight all on his own. Guess what? He died, and so will you."

"The hell-"

"Your unwillingness to work with others, your aversion to understanding your fellow man, it'll spell a doom that means you'll die within perhaps your first couple years. I know these things because I've seen them happen Bakugo. It's why you're not a hero. Not yet."

Bakugo glared at him.

"The reason you're not expelled right now is because Principal Nezu and I believe in your ability to succeed. You have the necessary strength, but nothing else. Strength alone is not enough for this kind of work. If we spot your outbursts again, it will be noted. After that I can't garuntee your education here at UA."

Bakugo looked away again, still seething, going red in the face over not being able to talk back. "My strength-"
