Some gods gain power when their people place their trust in their hands
The strenght of a bunch channeling into one granting the vessel great power
As this power is used for purposes which do not align with the people’s beliefs, their trust will decrease
Divinity shall not persist if the people are not faithful
Channeling all strenght into the one who isnt aligned with mortal senses feels wrong
why not thou shall achieve divinity on its own
making people place their trust in thee’s hands instead of the immortal’s
the lost trust will bring back the old god to human senses
the then vessel shall achieve godhood
But what would it truly mean
a mortal ascending towards godhood?

shall he break the trust of his subjects then may he face the same fate as the past divine body
