It was pretty controversial in the community cuz it was a reboot trilogy that had a much more complex story

In that piece of credits in the reignited trilogy it depicts a broken piece of art with Cynder on it, not only acknowledging her but also ripping on her

The similarities between the life cycles of those two are almost like some sort of destiny bond

Both had amazing trilogies, followed by horrible 4th installments by another company that ruined the franchise, both followed by a 5th game that was alright good, after which both had reboots that massively changed the formula and were received hesitantly. Afterwards both ended up in Skylanders and then both got amazing remakes of their original trilogies

Also both had gba installments and both had gba/DS installments of their reboots
