Oh Roxas. (SDR2 Spoiler) || I was tryna solve something in the second case and I had to find what the murder weapon was in the murder case that happened in the past that was in a video game? Yeah, it's hard to explain but I was supposed to figure out that the culprit used a freakin school swimsuit, filled it with pebbles from a fish tank, and used that to kill the victim. The culprit then disposed of the swimsuit and then blamed the disappearance of the swimsuit on some local pervert. How in the ever loving frick was I supposed to figure any of that out?? Like really. That part in the 2nd case of SDR2 tilted me so hard. I almost broke my controller just like that time I fought Pontiff. ||

Alchemy was very broken. The effectiveness of your potions was contingent on your Intelligence stat but you could also make potions to increase your Intelligence. I hope you can see where I'm going with this.
Make a potion to increase your Intelligence stat, drink it, make another Intelligence potion, drink it, and you continue this process until your Intelligence stat is like 999999999 or something. Once your intelligence stat is really high you can make other potions to increase your other stats as well like Health, Strength, etc.

PSA to anyone playing Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield:
If you are playing the game on any SD card formatted to exFAT, remove your save game immediately and re-download it onto another SD card or onto internal memory. Saving the game while on an exFAT formatted SD card can lead to your SD card being corrupted and all of the data on it (for all games) being completely destroyed.
This is due to an error in Nintendo's coding (on the Switch side, GameFreak isn't at fault here) when handling exFAT formatting.
Any SD card above 32GB is automatically formatted to exFAT, and cannot be formatted to anything else without the use of external programs such as Rufus or GUIFormat. If you must use this SD card for your games, I highly suggest reformatting it with one of these programs (this will wipe the SD card completely, so please be careful).
Again, if you are playing on internal hardware, or on any SD card set to fat32 or ntfs you should be fine. Be careful.

@kindred cipher Yeah, if your SD is formatted like that. I would check to make sure it's not formatted like that. Again, any SD card above 32GB can only be switched off of exFAT by downloading a program like GUIFormat and changing it manually via that, so I highly recommend you double check what formatting your SD card has via a computer.
Also, yeah, physical copies aren't exempt from this as far as I'm aware. So be careful there too.

Oblivion is fine, but like I said it's best to start with the classic. Do you have access to a PC? Morrowind isn't a demanding PC game so pretty much any system can run it. It's a really old game too so you can find it for a cheap price.

Yeah the gameplay is based on a dice roll system like Dungeons and Dragons.
Combat can be pretty funky. When you swing your sword at someone and you see it hit, that doesn't mean that it actually hit. Whether or not you hit or miss your attack is based on dice rolls.

Idk if this is true, but am hearing the data wipe crash doesn't actually delete save data. Because save data is stored on the Switch and not the SD card. You'd just have to redownload the games that are on the SD.

Just notifying all you halo peeps on PC, but some of the games are out for Pre-Purchase (MCC for 40 USD, Reach for like 10 USD). Don't know the exact release dates tho.
On the other hand, I think MCC will also be one the Xbox game pass when it comes to PC and Discord is doing a promotion for a 3 month game pass if you buy the $10 Nitro so there's also that (but again MCC/Halo games aren't officially released on PC as of now so don't jump the gun too far).
