In DS1, I died more to those archers than to any boss in the game.

Here's my personal top 3 most difficult bosses in DS3:

1. Pontiff Sulyvahn
2. Abyss Watchers
3. Nameless King

Out of the base game content, Pontiff was the hardest boss for me not only in DS3 but in the entire trilogy. For me, he might actually be the most challenging boss from any modern FromSoft game with the exclusion of Demon's Souls because I haven't played that one yet.

A lot of the bosses in FromSoft games have made me feel frustrated but Pontiff was the only one to ever make me think about breaking my controller, lmao. I almost uninstalled the game because of him.
