Continuing from Anime, my idea was to take one of the LEGO games and mod it to feature settings and characters of MHA.

It had superstrength, whip mechanics, character doors... But now I'm probably gonna go with LEGO DC Supervillains or one of the LEGO Marvel games to stick with the city environments in MHA.
The first step was settling a mold for all the characters to slot into. Everyone in MHA has their own weird and unique powers, so I worked backwards and looked at the common themes: Building, Grappling, Superspeed, Superstrength, and elementals. If I encountered a character who didn't fit into those molds I looked at the other characters and saw if they had any similarities, if enough characters did I'd work a way to make the mechanics fit to them; Koda, Tokoyami, and Mr. Compress resulted in a summoning mechanic while Shinsou, Aizawa, and Stain resulted in manipulation/mind control mechanics

From there collectibles had to be added to make use of these powers and add puzzles to levels that would otherwise be too short, taking the standard red bricks and minikits whilst also adding the Citizen in Peril mechanic from Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, Marvel and DC. The minikits were replaced with Deku's notebooks, which unlocked dioramas based on other Shonen Jump properties, that would unlock new characters when finished.

Just looking at the cast of MHA is a large variety of heights, weights, shapes, and even species. Once again I'd have to figure out to make these characters into actual figures. Some, like Stain or Ojiro, were as simple as adding some pieces from old and obscure LEGO sets. Tokoyami, Mina, Shoji, Sero, and Mineta were real pains though.

Well the sizes and shapes would be easy I think, many Lego figs have the same dimensions with exceptions such as little legs and big figs, so I think drawing on there proportions to give the illusion like when you have a female Lego fig, you draw a feminine figure would work

Mina had to accept clown hair with two holes added to accept her horns, Tokoyami had to take pieces from LEGO Chima for reference while Dark Shadow had to become a variety of dragon, bird, and building pieces. Shoji was a modified version of Manbat from a variety of the LEGO Batman games and sets, and Sero needed some of those weird advanced LEGO pieces in place of his arms.
With the cast built up I moved forward to levels. The main trouble I encountered was which scenes to keep and which to toss as playable locations and events. A variety of changes had to be made for gameplay reasons, like Sansa the police officer assisting All Might in chasing the slime villain, Deku and Aoyama teaming up to participate in the entrance exam, and the tournament arc...

The best part was creating a new spin on these stories though, like having Deku and Iida work together to dismantle the 0 pointer from the inside, Uraraka and Tsu chase down Toga through the forest, or Shigaraki and Deku cooperating to destroy shops filled with Stain merchandise.
