wwo doesnt relly control how much ads you get, their limit is 100 but the ad provider can run out sooner
clearing cache can help and if it doesnt you'll have to wait till next day

@jolly nacelle I'd assume its because ranked has different mechanics than any other gamemode (leagues, skill points, etc) and chances are you and your friend might not be in the same league. Also to reduce the amount of teaming in ranked since it's more "serious" than other gamemodes.

You could try exp farms, or just grind your way on top! I personally recommend just playing, since that will help your game knownledge advance even furthur! And exp farms are always in "Custom Games". But the best gamemode to grind for exp is "Quick Game" since they are a quick games.
