For the sake of your question. Lets compare arso to serial killer to find out the pros and cons of arsonist.
Pros
-Arsonist can bypass doctor and any protective role to kill informers.(except jailer so dont dose gunner when he is jailed)
-Arsonist can potentially kill more people than sk. Example: 3 nights kill 4 people. Sk= 3 nights kill 3 people.
-Arsonist does not trigger tough guy or bg so his attack is more efficient than sk.

Cons
-the most obvious one is he has to dose before fire. So he must predict how is going to die before the next night. I suggest dosing: watered priest, confirmed good role by aura/seer, claimed pacifists, and any confirmed good roles. Dose aura/seer/det with precausion because junior ww might avenge them and make your dose go to waste, but when you dont have confirmed good roles, you can dose aura/det.
-arsonist has to wait before he can fire a key role, example: i really want to kill that jailer, but I have to dose him first.
-when 1 arso vs 2 villagers during night phase, you will lose because you have to dose first. But sk will win because he can just kill one of the villager.
-when 1 arso vs 1 fool, you have to play the cowboy show for 2 days instead of 1 day for sk.

There s something they didn't tell about the "you protected x last night" as doc message. When 2 docs protects the same person, both doc will have this message shown. If 2 tg protects the same person, they will both know who is the ww or sk who attacked that person and both tg die. BUT if 2 bg with 1 shield protect the person who gets attacked, only 1 bg will die. No one asked any questions about these things. If I am wrong please correct me. I just want to put this here.

So like. There was a time where 2 doc got the message same night and one of them blame the other to be fake, but both were real and were killed by lynch and bullet. It might be helpful to know.
