Depends on the context. If you're communicating your roles, and other information outside of the game, that's not allowed. Just wearing the same clothing is allowed. Random lynching is pretty dumb though. Coordinated lynching is not allowed.

I often get the same issue, try going back to your inventory and clicking the outfit out want again and then go back to your main menu, and it usually works for me. Also try clearing you cache, or reinstall the app. @vapid lodge
