if you have 1700 skill points, you will enter the aura and detective gamemode with a preset shaman in ww team. Below 1700 skills point, it's aura and aura seer game with no shaman in preset but you can get shaman as random ww. aura seer and seer game is usually easier for the village team to win than aura seer and detective mode. Aura seer and seer game will help new players to get better at the game and eventually play the more complicated mode (detective + aura seer). When you enter the 1700+ zone, people tends to be more serious about the game. Scenario 1: he will get banned since guardians can not see the chat from first few nights where you told your teamates to sell you. Then he will have to talk to the guardians about the whole situation, then the guardians will decide what to do.
Scenario 2: the guardians saw your chat and saw you told your team to sell you but still don't understand it and banned you because the guardians don't know you can sell people in game. Then rip.

I know some Guardians don't think it's gamethrowing as gamethrowing is on a team basis, and since solo killer has no team, it isn't gamethrowing. But personally, I find it at the very least disrupts the game and hurts the wolves so if you have a pattern of it (3+ games where you ask to die for being such and such role), I'll most likely issue a ban.

I discussed it with the other guardians and we feel that random revealing should follow the same rules as random shooting. Revealing without info is against the rules, especially revealing right away after day one or two. After day two, we will consider a random reveal to be a use of intuition (Unless the user displays a pattern of malicious revealing). Thoughts on that?

Good points. Random reveal is indeed against the dynamic of the game. As for this kind of question, there is always counter arguments. As pacifist, random revealing on day 1 is generally good for the villager team. If paci reveals a bad role, good for him. If he reveals a good role, it is still pretty good too. For example. I say on day 1:" I am pacifist I will reveal someone pls tell me your role when asked" I then revealed a doctor. By revealing doctor and claiming paci myself. I proved me and doctor are good.

Aura seer and seer can skip me(paci) and doctor when they check at night 2. Having 2 roles proven good on day one is equivalent of saving 2 nights of search by aura seer and can skip any possible enchantment by shaman. Because aura seer can only search 1 person per night, having 2 people already revealed good = save him 2 nights time to check other players. not needing to check me and doc saves him a lot of time and villagers advance in their search much faster. It is a real good time saver to reveal someone on day 1 especially there is no target people want to lynch.

The value of pacifist goes down with time as in late game wasting a voting phase could be devastating for the village team. For these reasons I see random reveal on day 1 as partially a good way to speed up the investigation with no downside.
