We talked for a while, then he said "enjoy your ban" and left. I was wondering if I could do something about this, like report him or something? Not sure if it's a good reason but everything he said was unnecessary and if he was friends with staff he should be aware of the way things work

I think generally speaking, if you join a clan mid-quest, you won't earn any of the rewards they earn. However, if you started it with the clan and feel you should be able to earn the rest (Which you should), feel free to send a direct message to Philipp and he may be able to fix it for ya.

Thanks for the question, always like when users are curious about our systems! Each reporting method has advantages and disadvantages:
The in-game reports give us access to chat logs and actions but we only see a user (Meaning we are alerted to them) after 8 or 9 reports.
The #ingame-reports-archieved reports only give us access to screenshots but alert us to any rule breakers right away.
So if you want to do the maximum, ban both ways and that'll ensure action is taken asap.
Edit since I missed half the question: Like Gowther said, we only see in-game reports on our website.

Generally speaking, I don't think I've seen random roles (Which is the only way a HH would spawn from random) outside of custom games so yeah, maybe a glitch. I have seen it before where the game will incorrectly display roles in chat and perhaps that is what happened and it glitched the HH role onto that one player.

@winged bison ahh we used to use a google drive/spreadsheet and labeled each spreadsheet by the week, like 1/1/19 - 1/7/19 and filled it with Reported IGN, Reporting IGN, Mod IGN (thats over the report), reason for report, action/punishment. The head admin/mod was the creator of the dox and whoever was admin/mod had access to it. It helped keep track and organized everything.

@violet hull I understand your question. When the Sect Leader converts you and others in the sect and he suicides, you are still a sect member no matter what. You don't go back to the villager team after he suicides. It's the same if you and SL dies and you get revived, you are still in the sect.

But it depends on how quick you do it. For the most part, your reports may be shuffled into one (We see the first one, and then a tab labeled "Others" is under it so we can see all of yours) if you report too quickly. But lets say you report him every time you get matched with him for bug abuse and you get matched with him every ten-twenty min, they should count as separate reports as the core incident changed (By being a different game). Hope that explains it.
