Tbh it looks kinda random and the amount of very saturated colours clash with the simple orange-y palette of the rest of the design

the lines look a bit messy, especially at the 'seams' of the jacket-thing

I'm not a big fan of the shading of it. At the roots you started to make the lines to show that the hair is not basically one piece but it splits in tufts and strands but except for that the other shading is 'blocky' as in like, it makes it look like the hair is one chunk (idk how to explain it)
The ribbon behind looks like it extends very widely but is still strangely in place and it unnaturally doesn't 'sag' down much.

I get that it a piece of paper with doodles on top but they could be cleaner and maybe add some shading to the paper (to either make it look wrinkled or like a neat and flat page)

I have no detailed fb on it, I think the little origami are very cute

I'd make the stack of paper just a little more tidy? Or make the grey lines simply straight, is also that pale orange patch part of the front item? If so, what is it?

I get the idea, it's a cute concept but some lines can be more slick and one thing that kinda bothers me is how the background is so colourful but the rest of the design is just orange-brown-beige-white-black, it feels like they don't exactly belong to each other

@narrow shard adding onto the others feedback the eyes lenses also have some very thin outlines. Remove those / make them thicker and a dark green so it's more of a shading technique. I also suggest making the lashes a bit bigger. Keep in mind that if your design goes in-game it'll be downsized into the tiny grid squares and such fine details won't be visible. Generally looks very interesting and unique so far; keep going and maybe read the Styleguide!

No it wouldn't since it's not all the way around. Tho I'd remove the small line in the middle and also the shape is a bit unnatural towards the middle, it'd rathee be tilted more downwards than upwards @plucky iron

@faint solar looks very pretty so far! I'd try integrating the shading of folds a bit more with the arms shading. The shading in the hair looks quite inconsistent and the hairline is a bit high. Flower in the hair has a quite wobbly shape. Eyes may be a bit big and high for general designs but definitely works on this one. Very well done! It's really cute and the colour scheme is gorgeous

Question: How do all of you creators make your eyes? Do you do one at a time? A symmetry brush? Or a copy/flip? I'm trying to figure out how to make my eyes even but I'm struggling.

I have also noticed that the template is asymmetrical which confused me at first. Lol
