I like the small details on it. Keep in mind that they are possible not visible in the game especially the extreme small ones.

The colors you picked are nice and give a cool contrast to the background. Especially the shirt has a nice contrast to the BG but fits extremely good with the yellow stars and the hair!

I like the hair idea and I am a big fan of orange because it is not used very often. The ends of the "bangs" are a bit wrong. They don't end usually like the end of other hair. They usually go together and end a bit "sharper". Also I would like to see more shades there. But hair is hard, so it is already a good start!

The mask is a nice idea and could be really cute. We never had any similar like this before, so nice idea. I would add more details as well. Also some pins, tapes or similar would be good because the now hang infront of her face and actually it would fall down if it's normal paper, so maybe add that.

@mossy shoal oh that's because the file was damaged and the software is trying to recover all the things you've done!
Maybe it won't let you edit the file because it has a lot of layers and small details that it lags too much?
I use Ibis Paint X for basically every drawing and edit I have to do on my phone and I've learned that it gets extremely laggy when I try to design the whole thing in just one canvas so I use one canvas for the face items and hair, one for the foreground and background and one for the clothes and put the other items with their layers merged together (but I don't actually merge them in the other canvases)
