@sturdy rivet hello 👋🏼 first of all, I'd suggest you have a look at hair in game and how the shadings are done. In general, bigger shadings are more preferred than thin lines, and shades/highlights should be dark/bright enough from each other. Also the shading of your hair looks a little blurred, I'd use hard brush to get cleaner lines here

Same thing for WWO text, you used a textured brush - which looks blurred on both ends and can be considered gradients.

Your eyes look pretty cool, I like them 😊 however, the left eye is smaller than the right one. I'd duplicate the left eye for the right side instead (keep the eye hightlights as they are tho). Your eyes are a little off center btw.

Shirt wise, the armpits usually aren't just a straight line. There are so wrinkles and the lines are a little curved, with shading. You can google "shirt vector" to see how it usually looks like.

Also sorry for asking but what are those red lines for front items? The shapes look a bit odd and I'm not sure what they are 😅

@grim remnant I personally would make the braids a little bigger and less complicated (without many "eyes"), as it could be quite a pain to shade later also make the lines more curved and without too many corners? The shape looks interesting so far, looking forward to the next steps of it

If you have stabilizer on, try moving your finger more slowly. Drawing takes a lot of phone memory and it could be lagging from time to time. Also I would try to focus more on the overall shape of the hair than using lines, so don't worry too much about it for now

When you sketched the shape and filled it, you can always use an eraser to smooth out the edges after

@true remnant lovely details, I really like it I think it's a little too detailed for game style, but it can be made simpler during tracing phase if it gets in game.
Personally I find the hair highlight (across their head) isn't very necessary, it's a little distracting for me. Also I think your eyes are a little too low, you could try to move the hair and eyes a bit higher. If they are too low, they might not fit well with other hair in game

Eyes: i think they look good, but theyre too high up and the iris is outlined. Also the mirrored highlights

Dress, the top part is outlined and there should be some shading added to it. The necklace beads are too small (wont show up ig)
Foreground: the ring is outlined and the purple planet should be just one solid color with maybe details of different of color instead or just make the other lines thicker so thatll youll be able to see them ig
Bg: same thing as i said with the planets. Another thing are the splatters. Theyre blurry. Other than that this looks amazing

I'm not sure if the mouth fits, she looks like a pretty girl but the mouth kind of put it off :pikaumm: I'd go for something more feminine here.

@quick harbor so far so good as you’ve certainly followed WWO’s guideline. I’d just have cosmetic feedback like I’d go tiny bit more detailed for eyes (I usually have eye liner, then more details for iris) and would move on to front items

Can someone explain a few rules for shading of hair or give me some tips. I usually don't to shading like this so I'm struggling a bit tried looking at what the ig skins are shaded like but mehhh I dunno, help is appreciated ^^

I have the feeling that the contrast between the shadings,highlights and the hair color is a bit to low. I think you can make the shadings a bit darker and the highlights brighter

But I always struggle with the shadings too 🤷‍♀️

@wanton heath Its really nice, I just think that on the shirt, the grayish (lighter opacity white lines?) should be lighter. If its meant to be a highlight, the lines need to be thicker, if its ment to be shading, it needs to be with a darker blue
