it's really obvious you took the original eye and are just editing the original by recoloring and erasing some lashes

feel free to use bases, but as reference, and not tracing / copying the whole thing, then editing the other artists eye.

It's best if you learn how to draw the eye independently using the tips and asking questions in the chat, not by traching someone elses work, you won't get your item in the game that way.

@latent estuary when I was first starting I'd trace the designs of hair, eyes, etc to get an understanding of how the artist got what they did and that's fine! It's good practice, and you can help develop your style that way too! Modifying it is cool too, experimenting to see what you like is 100% okay. But that's just to learn. Trying to sell it off as your own isn't allowed, even if you do credit the artist you're still scalping their work and that's not fair to the original artist.

It's not really "yours" you don't own it if you're editing the original thing (tracing)

you're recoloring and slightly editing things to the original features, but the prominent features such as the eye shape and eyebrow shape haven't changed at all, and even if they were changed it'd still be considered the same - tracing

#

I wish you can listen to what we've said in the chat. Using this as a reference to improve your art when you're a beginner is fine, but trying to sell this off as your own artwork is not fine.

Ok but- the hairs are almost exactly the same.. one ear is out the bangs very similar even the ends of the braids are similar @latent estuary not sure if it was purposeful or not but I would suggest changing it some or they may reject it
