It's hard to explain... But yeah, smooth, sharp shapes are better for shading 😅 you can use a small eraser to clean up the edges a bit

@quick harbor I won't say much at this point but you could start with making hair and eyes more proportional, or use layers - draw one eye and duplicate it to the other side to make it more even. For hair references, I usually google "fe/male hair vector" for something rather easy to work it
