This is a phenomenous first try like hecc... ur talented bb.

I would only make some slight adjustments, as for shading of the hair, it's very slightly and well... careful done at the moment :p

I helped two ppl with hair shadin today so if you wanna give me.... 20-30 minutes i could try to sketch out some hair shading too! ^^
As a guide or you can also just trace it i would love to be helpful💕 and nope no need to credit me!

As for the eyes, they are like reallyy bright right now and you can't see any colour differences like for the pupil etc, i'd make the pupil darker and the highlights lighter, also i'd add a small light grey shadow right underneath the eyelid yk, to give it dimension :3

Also i'd advise you to make the eyeline and the eyebrows a bit thinner and rather a dark yellow-ish grey? :3

So it looks less harsh ^^
As for the shirt, i'd probably add a bit more shading + arm seperations in order to give it depth!
I really love the pattern tho, i'd love to wear a shirt like that!

As for the background, if it's gonna be a flower child-like avatar or even if not, i'd maybe rather add flower petals flying in the wind?
We already got a couple but not any that go diagonally up as if the win slowly sucks them up like in a tornado, you know what i mean?👀

And lastly the front item flowers, definetely make the flower heads like wayyy bigger because rn in game they would only look like a small yellow dot with a black dot in it :p

I'd also make the middle of the,,, i guess sunflower?
Not black but rather a real real dark brown :3

As i already mentioned the eyes are droppy, which is no problem at all that's just a thing of taste and tbh we have no droppy eyes in game really👀

Tho they look a bit too big currently to be honest, i'd scale them down just a teensie lil bit :3

As for the hair, it is prefered to avoid such kind of hairstyle and instead to choose something that does not cover the neck because it could look weird with big shirts, maybe even a couple of shirts, tho again it is preferred it's only more suitable for mix and matching then :3

Also i do see that you chose a middle parting which means on our right side is more hair than on our left side, but at the bottom both do have the same volume of hair only one side is longer?👀
I'd also make our left side less voluminous at the bottom part of the hair

Also these really fine strands will barely be visible in game so i'd make them thicker💕
Now onto the front item... i forgot what it is... a....blanket...? Lemme call it blanket :p
I'd add shadows where the bottom of it is yk? Because it's cut off so there should be a shadow :3

Also i'd add a shadow underneath the blanket to give it more depth, in a low opacity black for instance ^^

The shirt is pretty basic but it's still nice!

@ruby cobalt also I'd try to fix these parts. The middle 2 strands are too straight imo, and also maybe you could merge them into a bigger one? Or just shorten the longest part. And the hair on the right has an odd shape. I'd try to make a smooth curve from the hair top and make the corner (where it connects to the lower hair strands) more pointy, not curved

Imma break all my principles and morals and use the forbidden letters and this odd style of speaking...

We usually don't rly use pure black for designing cause you can't shade pure black as pure black is already the lack of light👀
So we usually use an artifical black which is a less dark black, so we can still shade it

I'd advise you to do that for the black on da shirt, also the crystal on the shirt is barely visible, you should make it bigger ^^

also we don't rly use half shading for masks anymore as it is just not how shading works👀
We usually shade in a bow at the side which should be darker :3

Other than that i love it, tho the hair lacks a bit shading but if you prefer it that way no prob💕

Other than that this design is adorableee and ur improving so quickly woww,,, keep that up!

Jin already said that you should make the shading on the hair darker and i would add somd shading at the tips of the hair aswell as these look pretty bland at the moment, other than that awesome job on the hair!

i would also add a bit more shading on the sea shell in the background?
To give it a bit more dimension ^^

As for the eyes i would make the eyeline and iris a bit darker and i would add a small grey shadow on the white part of the eye, as a shadow from the eyelid, giving the eye more depth!

And of course add eyebrows but i suppose you were gonna do that either way, tho i would maks the sea shell bra aka the shirt rather purple as right now the eyes are the only thing of that shade of purple, the hair is a purpl-ish pink but the eyes are a rather blue-ish violet if you know what i mean :3

Other than that it's gorgeous ur such an awesome designer bb don't undersell urself!❤

@vast tide first I would move the hairline up just a tad

And I wouldn't make the hairline so.. straight

@distant saddle the little strands of hair won't be visible ig, make them thicker (I have the same problem)
