I'd love to go to design school 👀 my dad told me if I passed the exam to law school, he would pay for my private studies in a design institution.

So I passed the law school, I dropped out a year later (failed couple of classes and didn't want to continue), went abroad, got a degree in some sort of management, went abroad again, worked 3 years in graphics department of a consulting firm...

... I still haven't seen a single sight of that promised design studies 👀

I've personally used all of them, sketch, ibis and medibang

I prefer medibang because as said the stabilizer is gorgeous, it exports in good quality and just has all features that are needed, the layout on android is very neat and organized and once you've found your way in it it's just very handy to use

Ibis isn't bad but i really dont like the layout i can't tell why.... it's just aesthetic wise ig tho👀

@vocal hornet hey hey ^^ that's a really nice start and I like the Ying Yang idea pretty much. We already have a design with this theme in game, but I don't think this should stop you here ^^
Now the things you could improve.

you can always use the default eyes, yes, but the problem is, that it's hard to combine. On this point it could be easier to draw your own eyes. Like this you can make them smaller, lower placed etc.
The eyes have mirrored "highlights" (in " because the one is black). This is not in use anymore and in the most designs it looks weird. You can make the eyes a different color, but... On some point it's probably too much xD maybe you can make the eyes less different?
Also the both lines around the eyes looks odd. I would not use them, especially not with the default eye shape. The reason is, that it looks really weird and more like you accidentally made them
The symbol in the face loos weird. It's too big and if you use another hairstyle, it's not visible anymore. Most hairstyles have a lover hairline than this and would cover it. The symbol makes the hairline higher than needed

for the mouth, Nagini is right. But this is not just the mouth, you can not use outlines. That's against our style guide, which is pinned since yesterday on top so you may check it out
The eye parts. Well..... Why are they there? And then.... Why is the white earring on the white side, even if you always made it so they don't meet each other it blends in with the hair and confuses, since you did something "always" and on this point you didn't.
shirt. Ye. Hm. What should I say? It reminds me of the shirt of the dragon apprentice I drew a while ago xD. It looks like many random placed lines and why doesn't it have arms? Is it a <?
Hair: it definitely needs a lower hairline. The current one would look weird with other eyes in game and items as one. The shading style looks weird, and I would suggest to NOT making the point, where black and white meet, this straight. It looks weird. The hair is flying under the head, as you may have noticed the pony is not long enough, but that's probably because of the hairline.
the background... Did you ever hear something like: less is sometimes better than too much? Well that's what fits here the best I don't know, where I should look at it. It's too much, and even if normally the avatar is the eye catcher, this is definitely not.... Oof xD

All in all, you should work with smoother lines and maybe try a thinner pencil. You can normally choose how thin it should be, in the app you use.

The only thing I would change is that little piece of ear coming out of the hair on the right side. @somber bronze I prefer the red straps personally, and the lighter wings. 😍 But you did such a good job, and that’s one of my favorite designs I’ve seen so far for the next bp.

Oooh that looks amazing, but there are some small thing you could improve on:
-As bunni said above, the planet looks plain and flat and adding some craters would fix that
-it looks like that the eyes of the boy are lower and or bigger than the girl ones. Maybe put the boy eyes a bit higher or make them smaller
-the scarf you made is amazing. But it goes in both front and back which is a problem since items like that are impossible to add properly
-the shirt can use a little more shading too, there is almost none (except if you mean the darker green, which first looks more like a part if the shirt and not as shading)

Apart from that i really love the outfit, i especially love the fox front item. It is sooo cute 😍 keep up the great work

@sharp notch thanks for your nice feedback and compliments 🌹 🙂 so for the eyes, I intended the two genders to have some difference, like how the girl crinkles her eyes more to establish different personas. About the scarf, it's a part of the front shirt, which in my layers shows both the front and the back the way I wanted! I also made a separate layer without it so the full outfit without the scarf can be a choice, so I hope that resolves that problem 😁 I'll try to add more shading on the outfits like you said, but will you help me out by point out the areas you want shading to be shown?

The scarf is a part of the shirt item, which covers the head but allows the hair part to be over the shirt. That's why the scarf is able to be designed that way :)

As example, hair can't go behind the back, but should go above the head. The body layer is under hair layer. The reason for the rule, that it can't go behind the back is, that Shirts would be cut

That is why it hurts my poor artist hearteu, that i have to tell you that but... it doesn't fit the wwo style...

It's basically that you used a lot of chalk like looking and soft brushes which sadly are not embraced in the simple style of werewolf online...

Maybe try tracing your stuff on a new layer with a harsher brush, like a brush that does not fade away so you get sharp edges, the hair looks amazing, shading and everything looks perfeeect, so just use another brush for recreating it, but keep the hairstyle and colours as is!!

Sadly we do not allow gradient so, the blush on her cheeks and the eye shadow is not allowed, atleast not the purple one and the white highlight on top, mostly hence the soft brush faded out a bit, otherwise the eyes look amazing tho, probably would be better toning down the eyelashes, or atleast making them a tad thicker ^^

The smoke also looks stunning but isn't allowed either :(
What would be allowed is using different layers of opacity!

As for the fur coat, just try to define the colours a bit more, giving them less of a fading effect or adding the fading effect with a slightly translucent layer of the same colour, that should already do it, i'd also add a bit more of shading onto it

Otherwise i really love ittt but it's too fancy for wwo, style-wise, tho a very unique and nice piece of art for sure ❣

A lot of people also use Adobe illustrator which is paid tho

active/activated, but "active" fits more linguistic wise into the situation imo
