That is really cute, i like it already but overall it needs to be smoother. The shirt of the girl looks really good. The boy one too but the the darker blue part needs to be more smooth (see pink on my pic). The mouth is cute but is not conisistant on both sides. The part under the ear looks like it is floating (see yellow on my pic). Mostly due to the shading and shadows of it. As said before the ponytail shading doesnt make sense but that are you fixing rn it seems. Make the black line around the eyes smoother too, they have some weird bumps at some point. The eyes look copy pasted of eachother, which is not a problem but it makes the avatars look like they look to the left, they should look at us, the player. The boys hair is also a bit weird. I think it is mostly due to the shading. So in short what i would change:
-smooth out the dark blue on the boys shirt
-smooth out the black lines at the eyes
-improve shading on both hairstyles
-make the mounth consistent
-make the hair under the right ear not float
-make the eyes look forward
