That way it has more details, and they match eachother more as well

Yeah the eye colour definately stands out, why not just brown, that really fits the colour scheme! And this is probs more of a personal opinion, but I think the hair will look better if it was a little lighter/more blonde, so its closer in colour to the donut and the drink

@stray relic basically this is a good concept and I like the idea but I would add some highlights and shading on the Donut background. Also the ears need more shading in the ears darker and they are in the hair so on the bottom part too. If you look under the head you see two thin white lines, which do not fit in and it's a little bit weird, that the bottom part of the hair has shading and the top part has just a few lines... I will show you what I mean in me beautiful gallery drawings xD
