@silk needle When designing the background item, try to avoid text. Many WWO players don't speak englisch or use different font systems. The headscarf thingy has quite straight lines on the upper side, but faces are round. I'd also suggest to put huger shading on it. Those dollar notes in the pocket are quite colorful compared to the rest of the design, making them stand out a lot. Last but not least, the eyes. Their lines are a little too straight as well. Also, maybe try putting more space between eye and eyebrow. For the symbol in the eyes: it is now taken straight out of the game. Maybe design it slightly different yourself?
It might seem like I'm critiquing a lot now, but I really like your concept, especially the hair on the girl version.

@nocturne roost Looking good so far. The shaved parts of the hair, are they translucent? Otherwise they might look weird in combination with other skin colors. Staying at the hair of the girl, the light part of it has a quite triangular shape. Shouldn't that part go further down? Onto the boys hair: think about how much of the head is supposed to be shaved. Has he got just a sidecut or a full undercut? If it's an undercut, you might downsize the shaved part, because that much hair he got must be attached to his head somewhere. At both characters: are those neckaces with leo symbols on a layer on their own or part of the shirt? Anyway, they are hard to see, because they are so small.
