Role name: Mirage Werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of wolf shaman

Ability: Mirage

Description: The Mirage can be put on anyone, including yourself. The Mirage Werewolf selects two players at night to cast a mirage on. The mirage makes the selected players switch roles for a day and makes them appear as the role of the other selected players for investigative roles (e.g., Seer, Aura Seer, Vigilante).

Motivation: The Mirage Wolf introduces a unique twist to the werewolf team by adding another element of deception and confusion. Mirage Wolf actively disrupts the village's efforts to identify werewolves, making it harder for role revealing roles to provide accurate information

Role name: Whisperer

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: base role of bell-ringer

Ability: Last Will and Silent Message

Description: Ability 1: Last Will Uses: Once, after death Details: After the Whisperer dies, it can choose to send a message to a living player (up to 7 characters). Ability 2: Silent Message Uses: Once, while alive Details: The Whisperer selects one player to send a secret message to (up to 20 characters). The message appears at the start of the next day and the Whisperer's identity remains concealed. The message can be used to share information or coordinate strategies.

Motivation: The Whisperer adds a unique layer of strategic communication to the game and can be used well as a regular villager or as a converted/coupled Player. You only have two Messages per game, which means you have to think carefully about who to give the message to. The werewolves want to kill people that can talk to the dead, but in the whisperers case you would want to keep them alive to not pass on information from dead informants/people. We don’t have a villager that can send private messages

Role name: Charmer

Team: other

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of cupid

Ability: Charm

Description: The charmer can charm up to two players. The charmed players are converted to the Charmer’s team, changing their win condition. Charmed players retain their original abilities, similar to instigator and cupid. They do not die together, but they stay charmed when they die. If the Charmer dies before the charmed players, they revert to their original teams. You can convert the players whenever you desire, but it must be at night. Charmed players are aware of the Charmer's identity and the new shared win condition. The Charmer can only convert two people into his team, if one of the converted players die, he does not regain his charm. If the Charmer dies, all charmed players revert to their original teams and win conditions.

Motivation: The Charmer adds an intriguing dynamic to Wolvesville by creating a shifting alliance structure, where players can be converted to a new team with a different win condition. This role introduces strategic depth, as the Charmer must choose targets wisely to build a powerful team. Imagine saying someone is a “charmy/charmie” or “charmied”

Role name: Stalker

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: Silent Hunt

Description: Each night, the Stalker chooses a victim to follow. If the victim interacts (checks, protect, visits, etc.) with anyone that night, the Stalker kills them silently. Leaving the killed player roleless, like corruptor. If the victim does not interact with anyone, the Stalker kills them instead. If Stalker follows someone who can interact with more than 1 player, the Stalker kills the one they first interacted with. Silent Hunt also bypass protection, except Trapper and Beast Hunter.

Motivation: We thought that the game needed more random killers, especially in the corruptor role tree. The Stalker adds an element of danger and mystery to the game by targeting players based on their actions and getting “punished” by them.

#

6

Role name: Mimic Werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of nightmare werewolf

Ability: Mimicry

Description: This ability mutes the selected player and makes the Mimic Werewolf able to send 1 message using the selected player’s “voice”. The mimicked player only appears as muted to the werewolves, not village. The mimicry bypasses all protection. It can be used twice at night.

Motivation: We wanted a werewolf that could influence the given information. We don’t have a role that can imitate other players, and we know that it can be dangerous, but there are logs and the mimicry is limited to 1 message per mute.

#

7

Role name: Athlete

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of red lady

Ability: Nightly Run

Description: The Athlete can go for a run every night. If the Athlete visits a villager, they will be informed that they are a villager and can continue their run to the next night. If the player is a non-villager, they stop running. The Athlete gets scared and stops running again ever during the night. During their run they cannot be attacked, but if they run to someone that is attacked the Athlete fights the attacker and dies in their place.

Motivation: It's a new red Lady advanced role, that takes advantage of both the abilities from the role tree whilst not being overpowered.

#

8

Role name: Servant

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of flower child

Ability: Loyal Sacrifice

Description: Each night, you can choose a player that you want to serve during the next day. You will protect them the following day and all abilities used on that player will be redirected to you (reveals not included). Attacks that get redirected to you include shots, nightmare abilities, voting, shaman, junior werewolf tag etc.

Motivation: Having a role that can redirect not just votes, but also abilities to themselves makes it possible to be more strategic during the daytime as a flower child advanced role.

#

9

Role name: Sleepwalker

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of red lady

Ability: Sleepwalk

Description: Each night you visit a player during your sleep. If this person is interacting with someone that night (killing, checking, protecting), you passively witness what they are doing. The next day you remember what that person did, and you will be notified of their activities (in chat) the following day. If that person didn’t interact with anyone that night, you won’t receive any further information. As soon as you witness two people’s activity you stop lurking around during your slumbers, stopping the ability. If the person gets killed that night, the Sleepwalker dies along with them. They cannot be killed directly while visiting another player.

Motivation: An Information role that broadly learns their Information, adding another layer of strategy to the game. The Information is laid out in a way that makes you consider different possibilities.

Role name: Leprechaun

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: seasonal role

Ability: • You can gift dead players, but still connected a special gift and a greeting.
• If you gift 5 or more players, you can also receive another special gift

Extra:
• Special item from getting four-leaf clovers is different from special item from gifting 5 or more players. So you cannot receive both of them once.
• You won't receive special items if you already have them
• These gifts are no further effect on the games

Description: You are a villager who only appears during St.Patrick's Day time. At night, you can gift a four-leaf clover together with your greeting to a dead, but still connected player. Players who gifted your four-leaf clovers will receive a special item after the game ends. You can also receive another special item if you gift 5 or more players

Motivation: Leprechaun isn't so different from other season roles much. But the good different feature of this role is that it can be able to gift itself a different gift from other players it gifted before which other season role ideas I've seen have not done yet. It can probably bring players more motivation to play though they are gifted already by this role once, then encouraging players to send more time to play.

Role name: Two-faced Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of junior werewolf

Ability: At night, you can mask two players. If you're killed, the masked players will be bound together in the rest of the game. Then, if one of them dies, the other one dies as well.

Extra:
• Werewolf team can know players you masked after your death.
• Masking can only be done at nighttime.
• You cannot mask yourself nor werewolves.
• If you're recruited by instigator, you can mask werewolves.
• Players will be notified if they are bound, but they won't know who they are bound with.
• If one of your targets is killed at the same time with you, your ability is consumed.
• If solo killers are bound with someone and can manage to be the last survivors beside the player they're bound with, they win the game automatically as a solo killer.
• You cannot be target of grave robber.

Description: At night, you can mask two players. Once you die, their lives will be bound together. Then if one of them dies, the other one dies as well.

Motivation: We want a good new concept for werewolf team that brings us new strategies for bringing other teams disadvantages, but also fun and can be able to create funny moments for players. And we realized that binding players' lives together maybe a good idea. For example, it makes more difficult for protectors to save villagers or making solo killers confused in choosing targets and much more.

Description: During the night, you choose two players to send mail to and you cannot be killed while delivering mail. However, if one or both of the players you send mail to are killed, you will die as well. If both players who receive the mail are either good or evil, you will survive and cannot send mail the following night. If one of them is evil, you will die.

Role name: Ancient wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of wolf seer

Ability: You cannot kill people with your teammates because you are sealed. Every night while you're sealed, you have two Moonstones that you can give to other players. Other werewolves can see who you choose. These stones will be 'link' together and last till the next day. 'Linked' means that the wolves will know the true roles of both players if a stone breaks because its holder dies. A broken Moonstone releases a Sunstone, which the next night will take place of a Moonstone. Sunstones work the same as Moonstones, they can also 'link' with other stones, regardless of which stones are 'linked'. When you give Sunstone to a player, wolves will know their role instantly. Nothing will happen if a Sunstone is broken and you will still receive two Moonstones the next night. If two players receive Stones and no one die, the wolves will know both players'roles the following night. You will unseal that night, but you will be sealed again the next morning. You will transform into a regular werewolf if you are the last werewolf or you choose to resign

Description: Each night, give two players a stone and their role will be revealed if one of them dies. Sunstones are used for giving information instantly which you can get from a broken Moonstone.

Motivation: I wanted to invent an information wolf role when the advanced role of Wolf seer didn't suit me very well. This role can be said to be ''the more you bite, the more you receive information''. Inspired by gemstones that I consider beautiful and charming, it's even better when the names ''Sunstone'' and ''Moonstone'' are attached to it, which sounds very ancient, right?

The main inspiration is the movie 'IT' where the crazy clown have his red balloon as his signature feature. Also, the vibe of this role may include horror moment so it's great when it was inspired by that movie.

If you don't receive any spirits after choosing someone twice, you will die. However, the evil spirit will summon a demon to kill you instantly.

Motivation: Motivatin: I want to create another ways to collect information as a Red lady advanced sine Ghost lady is a protector while Red lady is almost an informer. So this role is an informer as well. The main inspiration to make this role is the bloodchecker, wolves and villager have different blood so by combining all the blood, we will receive information.

Role name: Gangster

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of bandit

Ability: From gangster:

  1. Finding: Infinite uses. Each night you'll check a player to know if they are part of the mafia team. If they are part of it you and the partner will be revealed to yourself. If they aren't, you will kill them if possible.

Motivation: Mainly a role to enhance communication. We felt like a lot of tactics could come from this new role, such as deceiving others (within the game, of course), and confirmations coming from the Eavesdropper.

#

31

Role name: Black Dandelion

#

33

Role name: Stalker

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of sheriff

Ability: Every night, you can choose 1 player to monitor. If that player uses his/her ability on other player(s), the next day you will receive a notification and see who has been affected.

Description: You don't trust others completely, so you investigate the suspicious person yourself.

Motivation: My initial concept was to introduce a role related with the sheriff, detective and mortician. I believe this role holds significant promise as it assists players in identifying fake roles, particularly beneficial for less experienced individuals lacking the skills to discern such issues. This role neither strong or weak, it relying on the player's bravery and intuition. Non-villager roles must exercise caution in their strategies, fostering the development of new tactics.

#

34

Role name: inferno werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of nightmare werewolf

Ability: Torture (Two uses) During night you can choose a player. If that player is dead by werewolf the night you chose, that player won't be able to have the benefits of being dead.

  • Extras:
  1. The benefits of being dead are: Talk to other dead players, being checked by mortican, violinist, sheriff, being revived by medium or ritualist, conjuror won't be able to choose player's role, seer apprentice won't be able to take that player's role (if that role is an informative role)

Description: Twice per game during night you can send to hell the player your team are killing that night. That player won't be able to have the benefits of being dead.

Motivation: There are a lot of roles that can interact with dead people, but there is no counter of that. Shaman counter informative roles, stubborn can counter killer villager roles, but there is no role that counter when someone dies. This role would make being dead be essential to take advantage of the game.

#

35

Role name: Painter

Team: village

Type: advanced role of sheriff

Ability: 1. Painting (four uses) Each night you can cover someone in paint. You can choose the color freely. When someone is covered in paint, at the beginning of the discussion time you won't be able to see what color the player is covered in.

  1. Searching (infinite uses) Each discussion time you can check a dead player. If that player has paint, you will be notified in the voting phase with the colour of the paint the dead player has.

Extras:

  1. Solo killer won't be able to be seen by this role, just because the colour of the paint mixes with the blood.

  2. People who is covered in paint will know they are covered.

  3. Default color, if player doesn't choose, are: Red, green, blue and yellow.

Description: Once per night you can choose someone to cover in paint. Every discussion time you can check a dead player to know if they are covered in paint. You have four colors to paint.

Motivation: This role, on the contrary of all informative roles, checks at day, when any kind of threats can't harm them. Besides, to balance this role, we know sheriff and violinist can find almost all solo killers, something this role won't be able to do in the normal way. Role name: Reversal Wolf

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: Reversal (2x, daytime usage): Twice per game, during the day, select a player to temporarily turn them into a Werewolf. During that night, for any action they performed, it will be counted as a Werewolf kill at the end of the night. Their original actions will be discarded. Players will not know if they are affected by Reversal Wolf when Reversal Wolf first use their ability. If there are 2 or more players that the affected person interacted with, the Werewolf Bite only account for the first player that was interacted and their actions will still be discarded on other players. Reversal Wolf abilities can't affect Solo Killers or other Werewolves. Roles that select but did not perform any actions (Ritualist, Loudmouth, Marksman, ...) will not be affected by Reversal Wolf.

Description: Twice per game, you can select a player to temporarily turn them into a Werewolf at night. Any action they performed will be counted as a Werewolf kill at the end of the night.

Motivation: Though it may sound really strong, keep in mind that Reversal Wolf's abilities can backfire and accidentally kill their teammates. By that, everyone will have to follow the Chief's vote regardless of their roles. After the usage, Chief can no longer vote but still will be counted as a member of the village. If Chief is killed before the voting is over, all of the votes previously controlled by Chief will be canceled. wolffluencer's ability can affect Chief while Chief did not reveal their role or just revealed their role and the absolute vote was not executed yet. After the usage, wolffluencer's ability can not affect Chief since Chief can no longer vote. If there are more than 1 chief in game, upon the first chief's revelation, the remaining chief(s) can't use their abilities until the following day. If Chief is muted by any method (GG, Voodoo ), Chief can't use their ability during the day. Player being voted by Chief after revelation can not vote as players can't vote themselves.

Description: Once per game, Chief can reveal their role and make their vote absolute for that day. After that, Chief can no longer vote.

Motivation: Unlike other Mayor advanced which only can affect a maximum of 4 votes (preacher), Chief can influence the entire village vote but in exchange, Chief can no longer vote in the future. This unique mechanism requires careful consideration and deeply thought strategy in order to perform a flawless execution, yet can bring a huge advantage to their leading team.

Description: Each night you can select a player to “kidnap”, and their role will be revealed to you. Kidnapped players would not be able to talk, vote or use their role abilities, and will die the next day, not being able to access the dead chat.

Motivation: A strategy when playing corruptor is to impersonate the role of the player killed, so we wanted to expand on that to create a stronger role

#

43

Role name: Robber

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: The robber is able to take the role of another player two times per game by “robbing” them. Robbed players will die the next night, and the robber will take their role. If the robber decides not to use the ability, they can kill a person during the night. Notes: - Players who are robbed will not be able to use their role abilities for a day - The robber can use day abilities such as Vigilante and Gunner, but beware that they will be revealed as their respective role (ie. Vigilante, Gunner, etc) which will raise suspicion once the actual player dies. - The robber will be seen as the role they are taking when checked by information roles. - Robbed roles can be revived, but their role abilities will be used due to the robber. (eg. the gunner will have 1 less bullet)

Description: During the day, you can “rob” a player twice per game, the player will die the following night and you will take their role for a day/night cycle. Otherwise, you can select a player to kill.

Motivation: Serial Killer is a very hard role to play, so we decided to modify the role to increase the chance of players winning. This role allows players to use a few boosters along the way to improve gameplay and make solo killers more fun.

Role name: Insomniac

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: Each night, Insomniac can either choose a player to kill or not. By choosing not to kill anyone, Insomniac gain a passive ability that backfire any actions that is considered killing towards them except for village lynching. If Insomniac attempted to kill a player but failed, the passive ability will not be activated. Werewolves can attack Insomniac without the passive ability, if Insomniac has the passive ability, the weakest wolf will be killed.

Description: Insomniac can choose to kill a player every night. If Insomniac chooses to not kill anyone, any actions that are considered killing will backfire the attacker until Insomniac chooses to kill.

Motivation: Though might sound stronger than Serial Killer, Insomniac is really vulnerable when they chooses to kill someone but however, the passive ability compensates the fact that Insomniac can be killed by Werewolves. This role requires careful consideration to either give up the passive shield to eliminate someone or play safe and keep the shield.

#

46

Role name: Infiltrator

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: (Inside the role creative part image due to how long it is)

Description: During the night, you may guess a player’s role. If you guess correctly they will be ‘infiltrated’ with a nanobot to their brain (Bypasses protection aside from jailer/warden/beast hunter/trapper.). If not, you will do a basic attack to them (does not bypass protection.). You may activate a kill switch ability during the discussion phase, controlling all infected player’s votes and chat. They will die at the end of the day.

Motivation: I see that all solo killers have 2 advanced roles aside from corruptor, so why not make a new addition to the corruptor tree? Also, I always see so many people claim d1, making it very hard for evils to claim and causing the game to be more boring, according to some players because of role call. Infiltrator helps with that limiting the number of claims unless it’s necessary giving more claim space for evils and more unique scenarios to happen. This also allows the infiltrator to make a ‘final stand’ which is a very cool concept to me and can cause them to end up victorious. I’ve always imagined that corruptor injected a chip into a players brain causing them to die, which made me come up with this role idea where nanobots inject the brain with a biological virus causing them to follow the orders of the infiltrator.

#

Role name: Arachne

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of arsonist

Ability: Every night you can either choose two players to trap in your webs and bind them together, or kill a player trapped in your webs. Trapping a player bypasses all protection. Killing a player does not bypass protection.

Notes:

  • Arachne can't be killed by the werewolves.
  • Arachne can't be trapped.
  • Trapped players will not know that they're trapped.
  • Trapped players will not know who they're bound to.
  • Binding two or more players together will form a binding web.
  • Up to three players can form one binding web.
  • Up to two binding webs can exist at the same time.
  • If a trapped player is killed, all players in the same binding web will also be killed no matter how they die.
  • If a trapped player would be lynched by the village, they instead will be freed from Arachne's webs, but all the players in the same binding web will be killed.
  • If a trapped player is protected from being lynched (for example flower child), the webs will not trigger.
  • If Arachne dies, all binding webs are destroyed and bound players will be free.

Description: Every night, choose to kill a trapped player, or trap two players (they will be bound together). Killing a trapped player will also kill the other players trapped in the same web.

Motivation: With Arachne being able to bind players, she gives not only herself an advantage, but also her opponents. Werewolves will try to take advantage of this as soon as possible, but they might accidentally fall for Arachne's trap themselves. Arachne will make players think outside of their comfort zone, making team play

Role name: Chainmaker

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of bandit

Ability: - Players won't know that you put them into the chain

  • You can't bypass protections
  • When you kill someone from your chain, they all will still die together

Description: Every night you can select a new person to add to your chain. If one of them die, they all will die together. You have two kills per game which you can use to either kill an outstanding person or to kill someone from your chain. Your goal is it to be the last person alive or to have everyone alive in your chain.

Motivation: The chainmaker was created when we were thinking on what kind of role we could add and we decided on a new kind of solo killer/converted. Kind of a mix between bandit and sect leader, but with a twist to make it different. We think the role could be great due to people not knowing they're chained and being able to cause some mayhem by killing all chained people at the same time and with a win condition similar to sect leader.

We think that the Chainmaker is a very unique and new solo killer role that is able to eventually change the whole state of a game. It is a stategic interesting role as the Chainmaker needs to plan exactly on when and who to kill.

#

  3. Water can expand in player who has already water. Expanded water won't expand.

  4. When a player is dying from electricity, all players around them (up, down, left and right) who has also water will die and those players, if have someone who has also water will also die. (For example, 1, 5, 6 and 3 have water and electrician kills 1. As 5 has water, 5 dies too and as 6 has also water, 6 also dies, but 3 won't die because 2, 7 and 4 don't have water and electricity can't reach 3)

Description: Each night you can pour water to a player or kill a player with water and everyone near that as also water. You can't pour water twice in a row.

Motivation: This role, as being an arsonist, has a different concept just because you must think about who you have to pour water to do a chain reaction. Arsonist can douse every and once he wants to burn, kills everyone who has gasoline. Electrician can pour water and every night that water expands, making a good strategy to make a chain reaction and kill a lot.

Twice per game, you can uncover your target's role. You become a regular werewolf once you resign your abilities or you are the last surviving werewolf.

Motivation: We wanted to create a new concept in getting information of the wolf seer tree. Instead of checking players' roles, it mainly checks interactions of its targets which very useful in lots of situations such as avoiding saved players, killing targets of informers or preparing when a werewolf is checked and much more. However, it's quite passive cause it depends quite a lot on its targets.

If the Archangel dies, the marked player will become Archangel as a replacement (if the chosen player belongs to the werewolf team, this will kill them instead) However, if the marked player dies Archangel will receive extra protection that will protect them from being killed/lynched by villagers (regardless of which team they belong to e.g. werewolves or solo voting) Archangel cannot be killed by werewolves

Role name: Fletchor

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of priest

Ability: Arrow(x1, Discussion) - You can select two players to give an arrow to. During the day, they can shoot eachother. Motivation: Priest currently lacks a crowd control advanced role; Judge requires no lynches, and Marksman is slow to set up. Fletchor is a fast paced crowd controller that can confirm two people arguing. Evils being able to fake it acts as a backfire mechanic and makes the role healthier.

#

86

Role name: Electrocutor

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: Shock(xInf, Night) - You have two bolts to throw at other players and shock them. You can throw both at one player, which instead causes their role to be hidden whenever they die; or throw at two different players which blocks them from any action the next day. Throwing at a previously shocked player kills them.
Extras :

  • Role hiding will work even after you die or get roleblocked.
  • You can't kill a player by throwing two bolts at them the same night.
  • Using both bolts on a player who was already shocked kills them and hides their role the same night.

Description: You can shock two players every night, blocking them and killing them when shocked again or throw both at one player hiding their role whenever they die.

Motivation: We wanted a new Corruptor advanced that splits its abilities in a balanced way. It can be a great roleblocker that can be useful in most situations or it can hide someone's role and claim their role whenever they die. We think this will be fun to play and counterable with skill.

#

Description: Each night select a player, they can't die anytime but if you die they also die. You cannot be protected while having a player selected. You can have up to three knights.

Motivation: We wanted a new Doctor advanced for competitive gameplay that relies on self preservation to give constant protection. It needs to balance the amount of knighted players to not cause huge harm while not getting detected by evils to get significant value. We think this is a balanced source for all teams which can enhance the game.

#

88

Role name: Basilisk

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: Each night, if a player was lynched the previous day, you can awaken and kill up to two players. If you didn't kill, you can bypass protection the next night.
Extras :

  • Not killing includes if you didn't have the ability to kill.

Description: Each night kill up to two players if a player was lynched the previous day. You can bypass protection if you didn't kill the night before.

Motivation: A solo killer that relies on village being aggressive with lynches to get high amounts of kills. Apart from that, the kill speed will usually match a Serial killers since village mostly wouldn't lynch early. The role still has advantage of protection bypass and multi-killing without team reliance if it encourages village to lynch somehow, making it a high skill high value role.

#

89

Role name: Daoshi

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of bodyguard

Ability: Amulet (x1)

Once per game, at day, you can give an amulet to a player. Then, at night, they can use it to protect themselves with another player. If one of them is attacked, the amulet will save them and consumed. Your amulet will be automatically consumed after one night if you're killed.

Extra:
• Players will be notified once they're selected by the player you gave amulet.
• If one of the players is killed by a bypass-protection attack, the surviving player can reuse the amulet to save another player. But it costs one night to set up.
• Once your target uses the amulet on anyone, it can't be replaced.
• If someone is saved by two or more amulets; once they're attacked, all will be consumed.
• If you're revived before your amulet consumed, nothing happens.
• If you die but conjuror takes your role before the amulet is consumed. The consumption of your amulet will be delayed until after one night the conjuror is no longer taking your role.

Description: Once per game, you can give one player an amulet. Then that player can use it to save another player with themselves. If you are killed, your amulet will be consumed after the next night.

Motivation: We wanted to make a role with the concept of giving someone the ability to proactively save someone. It brings daoshi's team good advantages as it can save two players but not itself at the same time. In addition, since the amulet is consumed automatically one night after it dies, it encourages players not to just claim freely. Also, as the amulet can continue to save players one more night after daoshi dies, I think it maybe a good new feature for the bodyguard tree.

If you kill two players in a row then you'll be forced with a cooldown and all hex statuses are removed. The hex status lasts for 2 days.

Short description:
You can hex a player each night. If that player interacts with another player they will be hexed as well. Hexer can kill two hexed players. If Hexer kills two players twice in a row. Hexer will be forced with a one day cooldown and all the hexes disappear. The hex status lasts for 2 days.

Every night you can visit another player and clean their house for a chance to get gold coins. You will receive 2 gold coins from a villager, 1 gold coin from a werewolf, and no gold coins from a member of any other team. You cannot clean the same player's house twice in a row. Once per game you can open your wallet to check how many gold coins you've earned, at the cost of never being able to clean again.

Description: Cleaning lady can visit a player's house and clean it. They get paid one gold coin from a werewolf, no coins from a solo killer or a solo voter and two coins from a villager. Once per game you can open your wallet and look at how many gold coins you've earned.

Motivation: Motivation:
Current Red Lady is kind of underwhelming, you just say 1/2 numbers every day and eventually die for very limited information. This red lady advanced still keeps red lady's visiting mechanic while making the player think critically about not only who to visit and when to check their wallet, but also the information they are presented with after opening the wallet.

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of wolf shaman

Ability: Magic trick 2x. Twice per game during the day select an info role to cast a magic trick upon. the player selected will get false info which will be chosen by you. Examples: You can choose the role seer will see regardless of who they pick, decide if detective sees their chosen players as the same team or different teams, and choose which suspects sheriff and mortician will get if they successfully check. The magic trick will be used even if the chosen player does not generate any info that night.

Description: Twice per game during the day select an info role to cast a magic trick upon. the player selected will get false info which will be chosen by you. The magic trick will be used even if the chosen player does not generate any info that night.

Motivation: Werewolves will benefit from a tide-turning ability that can cause mislynches and deaths of villagers, or this can be used to prevent a wolf from dying. Although it only has 2 uses so using it at the first available opportunity is not the smartest move. It's fitting of an advanced role in this sense - harder to master, more risk but more reward for playing right.

The astral plane causes players within it to be un-interactable, and no longer count towards the player count. They will be able to see day chat, and talk, though their messages will only be visible to those who are in the astral plane, akin to dead chat
Notes:
≈ You may select the same player multiple times
≈ If there are 4 villagers and 3 werewolves alive & not in the astral plane, and you bring a villager into the astral plane, that would result in a werewolf win
≈ Trying to bring players who are attacked (or lynched/glitched) won't work, but won't consume the ability either.
≈ Can select werewolves
≈ A person being brought into the astral plane will be announced

Description: You may bring players into the astral plane, for a full day and night, twice per game. Players in the astral plane cannot interact with the game

Description: You have a shield that can block an attack. Thrice per discussion you can choose to trade your shield with the ability of another living player with your shield for the next 2 phases starting at voting. If you try to swap with a non villager, you'll die.

Motivation: This is a very flexible role that can even be used as an informer even though it's not the main purpose. Early on it might be risky when swapping the ability with e. g. seer since even though the seer is protected, you are not. However later on, when all protection roles as well as your shield are gone, you could swap your ability with seer and you will get info even though seer might die.

  • Solo voters can win if the desired target was redirected to via favors
  • Targets are not notified upon receiving favors

Description: Once per game, during the discussion phase, select 2 players to swap votes against by giving them favors. The first player you select to give a favor will be publicly announced.

Motivation: The role provides a fun social modifier on optimal gameplay, by shifting the optimal vote in a way that requires social prowess to overcome. If village doesn't want to risk anything, they have the option to avoid voting the suspected redirect targets, at the cost of wasting a day, or potentially mislynching. Overall, if played well, the role provides a great anti-momrntum option, similar to the other roles in the Nightmare werewolf family.

99

Role name: Time Traveller

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: Twice per game during the night you may travel back in time and turn the status of a player back to night 1 for 3 full phrases. You can talk to the dead privately at night. You cannot choose the same player twice.

Description: Twice per game during the night you may revive a player for 3 full phrases with their used abilities regained. You can talk to the dead privately at night. You cannot choose the same player twice.

Motivation: Current roles in med tree only allow maximum one player to regain their lives and continue their game, this role here allows two dead player to regain their lives for 3 full phrases to make effective use of their regained abilities to bring advantage to the villagers

#

100

Role name: Vote Swayer

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of flower child

Ability: Once per game you may nullify the required votes to lynch. Your vote count 3 during this

Description: Once per game you may nullify the required votes to lynch. Your vote count 3 during this

Motivation: Sometimes villagers have off players or votes are being split so ending up not having enough votes. This role allows villagers to gain advantage for a day of voting as Vote Swayer is able to triple his vote to turn the tables of a lack or split of votes while the required votes are nullified.

#

101

Role name: Saboteur

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Every night guess if a player will be lynched the next day, you will win if successfully guessing 3 times. Once per game you can halve the required votes to lynch. You cannot guess the same player consecutively

Description: Every night guess if a player will be lynched the next day, you will win if successfully guessing 3 times. Once per game you can halve the required votes to lynch. You cannot guess the same player consecutively

Motivation: It doesn’t have to be voting out a villager role to gain a victory like headhunter. This role makes voting out an evil a potential win condition too which causes villagers to be more aware of a threat outside of werewolves and solo killers which are solo voting.

#

102

Role name: Barista

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of president

Ability: For the duration of any game Barista is in, whoever uses an ability during the night will be unable to vote the next day. Each night, you get one cup of coffee. Every night, you may choose a player to get coffee, which will allow them to vote the next day, even if they used an ability. Coffee cannot be used on the same player 2 nights in a row

Notes:
≈ Werewolves' kill isn't considered an ability, but abilities that are initiated during the day that take effect during the night (Werewolf frenzy, Jailing, etc.) are considered night abilities.
≈ Passive abilities are not considered abilities, unless they activate something (Tough guy protecting himself, or Ritualist changing their target, wouldn't be considered an ability use, unless they saved/revived that night respectively)

Description: Anyone who uses an ability during the night, can't vote the next day. You get 1 coffee cup each night, that you can give during any night to someone, to make sure they can vote the next day

Motivation: The idea behind this role, is that it undermines village's majority... while for President, this means that evil roles are always 1 misplay away from winning, for Barista, it's about coordinating abilities to ensure that the evil votes don't outnumber village's

#

103

Role name: Oracle

Team: other

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of bandit

Ability: Foresee - Each night, you can check a row of four players to see all of their exact roles.
Foretell (Can have 1 alive) - After you checked at least one row, you can also choose one player to become your apprentice, instead of checking a new row. If your apprentice dies, you may not select another.
You can also choose once per day to reveal a player you've checked to all werewolves or to your apprentice. You can do this infinitely.
Sacrifice - Instead of checking a row, you and your apprentice can kill 1 checked player that night.

Description: Each night, either choose a row of four players to see all of their roles, kill a previously checked player, or choose an apprentice to win with you. Additionally, once per day, you can show the role of one checked player to all werewolves or to your apprentice.

Motivation: I thought it could be interesting and unique to have a role in Wolvesville that can learn so many player's roles so quickly, but this is the only information they have and they need to trick the village into lynching and killing every player alive, knowing so many player's roles.

#

104

Role name: Strajist

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of sheriff

Ability: Strategic Advice: Each night, the Strajist can select one player and change the order in which that player uses their ability. This ability can move the order of effectiveness of the selected player's ability ahead of or behind other abilities. The same player cannot be chosen two nights in a row. Secret Insight: Can only be used once in the game. Can learn the role of a single player at night. This information is known only to the Strajist.

Description: Strajist is a special role that can strategically alter the timing of other players' abilities and gather critical information to increase the village team's chances of victory.

Motivation: The Strajist role adds strategic depth and cooperation to the Wolvesville game. This role changes the dynamics of the game by enabling effective use of the village team's abilities and encourages players to think more strategically.

#

105

Role name: Chameleon

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of fool

Ability: Each day, the chameleon can choose to copy the role of any other player in the game for the following full phase. The aim for the role is to win if they lynch the player which has the original role or if the chameleon is killed by a village ability while disguised. Chameleon does not know at any point the role of the selected player.

Description: Each day, you can copy someone's appearance. For the following full phase you will be shown as that role aswell as the player. You win if the player with the real role is lynched or if you are killed with village abilities while disguised.

Motivation: Chameleon adds strategic deception and unpredictability, challenging players to adapt their tactics. By copying roles daily, the Chameleon creates confusion and fosters trust issues. Their unique win conditions encourage creative gameplay, enhancing variety, collaboration, and strategic balance, enriching the overall game experience.

#

106

Role name: Skeleton

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of villager

Ability: Each night, all living skeletons vote on who to convert into another skeleton. This conversion revives the targeted player. All living skeletons will die once one skeleton dies.

Notes:
≈ A player cannot be revived while in skeleton form
≈ If a tie happens, the oldest skeleton alive wins the tie
≈ skeletons have a night chat
≈ all other revivals take priority over skeleton conversion

Description: Each night, you may vote to convert a dead villager into a fellow Skeleton. If one Skeleton dies, all living Skeletons die.

Motivation: A very anti-agression role that serves as a parallel to Forky's status as a "default" role, that changes the game's overall dynamic in mid-late game

#

107

Role name: Wolf wisp

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: ≈ During the night, select a player to kill: If the wolves' kill fails, you attack them. You may do this twice per game
≈ During the day, you may push all night deaths for the following night to the end of the night, disguising all night kills as wolf wisp kills, once per game

Notes:
≈ Ability usage is spent upon failure
≈ wolf wisp's kill has it's own unique message
≈ Anyone who tries to use an instant kill during the Wolf wisp's second ability's duration will get a notification that they were distracted by a wisp, and will take care of the job later
≈ indirect attacks — douse, glitch, etc. — are not affected by Wolf wisp's second ability

Description: Twice per game, you can try to kill someone independently if the werewolves' kill fails. You may also cause all kills to appear as wolf wisp kills once per game

Motivation: A werewolf role that is heavily agression based, akin to Toxic werewolf, that trades offense for deception.

#

108

Role name: Magnetic wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: Polarize (x1, Day) - Select a werewolf and a non-werewolf to give magnets to. For the next night and day, they cannot use any abilities, cannot be killed by anything other than lynches and will appear as magnetic wolf to all informers, including kill-based ones. Next day, the voting will be mandatory and it will be publicly declared that they are the only lynchable targets. If a non-werewolf gets lynched, you can kill a player instantly bypassing protection.
Extras :

  • Mandatory vote will trigger on the day of lynch.
  • Outside killing sources like couple death will still kill the players.
  • You can polarize yourself.

Description: Select a werewolf and a non-werewolf to appear as you and be roleblocked while being immune to every attack. During the day, only they will be lynchable. If the non-werewolf gets lynched, you can instantly kill a player.

Motivation: A creative and well thought out role that can frame, protect, manipulate votes and kill like its base role. Village can and has to use social deduction only and not abilities to figure out the evil. It can offer a lot of potential value and new playstyles. It might seem overpowered at first, but it is balanced as it requires a werewolf to work and can backfire if not thought out well. We think this role will create new strategies and encourage deducing which is a primary thing the game currently needs.

#

109

Role name: Ballerina

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of detective

Ability: Ballet dancing (xInf, Night) - You can choose a player to be your dance partner. At the end of the night you will receive exactly three targets : one target having the same aura as the dance partner, one having a different aura with the dance partner and one who used an ability on the dance partner. You won't know which target applies to which information. If no one used an ability on the dance partner, you will appear as a target.

Description: At night; select a player to see three players which one has a different aura with them, one has the same aura with them and one used an ability on them. You won't know which is which.

Motivation: A unique informer that can find aura based info and ability tracking on three people which can be really efficient, but it has to be deduced to make value. We think this will be a high skill high value informer which would be a healthy addition to the game.

#

110

Role name: Nimble werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of junior werewolf

Ability: You can select up to two players. When you die, the players that you have selected will lose their role abilities for the next 2 nights and days, but only if they were in the village team.
All werewolves will see who lost their abilities and who didn't. You can switch your selections in any moment of the game.
Also, at any moment of the game you can select which werewolf role you will appear as after your death to everyone.
Notes:
If other werewolves (Nightmare, Voodoo...) tried to block abilities for the same target Nimble werewolf already did - abilities of other werewolves will not be consumed.

Description: After your death two villagers which you selected will lose their abilities for 2 next nights and days. You can choose as what werewolf you will appear after your death to everyone.

Motivation: This role will be a good addition to Junior werewolf tree. Nimble werewolf trades ability to kill 1 player after death and affect anti-villagers for 2 two d&n roleblocks after death. So you would usually want to die faster than other werewolves same as Junior.
I think that this will be a funny role to play as same as any other Junior tree role.
Non-villagers can also fake claim roleblocked because Nimble werewolf can fake its role after death - meaning village will not know when real Nimble werewolf died and this role can also use it for false sense of security for villagers (for example appear as Berserk).

#

111

Role name: Dagger Master

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: Bunch of Daggers
Each night, you can kill a player with your daggers. The dagger you use will change every day, following this cycle:

  • Normal Dagger: No special abilities.
  • Camouflage Dagger: The role of the victim will be hidden if killed successfully.
  • Piercing Dagger: The attack bypasses regular protections.

Notes:

  • Regular Protections include everything except jails, traps and visiting.
  • If you are roleblocked during a night, the cycle will continue to move.

Description: Each night, you will have a different dagger to kill players. The cycle is: a normal dagger, a dagger that hides the victim's role and one that bypasses protections.

Motivation: It's a very versatile solo killer that has to adapt to the situation of the game. You need to calculate who you should kill taking into account which dagger you have and when will you have it back.

#

112

Role name: Monk Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of alpha werewolf

Ability: Ecstasy
Once per game, at anytime, you can go into ecstasy. By doing this, your role will be revealed to everyone, but you will be unkillable for the next 4 phases. When the effect ends, you die.

Notes:

  • Phases are Discussion, Voting and Night.
  • The current phase in which you go into ecstasy is included: used during day 1 voting will make you unkillable for day 1 voting, night 2, day 2 discussion and day 2 voting, and you will die at the beggining of night 3

Description: You can go into ecstasy to become unkillable for the next 4 phases. However, you will die when the effect ends.

Motivation: Inmortality gives space to lot of strategies since you can dodge a lynch, command publicly, bait traps and ensure some extra votes/win condition for a longer time. However, while this role can extend their life time like other roles in his branch, it has the drawback that village doesn't need to waste a second attack on you, making it high rish / high reward.

#

113

Role name: Extractor

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of beast hunter

Ability: Select 2 players during the night, if either is attacked, you will kill them instead, showing two roles, their real role, and a masking role. Killing a player with this ability reduces the ability use by 1 per kill. If a killer kills a player selected, the weakest wolf or the solo killer alive that has not already been shown as a masking role will be shown as the masking role. The killer with the masking role will now count towards the win condition of the player you killed, but remain in the same team. If all members of a killer team has already been shown as the masking role, your ability will not work and hence not be consumed. Extras: Solo voters count toward the village win condition. Explanation on win conditions counts: If there are no solo killer win condition counting players, and more than or equal werewolf win condition counting players than villager win condition counting players, werewolves win. If there are no solo killer or werewolf win condition counting players, the villagers win, even if there are people in the werewolf or solo killer team alive. If a player with the solo killer win condition is the last one alive, the player who originally had the win condition wins. If players have win conditions of roles that tie the game when they are the last one alive, a tie is formed.

Description: Place 2 tags on 2 players during the night, which are consumed upon use. If a killer tries to kill them you kill them instead, and the weakest killer unaffected by your ability will now count towards the killed player's win condition.

Motivation: This like flagger are more flexible with abilities, but only attacks the win conditions of other players and not the player intentions themself.

#

114

Role name: Apprentice Mage

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: You are a novice mage with the potential to wield powerful magic. During the discussion phase, you can enchant a player, causing them to be revived during the voting phase. However, due to your incomplete power, the resurrected player will die at the end of the following day. You have two enchantments, but you can only use the second one after the first enchanted player has been revived. You cannot use both enchantments on the same player, nor can you enchant yourself.

Description: Revive a player during the discussion phase to be resurrected in the voting phase, but they will die at the end of the next day. You can revive a second player only after the first has been revived; you cannot revive the same player twice or revive yourself.

Motivation: It would be exciting to have multiple revival abilities in a game.

#

115

Role name: Plague

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of arsonist

Ability: Every time a player is NOT killed by the Plague, you gain two charges. Select a player at night to infect them, consuming one charge. The first time a player is infected nothing happens—but has the potential to infect up to two other players that has interacted with that player in any way that same night. During night phase, if there is at least one infected player, the Plague gains the option to attack up to two infected players. Infecting and attacking bypass all protections. When all living players are infected or all other roles that has an ability to kill has died, you gain an infinite amount of charges of Infection. Gain one charge every time the Plague kills two players.

Description: The Plague is a solo killer that infects players and others that interacted with that player, at which it gains the power to kill up to two infected players in a night.

Motivation: This solo killer has the flexibility to choose whether to kill players immediately, or wait until they infect all players to gain an infinite amount of charges to easily wipe out the entire village itself. It can go for multiple strategy considering its attacks bypasses all kinds of protections.

#

116

Role name: Wolf Merchant

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: Merchandise/Night phase - Whenever the strongest or weakest werewolf dies first, you gain one charge of Merchandise. Consume one charge to attack another player yourself at night phase. You cannot vote with the werewolves to attack. If you are the last standing werewolf, you double your count to your win condition, regain the ability to vote to attack, and discard all your remaining charges. // - Your attacks do not bypass any sort of protection and will die when attacking a trapped player. - When you have chosen a player to attack during night phase, it will notify the werewolves in the werewolf chat of your target. - Unturned Werewolf fan and a Cursed are not considered part of the werewolf team. - Werewolves attack first, before Wolf Merchant. - Other werewolves are aware on who is the Wolf Merchant is attacking. - If the strongest werewolf and the second strongest werewolf dies in ascending order, the Wolf Merchant gains two charges for the death of two.

Description: The Wolf Merchant gains an attack charge whenever a specific order of werewolf deaths occur, guaranteeing a trade for the death of a werewolf. If it becomes the last werewolf alive, it loses all its attack charges and double its count to its win condition.

Motivation: - Wolf Merchant exists to trade another werewolf's death for another villager's life, as a way to advance its team closer its win condition while also giving it a chance to save its team from a lost. It could be used against multiple roles such as the beast hunter which can harm the Wolf Merchant when given the chance, avoiding scenarios where the village has the upper hand.

#

117

Role name: Magic Child

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: base role of seer apprentice

Ability: Rise (x2)
Twice per game, you can make all dead players rise and can be able to vote with others. Votes of dead players are hidden.

Extra:

  • Dead players are still dead. They can only be able to vote with others and nothing else.
  • Dead players can't be voted
  • During shadow, votes of all werewolves including dead ones are still doubled.
  • When you use ability, the required votes will be set up depending on the formula all alive players plus all online dead players, then all divides two and round the value to the unit.
  • If mayor and preacher reveal their role and die, their votes will not be reset to 1 if you use your ability.
  • Wolffluencer can influence their dead target's votes if you use your ability.

Description: Twice per game, you can make dead players rise and can be albe to vote. Votes of dead players are hidden.

Motivation: I like the mechanics of interacting with dead players of some roles such as seer apprentice, the medium tree, etc. But I realized that there's no actual roles for dead players to interact with alive players itself. Those roles interact them directly instead of letting them do something. That is why we decided to create this role with the mechanic of letting dead players do something else besides chat with each others and watching the game, with the concept of making them be able to vote (like in the assassin convention game mode). It can encourage them not to out the game after or as soon as they die and bring new strategies and meta. In addition, actually, the reason we choose seer apprentice as an advanced role is we feel that seer apprentice really needs to be an advanced role of one role more similar to it than bodyguard-a protector.

#

118

Role name: Inventor Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of alpha werewolf

Ability: Once per night, twice per game revive a dead player to appear as a Robot Wolf. The revived player remains in the dead chat and can't vote or speak with alive people still. The Robot Wolves count towards the wolves' win condition and can be killed by any normal means. The player revived as a Robot Wolf can't be revived by med or ritualist while they are alive as a robot wolf.
• Conjuror can't take the role of the player while they're alive as Robot Wolf.
• The Robot Wolves deactivate when Inventor Wolf dies.
• When a Robot Wolf dies the role goes back to the original role.

Description: Twice per game at night revive a dead player to appear as Robot Wolf, the player stays dead but the Robot Wolf can be killed by any means and counts for the wolf win condition while alive. The dead player can't be revived until the Robot Wolf dies.

Motivation: We wanted a wolf role that utilized the wolf win condition in a new way and was able to block other revivers without being too strong.

#

119

Role name: Pickpocket

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: At night pick two players to steal their vote for the next day's voting phase. Those two players may not vote but you will have two extra votes (those votes will be secret). You will have those extra votes as long as the players chosen are alive that day. When choosing a player at night who has already had their vote stolen previously they will die that night.
• The killing can be protected against in the same way as Serial Killer's kills.
• Stealing the vote from players can't be protected against.

Description: Choose two players at night who won't be able to vote the next day giving you two additional secret votes. The second time a player is chosen at night by your ability they will die.

Motivation: We wanted a solo killer role that could mess with players' votes and thought that the Pickpocket theming could fit well in the game.

#

120

Role name: Carpenter

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of bodyguard

Ability: During the day put a house on two adjacent players. This will protect both of them from one attack but the people inside the house can still attack each other. Both people will know they are in a house together. When either of the players with the house is attacked once, the house breaks and another one can't be built for two days so there will be one night of vulnerability.
• If a werewolf is in a house with someone else they will need the majority wolf vote (or win a tie vote) in order to attack the other player.
• The Carpenter can place a house on themselves
• The house can be moved to any two adjacent players during the day and still be active at night unlike Beast Hunter.

Description: During the day choose two adjacent players who will protected at night. Those two players can still attack each other at night.

Motivation: We liked the idea of a role utilizing bomber's mechanic of having players adjacent to each other while also being a fun new protector that can gain a little bit of info.

#

121

Role name: Executioner

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: Capture(x4): you can capture another players during discussion time, making it impossible for them to vote or talk to villagers during voting time, they can only talk to you while you listen. Execute(x2): You can execute a captured player, which will prevent the village from voting that day. You can only capture one player per day. Villagers cannot vote for captured players. If a player is capture by more than one executioner, those executioners can still capture and that player both loses one capture.

Description: You have 4 times to capture another player during the voting phase, not only that you have 2 times to execute the captured player.

Motivation: A role that can "jail" another player during the day.

#

122

Role name: Wizard

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: during the night, you can select two players to curse. cursed players cannot see the chat and use their ability for one day/night in case their ability is night use, casting a curse on the same player who have already was cursed will kill them and hide their role upon death once per game you can steal your victim's appearance

Description: WC: Being last survivor

Motivation: we're doing a wizard that can curse

#

123

Role name: Necromancer

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: Twice during the game choose a player to revive for the next 3 days/nights (if they revive at day they will be alive for the day, next night, and next day). After 3 days/nights they will die again. You can talk to dead players at night and appear as Necromancer in the dead chat. While the revived player is alive they can’t be killed by any means.

  • If the Necromancer chooses to revive a player during the day the player will revive at the start of next night, if they decide to revive at night the player will revive at the start of the next day.

Description: Twice during the game choose a player to revive for the next 3 days/nights, after which they will die again. While the revived player is alive they can’t be killed by any means.

Motivation: We thought a new medium advanced role would be fun that could revive multiple people but not be too strong.

#

124

Role name: Sage Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of junior werewolf

Ability: At night choose a player and if they’re lynched the next day then the wolves can kill 2 players the next night. This ability has 2 successful uses.

  • When the Sage Wolf is successful with their ability during the next wolf kill they and the rest of the wolves will vote to kill normally and the Sage Wolf will also choose someone on their own to kill.
  • The kill from Sage Wolf will work as a regular wolf kill with protections such as Beast Hunter and Astronomer.
  • If the Sage Wolf is role blocked on the night they would use the extra kill then it gets wasted instead.

Description: At night choose a player and if they’re lynched the next day then the wolves can kill 2 players the next night. After two successful uses it can’t be used again.

Motivation: We wanted to create a wolf role to give the wolf team a bit more power while also having a role that had to guess who was going to be lynched during the day.

#

125

Role name: Wizard Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of guardian wolf

Ability: Twice during the game at day the Wizard Wolf can activate its ability to make it so that no wolves can be killed by any means on the next night.

  • When a killing role (such as Marksman) tries to kill a wolf on the night the protection is active, they will waste their resource (in the case of Marksman they will have one less arrow but won’t die).

Description: Twice during the game at day the Wizard Wolf can activate its ability to make it so that no wolves can be killed by any means on the next night.

Motivation: We wanted a role that had a similar ability to Astronomer’s protection for the wolf team, making it a unique wolf protector that doesn’t protect from voting.

#

126

Role name: Cat Burglar

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of vigilante

Ability: Twice during the game the Cat Burglar can choose an evil role in the role list to utilize their role’s ability. For example they choose Wolf Seer, they can see one role and kill someone that night. Solo roles can be chosen too.

  • The killing can be protected against by any protection.

Description: Twice during the game the Cat Burglar can choose an evil role in the role list to utilize their role’s ability, generally to kill someone at night.

Motivation: We wanted to create a village killer that kills in the same way as the evil roles in the game.

#

127

Role name: Charmer

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of arsonist

Ability: Choose 2 players at night, if at night you have at least 2 people charmed you can instead choose to kill any one player. If the Charmer is voted out during the day and at least half of the votes are from charmed players, the Charmer won’t die and instead the charmed players will.

  • If there’s not enough people left in the game to charm, the Charmer can just kill them.

Description: Choose 2 players at night, if at night you have at least 2 people charmed you can instead choose to kill any one player. If the Charmer is voted out during the day and at least half of the votes are from charmed players, the Charmer won’t die and instead the charmed players will.

Motivation: We wanted a solo role that could survive a lynch and kill others instead, which makes it very unique.

#

128

Role name: salad maker

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of sheriff

Ability: each night, you can invite 5 people (not including yourself) to your salad restaurant you can either make: - a regular salad (vill and solos love regular salads, but the wolves dont) - a salad with minced wolf meat (solo KILLERS (including insti and recruits) love this, but the wolves and vill dont) for all your customers that night at the end of the night, the game will tell you how many players love your salad example: 3 out of 5 customers love your regular salad or None of your customers like your minced wolf meat salad! your customers might get bored of your salads, so after you invite the same person to your restaurant for 2 days, there will be a 1 day cooldown until you can invite the person back to your restaurant. if the werewolves fail to kill a person for one night, they will be vegan werewolves for one night. by being vegan werewolves, they will like regular salads (they wont like minced wolf salad tho)for 1 night.

Description: A salad maker who loves to make salads for the village. Everyone in the village loves her salads, except for the werewolves. To keep the werewolves away, the salad maker introduced a new menu for her restaurant, minced wolf salad! It doesn't seem like the village likes the new menu either, only someone psychopathic would like eating minced wolf salad!

Motivation: a new way to deduce werewolves and solo killers. i think it would be fun to deduce this way than single checking

Role name: Governor

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of mayor

Ability: Governing Votes
During the discussion phase select to turn the village into a polling station, anonymising the votes and placing the votes into a ballot secretly. Your role is revealed whilst doing so. Your vote will be doubled only for this one voting phase and can see who 3 other players are voting for. You will be voteblocked during the voting phase of the next day.

Notes:

  • Flower Child, Pacifist, Wolf Pacifist, Guardian Wolf and Jelly Wolf’s vote protection abilities can all counter Governor’s ability.
  • If there’s no vote/mislynch, this contributes to Anarchist’s ability.
  • Judge can still use their ability in the case of no lynch/tie during the polling station voting phase.
  • Shadow Wolf will be unable to activate its shadow if Governor activated its ability and vice versa.

Description: Once per game turn the village into a polling station, anonymising votes. Your role will be revealed upon activation, and your vote will be counted as double only for this voting phase. Also you can see who 3 players are voting for. However you’ll be voteblocked in the next voting phase.

Motivation: This would be a really unique role because Governor can coordinate their double vote alongside the village especially with knowing who other players are voting. This also could scare non-villagers by not knowing whether their vote is being seen. Although this seems unbalanced, with one usage and a voteblock, Governor is balanced and its ability has never been suggested before so would be a compelling Mayor advanced.

Role name: Wolfformer

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: base role

Ability: Transformation (1 use). In night, choose a wolf. This may include Wolfformer themselves. The chosen wolf will be granted an ability to instantly transform their role to any werewolf role, with their ability fully refilled and ready to be used. Ability: Death pact (1 use). In the first day, choose a player. Whenever this player is killed by any means, Wolfformer will be revived at the start of the upcoming night upon the player's death, as long as they didnt die for longer than a whole day. Note: - Transformation is unrestricted aside from it not being shadow wolf and its advance version of the role. - All role restrictions is still in effect (eg: Voodoo wolf can't mute the same player 2 times in a row, etc) - After transforming, all usage of the wolf's old role's ability in the current night will be forfeited.

Description: Once per game at night, transform a werewolf, including yourself, to any werewolf role Additionally, on the first day, choose a player. If they are killed within a day after your death, you will be revived in the upcoming night.

Motivation: Honestly, I think it's probably a good time to make use of the role mechanics. Advance role allowed you to change your role to a certain extend, but only at the start of a game. But what if you can change your role during the middle of the game? With the addition of death pact, you cant have no impact whatsoever in the game, and its up to you to decide to be a team player, or being a completely selfish player

Role name: Lucid Werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: base role

Ability: Boost (3 use) - Choose any werewolf at day (excluding Shadow Wolf and its advanced roles). The next night, the selected werewolf will be able to use their target based abilities on one extra target, or recast their abilities again on non target based ability (they get an extra ability usage). Notes: - If used on Blind Werewolf, they can check three players.

Description: Thrice per game, at day, choose a werewolf. They will be able to use their target based abilities on one extra player the upcoming night, or use their non target based ability an extra time.

Motivation: Often when playing Wolvesville, the choice of needing to target one player, or when to use an ability, always leads to a scenario where ability usage diverges into a hard choice. For example, should you put Seer into a deep sleep to prevent information, or Medium to prevent a revive? These choices often led to significant consequences that could very well lead to a bad outcome from the game. With this, you can avert the problem of facing a lose-lose situation, while assisting the wolves's strength directly for an early lead.

Role name: Operative

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role

Ability: ㅤ

  • Lethal Dose: Once per game, during the day, you can shoot a player with a lethal dose of poison. This player will die at the end of that day. If you day before the day ends, the player will not be killed.
  • Private Investigation: During the night, you can inspect a player. At the beggining of the following day you will be informed whether that player has killed last night or not. You can use this ability two times.

Notes:

  • Poisoned players will be warned that they have being poisoned, but no one else will.
  • Poisoned players can continue to use abilities and vote before dying.
  • Private Investigation interactions are the same Spirirt Seer's check have.

Description: You have one lethal douse that you can apply to a player during the day so that they die at the end of it. Additionally, you have 2 checks to see if a player has killed during the chosen night.

Motivation: This vigilante advanced is meant to be a less provable and more counterable version, which can have a great impact in the game if you survive long enough. The instant bullet is replaced by one that will take longer to kill, meaning you don't have an insta-provable kill and werewolves can take advantage of a little time to stop you or win the vote. In exchange, you win a more powerful informative ability that can turn you into a pseudo-informer.

Role name: Palmer

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: On the first night you can give a job to a living person (can be changed at any time before you die) they will not know that they were given a job. You can talk to the dead at any time every night. When you die, the person you gave the job to will know that they themselves have been given the job, they can still use their function as normal, and they can revive a dead person except for you and the wolf and solo. However, they cannot talk to the dead. If wolves or any solo faction is given a job, no effect will occur. If the person you passed on dies, you can still change to another person.

Description: You can pass your work to someone you want and you can chat with people who died at night. When you die that person will receive your job and can revive a person (however they cannot revive factions other than the villagers and cannot chat with dead people like you).

Motivation: Motivation: Wanted to create a more special role for the Necromancer and not just the necromancer and its advanced role of allowing people to be revived.

#

Role name: Healer

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: base role of forger

Ability: Healer can give a shield to a player twice per game, but they can only give the shield on night two. The shield can prevent a player from being killed (by solo killer/werewolves/villager with killing abilities) at night or lynched by the village during the day; this will result in consuming the shield. The shield will stay with a player, although the healer has died. Healer can only give out the shield twice per game.

Description: On night 2, the healer can give a shield to a player; this shield will prevent them from being killed or lynched once. The shied will stay with them even if you die. Healer can give shields to players twice per game.

Motivation: From anime and games where they have healers that can protect their team from being killed (in any circumstances), I came up with the idea of ‘healer’ This role is unique and different from other roles because one shield can prevent a player from being killed by werewolves, solo killer, or the village with killing abilities, as well as protect them from being lynched during the day.

Motivation: A werewolf role that can see protection, allowing the werewolf to know if the villager is protected or not.

#

Role name: Cookie Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: (2x) Tough cookie
When a wolf dies you'll gain a crumble. Crumbles are passive. Once you gain two crumbles you can kill a player individually from the wolves. Notes: - unturned werewolf fan, sorcerer, turned lurker counts for the rage

  • You won't be able to look at the wolf chat once you kill someone.

  • You kill at the end of the night. Your kill priority is higher than the wolves.

Description: You have a crumble bar. Every time a werewolf member dies, you gain one crumble. At night, costing two stacks of crumble points, you can decide to do an extra attack that is equal to a werewolf attack in strength but your priority is higher. If you attempt to kill an RK you'll die. If you attempt to kill a protected player two times you'll also die.

Motivation: We wanted to make a shadow advanced which is equally balanced to the role and interesting and has lots of possibilities. The shadow tree is about killing but we wanted to add a different twist to it.

#

137

Role name: Ninja

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: You can throw a knife each voting and night phase. When there are at least three knives thrown, the soonest player that you you targeted will die at the end of the night. When there are 2 players left excluding you, knives thrown will immediately kill the remains at the end of the next night.

Extra:

  • If that soonest player is either protected or cannot be killed, your knife will be removed and you have to throw your knife on that target again.

Description: Each night and voting phase, you can throw a knife at a player; As soon as there are 3 knives on the board, the soonest player that was targeted with the knife will be killed at the end of night. If there are only three players on the board including you, knives will kill the other players immediately at the end of the next night.

Motivation: Ninja can perform everything perfectly and potentially gain extra kill each night, but in exchange Ninja lacks the ability to control who he really wants to kill immediately. But retrospectively, it makes your kills harder to predict by protectors.

Role name: Dual-Faced

Team: other

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: You will be assigned to two random teams in the game. You and your teammates will not know each other if they are werewolves, lovers, instigators, or villagers. You can send two anonymous messages to two different players each day. You will appear as both teams to the Gambler, Detective, and Violinist. You cannot be converted to another team. Win Condition: One of your two teams wins. If you are killed by one of your own teams, you can no longer win with that team.

Description: You belong to two random teams and can send two anonymous messages each day. If killed by one team, you can no longer win with that team.

Motivation: A role can belong to 2 different factions at the same time right from the start of the game, increasing the player's chances of winning.

#

Role name: Clockmaker

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: 1) Once per game, you can make a clock so that you can turn back time to revive one player, and they will be revived the next day. However, the clockmaker cannot talk to the dead, but they can still see the chat. 2) While the clockmaker is making a clock, they cannot be killed until the clock is given to another player. This means that after they turn back time, the clockmaker will die on the following day. However, if the clockmaker hasn’t been attacked at all, they will stay alive. 3) If attacked by bandits, etc., this will convert the clockmaker into their team.

Description: Once per game, you can make a clock to revive a player. Until you revive a player, you cannot be killed. Once you revive a player, if you have previously been attacked, you will die the following day instead.

Motivation: Watching Dr. Strange, an idea popped into my head because I like his ability. Although it’s not exactly time-travelled, it makes me think of a role that can revive a player with an extra ability where they will not die until they revive a player.

#

140

Role name: Pharmaist

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role

Ability: You have two protections - You can see each night if a player is being saved by a protector.

Description: Twice per game, you can select a player to protect him, your protection is not consumed if the protected person is not attacked. Additionally, you can see which players are saved from an attack during the night.

Motivation: We wanted a role similar to that of the night watchman

#

141

Role name: Thespian Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of wolf shaman

Ability: Performance - 2 usage/Day phase

  • When activated in day phase one usage of Performance is consumed, in the following night phase all werewolves will be disguised as a random living non-werewolf role possible; up to the equal amount of random non-werewolf players are disguised as all the living werewolves depending on how many werewolves were disguised. This lasts until the end of the following day phase. If any of the disguised werewolf has died in any circumstances, the player disguised as that werewolf will have their role revealed to the werewolf team.

  • The werewolves are aware which players are disguised and who's disguised as their role.

  • The disguised non-werewolf will not be revealed when the werewolf flees the village while disguised.

  • Wolf Seer, Blind Werewolf, and the Sorcerer remains unaffected by the Thespian Wolf's disguise ability.

  • There is no possible indirect method with the ability for the werewolves to figure the roles of the disguised players.

Description: The Thespian Wolf has the ability to disguise all living werewolves, to the role of an equal amount of living non-werewolf players. Disguising those selected non-werewolf players; as the werewolves back.

Motivation: - This werewolf has the capability to protect the entire werewolf from informers, avoiding detection and potentially clearing them early on for a safe flight towards end game. With the limited usage of ability, players must be cautious and strategize their plan into working around the ability. The Thespian Wolf brings various strategies that can be formed around with it, that may aid the werewolves in their victory.

If Werewolf bites Heavy Sleeper during their sleep, the weakest wolf will have their role revealed. Heavy Sleeper can't enter deep sleep during the first day and night

Description: Once per game, Heavy Sleeper can enter a deep sleep in which they can't perform any actions for 1 day and 1 night. During the sleep, if any player interacts with Heavy Sleeper, their roles will be revealed to the Village.

Motivation: This role brings a new aspect to the Loudmouth branch, instead of acquiring information through deaths, Heavy Sleeper can still remain alive and still acquire information, which can be crucial to the village.

#

Role name: Smuggler werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: base role

Ability: Smuggler werewolf can smuggle an item twice per game This item can be bullets rocks forgers shield and swords and other usable items. He cannot use these items when he smuggles them If the person he is trying to smuggle is protected Smuggling fails (only be done in nighttime if you smuggle night 2 You wont able to smuggle night 3)

Description: Smuggler werewolf can smuggle items from a villager (like vigi and marksman)

Motivation: This role might be a great dynamic for the werewolves to counter items given out by forger and also disarming vigi, gunner and other roles with special items Without killing them.

#

144

Role name: Wolf Vandalist

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of guardian wolf

Ability: You have two spray cans. You can use them on a player for the next voting phase to protect them, however you lose your vote in secret for that day. The ability can only be used in the discussion phase.

Description: You have two spray cans. You can use them on a player to not make them lynched for the next voting phase at all. You will lose your vote the next day, but privately. The ability can only be used in the discussion phase.

Motivation: We wanted to make a role that trades protection for no vote, making it a risk for a reward, which is a fair trade in our opinion.

#

145

Role name: Dark Psychic

Team: werewolves

Aura: good

Type: base role of sorcerer

Ability: Dark Psychic and select a player during the day/night and they will be informed whoever interacted with the selected player at the end of the day/night. Twice per game, during the day, Dark Psychic can activate their second ability and share their information to the Werewolves for the next day/night. Dark Psychic shares the same disguising mechanism with Sorcerer. Dark Psychic can resign their abilities and convert to Regular Werewolf, or when Dark Psychic is the last Werewolf alive, they will automatically resign.

Description: Dark Psychic can select a player every day/night and discover who interacted with the selected player and the end of the day/night. Dark Psychic can activate their second ability and share their vision with the Wolves for one day and one night. Additionally, Dark Psychic shares the same disguising mechanism with Sorcerer.

Motivation: Similar to Wolf Seer having Blind Wolf as their variation, and also accounting to the fact Sorcerer does not work well as an advanced role of Wolf Seer since their information sharing mechanism is different, Dark Psychic is born. Also, Dark Psychic requires logic to be able to deduce the roles that interacted with the selected player.

Role name: Butler

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: You can kill a player every night. If it's successful, you can either dispose of the body or clean the crime scene. If you choose to dispose of the body you'll select a role to appear upon your victim's death. If you choose to clean the crime scene you'll be disguised as your victim.

Notes:
You cannot be killed by the wolves.
You have to do a normal kill before disposing the body

Description: You can kill a player normally every night. If it's successful you can choose to dispose of the body or clean the crime scene next night. You can select a role to appear upon your victim's death. If you choose the other option, you won't be a suspect to (morti, ss, sheriff, Vio) for only that night. You'll be disguised as your victim if you clean the crime scene.

Motivation: Corruptor and illusionist focuses on survivability. However, this survivability might not be enough for some players so this is why we created this role. Players now can disguise themselves or show their victim as a specific role which may enchance their faking. But there are a few cons of it:

  • You have to kill normally (like a serial killer) before performing a special kill every time while corruptor and illusionist can perform special kills every time.

  • Your disguise isn't perfect. Remember that you will disguise as your victim so if you kill a ww, you'll be seen as ww to informers. Your disguise can't protect you to every informers at the same time. You can be seen by informers like aura, det etc. while can't be seen informers like ss, sheriff or morti or vica versa in a night."

Description: When the wolves kill a player successfully you can select two players next to them to reveal their role.

The Tourist will die regardless of any circumstances if the Tour guide dies. After the Tour guide has survived for two consecutive nights, your role is revealed to everyone and your votes are tripled while disabling your ability to vote in the following day phase.

  • The Tourist will not die if the Tour guide dies from fleeing.
  • If the Tourist dies and gets revived, they will no longer have a Tour Guide.
  • The Tourist is not protected if the selected player is protected.
  • The Tourist will not die if they select an instigated or a sect player.
  • The Tourist will die if its Tour guide becomes converted. The cause of death will differ base on the converted role.
  • You cannot be a headhunter's target.

Motivation: This role allows the players to carefully select the players they can trust that would live for a long period of in-game time, that will survive and keep you accompanied in the long journey for your long-awaited comeback. With this ability, players must be patient with time and the people to blend in with the crowd to avoid detection and being a target of the evils.

Earth Wolf can't bury a player when another player is being buried.

Description: Twice per game, Earth Wolf can bury a player, temporarily making them dead during the next two phases. Earth Wolf will lose its ability upon being the last Wolf alive.

Bounded players will all die if any of them dies. Additionally, you can choose to drown a player that you have already grew plants on them

#

Role name: Late Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of guardian wolf

Ability: Leave it for later
In the discussion phase, select to activate your ability so that the voting phase of that day will be delayed and take place during the next discussion phase. The delayed voting phase will take place before the normal voting phase of that day, and ability uses cannot be activated consecutively. You can use this ability twice.

Notes:

  • Abilities that affect voting (Flower Child tree, Guardian Wolf tree, Judge, Anarchist) cannot be used/will be ineffective during the delayed voting phase.

Description: During the discussion phase, you can delay the upcoming voting phase so that it will take place in the next discussion phase. This action can be done twice.

Motivation: Late Wolf has a simple ability by focusing on delaying a lynching, which can be effective by preserving werewolf lives rather than direct protection so is an unique and interesting twist on current vote protection roles. Although this may seem weaker than directly protecting a werewolf from a voting, two uses makes Late Wolf more versatile and more game-changing because it requires more thought to be put into activating the ability in comparison to a guaranteed save, whilst still being balanced and particularly useful. In summary, Late Wolf provides a fresh and different role in the tree and would be exciting and fun to play in Wolvesville.

#

Role name: Pactleader Werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of alpha werewolf

Ability: Pactleader werewolf's ability make every other werewolves vote the particular target of their choice in the night time. Also it has the ability to send messages to the whole werewolf team

The charmed player will die at the start of the voting phase with their role hidden until Enchantress dies, and the Enchantress will know the aura of the charmed player upon the selected player’s death. Depending on the aura of the victim, the Enchantress will have different effects the following night:

  • If the aura was Good, you will not be killed by village attacks, but werewolves can still kill you.
  • If the aura was Unknown, attacks on you will delay your death 3 phases.
  • If the aura was Evil, you will not be killed by non-village attacks, but village's can still kill you.

Notes:

  • Disguise abilities all affect the Enchantress’ ability.
  • Enchantress can be killed by werewolves unless protected or if the Enchantress killed a player with an evil role.

Description: During the night, charm a player who will die at the start of the next voting phase with their role hidden until you die. However you know the charmed player’s aura and will be immune the next night from: village attacks if their aura was good, non-village attacks if their aura was evil, or a three-phase delayed death if their aura was unknown.

Motivation: Enchantress offers more flexibility than other serial killers by having three potentially useful effects by making the aura of its victims causing immunity of some sort. Enchantress needs to think about who to kill more than any other solo killer does, because some effects depending on the auras are more favourable than others at different stages of the game. Therefore Enchantress is thought-provoking and exciting to play.

Role name: Selfless Werewolf

Agent doesn't know the team of the visited player and the visited player does not know they were visited by Agent. Each player can only be visited once. Night Watchman can't view Agent's protection.

Description: Each night, Agent can visit a player to protect them if they belong to the village. Visiting a player for the second time will kill them and reveal Agent's role to the village. Each player can only be visited once.

Additionally, Agent has the power to kill someone upon their second visit but in exchange, their abilities will be discarded from then and they will have their role revealed.

Motivation: Fraudster Wolf can seriously bring some confusion and mess to the village when their ability is used accurately. Such game-changing and twisting roles don't exist much within the game or rather predictable these days, with Fraudster Wolf appearance, this role can bring the twist to a new level and require the village to think more logically and carefully.

Description: Paranoid Villager Has the ability to get ready for a attack to save himself But it comes with a cost as he might kill himself in the process if he isnt attacked

Motivation: The Paranoid Villager introduces an element of risk and reward to the game. Ability: Name: Edgelord Wolf Aura: Unknown Team: Wolves Role card comp: Advanced of Nightmare Werewolf Ability: HALT! The Edgelord wolf howls, putting a stop to all abilities used by villagers following day. The ability will still be consumed (eg reveals) and will instead be delayed until the next day. If the ability user is killed, the ability will be cancelled. Edgelord wolf will be alerted of all abilities used during the day, including the person who used the ability and who they used it on. They can cancel one of the abilities used that specific day.

Description: A ferocious wolf who puts a halt to abilities used during the day. These include shots, reveals and etc.

Motivation: This wolf has a unique vibe to it, and it will be a good adv for nmww. The current ones are all worse than the base itself.

Role name: Optician

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of sheriff

Ability: Glasses
During the discussion phase, give glasses to a player (including yourself). If anyone votes that player by the end of the voting phase, they will be informed about the number of players per team who voted the player at the start of the next day.

Note:

  • Shadow Wolf and Wolffluencer's respective vote manipulations don't affect the information gained.

Description: Give glasses to a player each night. If this player is voted by anyone next night, they will know how many players from each team voted them.

Motivation: Optician incorporates the primary aspects of both Sheriff and Violinist by acting as a pseudo protector (like Sheriff) towards the voting because of the consequences it can have on non-villagers, even though it still incorporates the information being about teams of players which links this role to Violinist. Optician is a balanced and fun informer that provides elements of vote protection if played right, and makes the voting phase have much more importance by not just determining the fate of villagers but also can reveal information that can shake the course of the game.

Role name: Samurai

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of beast hunter

Ability: After the first night, at nighttime you can select one player, that you would like to protect this night. If that player is attacked at night, you will save their life and also bind to them for the rest of the game. If the player, you are bound to is attacked again, you, the player and the strongest attacker will die. After you've protected somebody, you won't be able to protect other players. However, the binding effect will be removed if you die before the player that you protected earlier dies. Extras: -if a already protected target is killed by any village ability/lynch only the target will die and you lose your ability -Strongest attacker means strongest ww in strength for example sorc and ws tree in most cases. The basic idea of this is to not make a wolf like junior or kitten die so that's it more painful for wws. -If rk and wws attack the before protected player at the same time a ww will die.

Description: After the first night, at nighttime you can select one player, that you would like to protect. If that player is attacked at night, you will save their life and also instantly bind to them for the rest of the game, unless you die. If this player is attacked again, you, the player and the strongest attacker, which can also be a solo killer, will die.

Motivation: Even though this role does not have as much protection potential as the other roles in the bh tree, it poses a great risk to the ww/rk team since even the rk will be hurt and it also wont kill a jww or kww. This will make the attacker think twice before attacking the same player again, while the role still can be countered.

Role name: Tic-Tac-Toe Killer

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: other type

Ability: (Infinite; Daytime): Choose a player against that you will play a Game of Tic Tac Toe at nightime. The loser will die. If it's a draw, nobody will die. You have a second life that will protect you from any killing abilities and lynching. You cannot be killed by the werewolves. The game randomly chooses whoever will make the first move. Notes: -This role only appears in a special crazy gamemode called "Tic-Tac-Toe Killer" -A player has 5 seconds to put their symbol. If they run out of time they automatically die. -The role is not affected by roleblocks like nightmare or jail -Everyone will see who is playing the game of Tic-Tac-Toe against the Killer at night -Night Phases are 45 secs, discussion phases are 45 secs and voting 30 secs -In a 1v1 scenario a draw will make the person Tic-Tac-Toe-Killer plays against die. -If the Killer is tagged by jww/split it will consume one of his lifes.

Description: You're only available in a special crazy gamemode. At daytime, you can select a player you want to play a game of TicTacToe against. If you win against them, they will die. You have a second life that can protect you from lynching and other killing abilities. You cannot be killed by the werewolves.

Motivation: I would love to see more gamemodes that involve special roles that wouldn't actually fit into the regular gamemodes. I feel like this gamemode would especially be intense, since everyone will see that you currently play against the Killer and celebrate with you if you manage to win.

Role name: Cooper

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: ㅤ

  • Casks: Twice per game during the night, the Cooper may select a player (dead or alive) to build a cask for. They will be marked.

  • Aged Like Wine
During the night, choose to activate this ability, causing the following:
    • Living players with casks will be temporarily killed until the next next day
    • Dead players with casks will be revived, but will die following a use of their ability

Notes:

  • The Cooper cannot communicate with the dead
  • Revived players with no abilities or have already exhausted their uses will remain alive
  • Roles with multiple abilities will die if long they any
  • A temporarily killed player will act as a dead player - but cannot be revived (any other abilities concerning the dead still work)
  • A temporary killed player's role is not revealed
  • The discussion and voting phase are separate phases

Description: Twice per game at night, build a cask for a player. They may be dead or alive. During the night, you may revive all dead players with a cask, who will die when their ability is used and temporarily kill living players with a cask until the day following the next.

Motivation: A Medium branch with plenty of strategy involved. Instead of having to prioritise information roles to revive, the Cooper may instead choose to be aggressive and 'kill' evil roles. Or revive stronger villagers since it does sacrifice it's ability to talk to the dead and to keep a revived player alive.

#

165

Role name: Hermit

Team: other

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: Recluse (Passive) - You win if village loses. At the start of the game you are assigned a villager with an unknown aura. Their ability won't function when you're alive and they will know they are being targeted. You will know their role but won't know who they are.
Guess (xInf, Night) - Each night you can guess two people to discover if they are your target or not. If you guess right, you will veil yourself and that player : you will steal their appearance and both of your roles will be hidden upon death. If that player gets lynched, you will get all their abilities and unknown players won't be able to vote the next day.
Extras:

  • You will know which one of the two guesses is your target.
  • You will get the starting use of an ability, not the leftover abilities of your target.
  • You will not die to backfiring mechanics if you attempt to kill a villager.
  • Your role will be revealed upon using a public ability.
  • You will still be able to vote after your targets lynch.

Description: You will be assigned an unknown villager and their abilities won't work. You can guess two players and know if they are your target or not. You will steal their appearance and hide both of your roles if dead upon finding them. If they get lynched, you will get their abilities and unknown players won't be able to vote for a day.

Motivation: A new type of third party role that has to help non-villagers. It forces the village to decide if one of two players are evil or to continuously keep the Hermit alive and render a strong villager useless. Village mislynching will cause a huge impact which forces them to use social deduction properly which is healthy for the game.

#

166

Role name: Dog Trainer

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of doctor

Ability: (2x) After the first night, at nighttime you can place a dog on a player that will stay at their place for the next 2 nights. You can only place one dog per night. The next night. You can place another dog, so that there are 2 dogs on the field. If a person that is protected by dog is attacked the dog will die, the player will survive and the attacker won't be able to attack this person the next night. If one dog dies you can only have 1 dog at the field if the last one dies you can't place any more dogs. You cannot place a dog on yourself. Notes: -Same protection priorities as doc (Siren, arso etc. will bypass protection) -Only the team that attacked the player who is protected won't be able to attack them the next night For example if wws attack 7, they won't be able to attack them the next night, but sk will)

Description: After the first night, at nighttime you can place a dog at a player that will protect them for the this, and the following night. If the player that has a dog is attacked the dog will die, save the player and the attacker won't be able to attack this person the next night. You can have multiple dogs on the field.

Motivation: This role can protect up to 2 people per night, however it can really successfully protect a maximum of 2 players per game meaning it won't be too strong. I feel like this could be a lot of fun, since you have to really think about how you will use your dogs because they will remain at the same position for 2 nights so it might be less flexible that the other roles of the doc tree.

#

167

Role name: Inventor

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of loudmouth

Ability: After your death villagers will be so upset that they lost an Inventor who made their lives easier, so they will start a second voting phase next day after the first voting phase passes.
Notes:
Second voting phase time will be 30 seconds.

Description: After your death there will be a second voting phase next day.

Motivation: This role will help players who are not sure about making decisions about who to reveal/kill as other Loudmouth tree roles.
Also, this role is a good advanced role of Loudmouth. Adding a second voting phase will be sometimes better than reveal/kill at night because village will have more information, but it can also be worse since evils can use it to misslynch or overpower village in voting with votes.

#

168

Role name: Hypnosist Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of wolf shaman

Ability: Switch - During the day, select two players. The two players will have switched roles when checked during the night.

Description: Hypnosist uses his role switching abilities to trick the villagers whilst they try to get information.

Motivation: Its a strong shaman advanced which isnt as broken as confusion, plus its a different approach than usual so its interesting.

#

169

Role name: Phone Seller

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: 1) During the day you can choose a number between 1 or 2 players to give your phones, if you choose:

  • 1 person: You and the chosen person will have a private chat for the next night and day.
  • 2 persons: You can listen the private chat between the chosen persons for the next night and day.
  1. You have 2 emergency calls that you can give out, it will save the chosen players from a night attack as long as Phone Seller is alive. You can give the emergency calls in the following ways:
  • 1 person: You can directly give it to the person you are having the private chat with.
  • 2 persons: You can directly give it to one of the two chosen players to have the private chat with.
Notes: If Jailer/Warden jails a player with a phone, they cannot use their device in jail for that night and werewolves with phone can still use their own chats.

Description: Every day you can select to have a private chat with 1 player or listen to a private chat between 2 players for next night and day. You can give protection from one night attack twice per game to a player with private chat besides yourself, protection will work when you are alive.

Motivation: This brand new role idea gives new chances for slow paced players to shine, having communications that will make the game funnier and for some easier without ruin the balance and the core of the game by making the game somewhat more slowpaced.

Role name: Paladin

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of beast hunter

Ability: Guard
During the night, choose two players to protect from attacks. If there is a non-villager in your selection, the non-villager will be voteblocked the following day. You can successfully save up to 3 players.

Notes:

  • If there is only one guard left (of the three possible protections), and both of the Paladin's targets are being attacked, the player selected first will be the one defended.
  • If both guarded players are non-village, both will still receive the same effects; no add-ons.
  • Guards will not be consumed if visiting a non-village player (unless they are attacked by non-village).
  • The number of votes necessary to lynch a player will take into account the reduced number of voters available for that day (due to the Paladin).
  • Nor the Paladin or Village will be notified if someone has their vote disqualified for the upcoming vote phase.
  • Those that cannot vote due to the Paladin can still show who they're technically voting for--it will tally up w/ other votes. Irregardless, their vote be ignored in the final count.

Description: Every night select two players to guard. If at least one of them is not a Villager, that player will wake to a foggy screen and not have their vote count the next day. You can successfully defend up to three players, including yourself!

Motivation: Apparently even the clients of a protector are distressed by their presence! Allowing diversity in ways to play, the Paladin can be used as both protection and/or a means to tip votes in the Village's favour if in a bind.

#

171

Role name: Drunkard Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of nightmare werewolf

Ability: Drunken x2- You drunken an informer during the day, all roles will be shuffled for them during the night so they receive false information.

Description: Being high must be troublesome.. Except the informers are the ones who are being negatively affected so they receive wrong info.

Motivation: This role has a pretty cool concept. Its a solid nightmare advanced that isnt bad unlike storm and swamp either. It will be a perfect advanced for it.

#

172

Role name: Frosty Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of guardian wolf

Ability: Frozen: Once per game, used at night and is activated on the beginning of the next day, can be used on anyone.

Description: You have ability to freeze a player for a day including your teammates. Frozen player will be protected from any kind of direct attack, lynch and killing abilities but also won't be able to talk, vote and use ability for a whole day. The ice breaks after successfully saving the frozen player from lynch or the player is attacked.

Motivation: Frosty Wolf can save their teammates or themselves from any kind of attack for a day until ice melts

#

173

Role name: Impatient wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: Once per game at day, you may secretly speed up discussion, voting and night time. while activated, all wolves will participate in a secret vote. if nobody was lynched that day. the player that the wolves voted secretly will be lynched as well. in the following night, all players except wolves can only decide their ability for 15 seconds

Description: You are impatient about everything and wants to speed things up and make things faster.

Motivation: this role will test player's attention to the game as a whole and how fast can they react if everything went too fast. if the test failed, the wolves will be on an advantage during the day and even at night. so the distraction will be good enough to help wolves survive the day and make the village and killers do reckless decision with a very limited ammount of time

#

174

Role name: Stray

Team: other

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of cursed

Ability: On the first night, pick a player to be your owner, you will only win if they win at the end, you do not learn their team however, and they also do not learn they have been picked by you, if they die, you will flee the village, dying with them.
Notes:

  • You can't be converted to become a zombie

  • You can't be converted to a sect

  • If chosen by the bandit, you will be killed instead.

  • You may not be instigated

  • If you do not pick a player to be your owner the game randomly picks one for you.

  • If the picked player dies on the first night the game picks another random person for you instead.

  • If you are chosen by the cupid to be a couple, your target is chosen instead of you, but if your target was picked as the other lover, the couple is successfully created with you and your target.

Description: The Stray picks a player on the first night to be their "owner", you will win if they win, but if they die, you will flee the village and die with them.

Motivation: The Stray is supposed to be a more social role, as, instead of playing for a team, you're trying to play for a person, basically having to support what they say or just follow their lead, while also trying to read what team they're playing for so you can play for the same team.

#

175

Role name: Hungry Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: Blood Hunt; can be used once per game. Activated during day time, works at night.

  • All wolves can still do regular attack when blood hunt is active, but only Hungry Wolf can choose who they want to eat seperately from wolf attack. Wolf team also can see who Hungry Wolf is attacking and there will be notification in wolf chat that Hungry Wolf activated ability just like Berserk Wolf.

Description: Once per game, you can activate blood hunt and choose who you want to eat by yourself other than regular wolf attack. However, wolf team will not be able to kill anyone next night.

Motivation: Can be game changer in 3 villagers vs 1 wolf or 4 villagers 2 wolf situations. Just like berserk, player needs to think and choose the best time to activate their ability.

#

176

Role name: Meditator

Team: village

While being attacked, your meditation gets disturbed so you dont gain a shield, nor does your protection on anyone else count.

Description: You're a monk using his spiritual energy to protect the village from attacks enacted by the evils.

Motivation: This role passively earns protections and is very strategic unlike most roles.

Role name: ShapeShifter

Ability: The game assigns you a target that’s a villager and assigns you as your own target at the same time. /the target can not be converted by the death of the kitten, zombies or bandits, sect etc.
/Medium reviving their target is a negative for shapeshifters winning condition and makes the winning condition last one more day(second one where you shapeshift)

Description: Shapeshifter has two targets, one assigned by the game the other being themselves. They can shapeshift into their target if they die by a different cause then lynching.

Motivation: To make a voting role feel more fun to play and fasten the gameplay a bit if the shapeshifter’s target dies night one.

#

Role name: Phoenix

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of arsonist

Ability: Once a night, the phoenix can protect someone with its blue flame and burn them with its red flame. If the protected person is attacked, the phoenix loses its power to protect and kill. If the Phoenix is killed, it will rise again from its ashes at the beginning of the next night and has one more chance to live.

Description: Once a night, the phoenix can protect someone with its blue flame and burn them with its red flame. If the protected person is attacked, the phoenix loses its power to protect and kill. If the Phoenix is killed, it will rise again from its ashes at the beginning of the next night and has one more chance to live.

Motivation: Giving a killer the ability to kill one person per night and revive once is very powerful. to balance this out, he must first protect someone. that he can lose his abilities when this protection drops gives the wolves a chance to balance out the protection a villager gets and win against a killer.

#

179

Role name: Beekeeper

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of bodyguard

Ability: Bee Aware
During the night select two players to give bees to. If one of the players is attacked by the other player(‘s team) that night, they won’t be killed but just stung by a bee, which both players and Beekeeper are aware of. Beekeeper is aware of one of the two players being stung/saved from an attack, but not which player. If a player is stung by a bee twice, they’ll die and you’ll be roleblocked the next night.

Notes:

  • If both players attack eachother, both will be stung and Beekeeper will be notified about that.
  • Beekeeper can choose themselves as one of the two players.
  • Jailer’s bullet, Warden’s bullet, Astronomer’s meteor, Witch’s poison, Forger’s sword, all solo killing abilities, all types of conversion abilities, werewolves’ nightly kills are affected by Beekeeper’s protection.
  • Conversions count as attacks.
  • Being stung once doesn’t trigger Tough Guy’s ability or Stubborn Wolf’s ability, but being stung twice does.

Description: At night select two players. If one of them is attacked by the other(‘s team), the attack will fail and the attacked player will be stung. You and the selected players will be aware of this. Two stings will kill a player and roleblock you the next night.

Motivation: Beekeeper is a role that welds in the crucial aspects of all the Bodyguard tree: it provides the second-chance protection aspect of Bodyguard by having the first attack against a player fail and just stings once instead, whilst having an aspect of information-gaining about it by failing attacks depending on the attacker’s team and the attacked player’s team which isn’t as strong as Tough Guy’s role reveal but can preserve lives more successfully, overall being balanced and fun.

#

180

Role name: Deciever Werewolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role

Ability: Interactions with seer roles: For example, the wolf swapped 16's and 1's role, 1 is unknown and 16 is evil 1 will show as evil and 16 as unknown. The same works as seer, but the difference is they see the roles. Spirit seer would see 1 as red and gambler as not village / werewolf.

Description: Each night, the Deceiver can swap the roles of two players.

Motivation: I think its balanced between the base-role because shaman can make others look like a werewolf, and theres trickster who takes roles.

#

181

Role name: Head Marker

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Make your target get voten out, if they die in a way other than lynch, make yourself lynched by others.

  • Nothing happens if you get lynched while your target alive, there will ne notification in village chat when your target dies in a way other than lynch, you and your target cannot be turned

Description: At the start of the game, you will receive one target to make them voten out, if target dies from another way except voting, then you will try to make yourself voten out instead. You win if you make your target voten out or get voten out by yourself after your target dies.

Motivation: Head Marker can help players who doesnt directly wants to win with village when their target died and we thought combination of hh and fool would be a lot fun to play.

#

182

  • Cannot use multiple snakes same day, reveals are private, directly looses ability to venom if tries to kill villager.

You can choose a player to let your snakes bite the player during day time, If the player is not villager; they will die due to venom, but if the player is villager; they will survive from the venom and their role will be revealed to you but you lose remaining snakes to venom players.

Motivation: Can kill up to three non villagers, but also has change to get 0 kills by trying to venom a villager. With this, Snake Tamer can decrease randoming bullets and reveals in vigi tree.

This message will make it clear that Lycan is turned. Before getting turned Lycan is evil/different from every other player to all info roles.

Description: A solo role who eleminates and shapeshiftes to its attacker.

Motivation: Lycan will bring completely new change to the Wolvesville. Players will be more careful to who they are attacking and will make people to avoid attacking without any info + lycan can be a beginning of new game modes based on this role and its interractions.Lycan is getting attacked by: Werewolves: weakest ww will die and lycan will take its role Serial Killer, Cannibal, Evil Detective, Arsonist, Siren, Alchemist,Corruptor,Illusionist will die and lycan will take their roles. Any village killing roles(gunner,witch,marksman,priest....) will die and lycan will take their role. Special interactions with other killing roles.Lycan may accompany cursed and cupid in random other category. After getting turned lycan becomes part of that team and does not have any special new abilites. Lycan inherits roles which means their used abilities will not be refreshed. So if gunner shoot Lycan, Lycan will have 1 bullet as gunner, After berserk's death, lycan will not have any new frenzy.

#

184

Role name: Scarecrow

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: Dispatch (xInf, Night) - You can dispatch a crow on a player, making them spooked to talk or vote. Spooked players can select a player to pass the crow to or die at the end of the day with their role hidden. If you receive a crow, you can dispatch one more crow each night. You can win if all alive players have a crow.
Extras :

  • Crows won’t disappear until their passed player is killed.
  • Players receiving a crow at the end of the day won’t instantly die, rather will be spooked tomorrow.

Description: Each night you can dispatch a crow to a player, making them afraid to talk or vote. They can either die with their role hidden or pass the crow to a player. If you receive a crow, you can dispatch an additional crow at nights. You win if all alive players have a crow or you’re the last player alive.

Motivation: A solo killer that highly relies on trust. Players can either sacrifice themselves and have their role hidden or keep a crow in play potentially helping the scarecrow win. It also allows teams to voteblock other teams and use crows for their advantage, creating trust issues, but giving to a scarecrow might make them lose instead. We think this will be an influencing and strong role in the right hands and encourage deduction more.

#

185

Role name: Evil Seer

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: At night, select a player to view their role, you will also attempt to mark this player Alternatively, you can kill as many marked players as you want, ignoring protection. The mark can be protected against, but viewing the role is guaranteed Roles that change info such as wolf shaman will affect you.

Description: Each night you can check a player to see their role and mark them, or kill as many marked players as you wish ignoring protection.

Motivation: A solo role that can see who they're about to kill and has the ability to choose the exact roles they kill a lot better, at the cost of less killing ability especially if they find an important role early game - this role will shine if they can survive a few days but has few options early game, including being unable to kill night 1

#

186

Role name: Chef

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of seer

Ability: At the begining of the game each category (strong and regular Villagers, killers, other, Werewolves and Voting roles) will be assigned a type of dish(Meat, Vegan, Sweet, Spicy, Cheese or Seafood) the Chef doesn't know which category has which dish.
Each night they can check two people for wha type of food they will order.

Description: At the begining of the game each category will be assigned a type of dish. You don't know which got which. Each night you can get orders from two players to see what type of dish they want.

Motivation: The role requires player to deduce which dish is wich category, the info role is strong, but requires lots and lots of skill to be used properly. What makes the role unique is that the gameplay of it changes every game so it doesn't feel repetitive.

#

187

Role name: Cursed Pianist

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: base role of alchemist

Ability: -The Cursed Pianists can invite three players to be their audience, which lures them into an ‘obsessed state’. During the discussion period, the Cursed Pianist can choose to kill one player, and the other two players will temporarily fall into a ‘confusion state’ which makes them unable to use their abilities that night. On the next night, the Cursed Pianist can choose one more player that lures them into an ‘obsession state', and on the next day during the discussion period, two players who are already in a ‘confusion state’ will then die (work similar to that of Alchemist), and switch a remaining player into a ‘confusion state’ -There are two states: the obsession state, which happens before killing any players, and the confusion state, which happens after killing a player.

Description: Each night, you can invite one player to be your audience, and during the discussion period, you can choose to kill one player, and another two players will fall into a confusion state, which prevents them from using their abilities. During the discussion period on the next day, players in a confusion state will die

Motivation: Motivation comes from an anime called ‘Your Lie in April’ and a pianist named Kousei Arima. This inspired me to create the ‘pianist’ identity. I believe that this role will add a different experience when playing solo killer because the cursed pianist has a unique ability where they can ‘prevent’ players in confusion state from using their ability at night, unlike other solo killers.

#

Role name: Gecko wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of alpha werewolf

Ability: When a wolf is killed without using all its skills, you will be converted to their role at the beginning of the next day. You will return to being a gecko wolf at the beginning of the following day.
Extra: If 2 wolves are killed at the same time without using all their skills, the gecko wolf will change to the wolf that was killed the earliest. The young wolf and the split wolf that did not select a target when killed will be counted as unused skills. If the gecko wolf is killed while converting, it will be displayed as a gecko wolf.

Description: You become the role of a wolf killed without using all its skills the next day and revert to being a gecko wolf the following day.

Motivation: It would be amazing if there were a wolf role that could use the abilities of a dead wolf, ensuring those skills don't go to waste.

Role name: Vampire

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: other type

Ability: Convert one player each night into a vampire each night.

notes:
≈ If the player is not a villager nor on the village team, the conversion fails
≈ Vampires do not know who converted them, know if their conversion succeeds, nor have a night chat.
≈ Vampires can be voted out
≈ Vampire conversion is stopped by protection
≈ if 3 Villagers, 3 Vampires, and 3 Werewolves are alive, then that is a winning game state for werewolves

Description: You can convert another villager into a vampire each night. Vampires, while immortal, don't count as living players

Motivation: A high risk high reward role, revolving around maintaining village's high player count

Role name: Nova

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of arsonist

Ability: The Nova collects energy for every night it survives. If it dies, it explodes and takes one player per energy with it. If he blows himself up during the night, everyone dies, only he himself survives and dies the next night. he must use the energy on other players, if the player dies, he receives the energy again. If he chooses no one, the players around him die.

Description: The Nova collects energy for every night it survives. If it dies, it explodes and takes one player per energy with it. If it blows itself up during the night, everyone dies, only it survives and dies the next night.

Motivation: another killer for arsonist

#

Role name: Gunsmith

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: Every night you earn 1 bullet. To kill, you will need to use bullets. 1 to kill normally. 2 hides their role. 3 bypasses protections and hides their role. you may also not kill and instead make a bullet to give you an additional bullet.

Description: Every night you earn 1 bullet. To kill, you will need to use bullets.

Motivation: This is very similar to canni, but unlike canni, this sidegrade will help Gunsmith protect themselves by helping them killing hard roles or hiding roles. that way they have a chance to deceive rather than killing multiple players at same time.

#

192

Role name: Engineer

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of witch

Ability: Twice per game at day, you may build one of 3 three buildings. each building can only be built once. the following night, you can choose someone to place your building. the building will only effect the next night after its been placed. if you didnt decide to place your buildings in time, your building will be wasted. Buildings: - Trap: The first player that interacted with this, will die. only the weakest wolf dies but killer is not effected - Forcefield: The player is protected unless anyone interacted with this and they instead will be protected, if happens, the original player will die due to overload - EMP: any player that interacts with this, their ability will be cancelled unless its a killing ability or evil killing.

Description: build buildings and give to a player. any player that interacted with this player will be given an effect

Motivation: interaction with other players has not effected many people in terms of gameplay, so im making this role to change that. making players to be aware about who they interacted will be good to counterplay wolves or killer that are about to win. but making sure that not all wolves and killers will be effected. villagers can also be effected. so theres need to be a guess about how players will interact at night

#

Role name: Engineer

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: base role

Ability: At night time you can select two players to place your gadgets on them. Gadgets will need time to set up, so they will start working only at the start of the next night. Only 2 gadgets can be active at the same time. You cannot place gadgets on different players unless you move them.
Gadgets will protect players from werewolves special abilities, excluding werewolves kill at night.
You get to know which player was visited by a werewolf. After a successful protection, all gadgets will be consumed and you can place them at night again.
Notes: Storm werewolf, the entire Guardian wolf and Alpha werewolf trees are excluded from interactions. (Cannot write interactions for other wolves here because it would require be too many letters, but I'm sure it won't be hard to think of them)

Description: New kind of protector that can only protect from negative werewolf abilities (excluding night kill) with many various unique interactions. You can set up 2 protections that will start working only at the start of next night, if you want to move them or if you protected successfully - you will need to set them up again.

Motivation: This new class of protectors gives more gameplay styles in both evil and village teams by inducing more deduction and different usage of abilities, especially from the ww team, giving more fun and unique games.
Engineer is good for this tree because it's different and balanced, it trades flexibility for consistency and more amount of protected players compared to Chainmaker (his advanced role).

#

194

Role name: Chainmaker

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of Engineer (custom role)

Ability: At night you can choose a player to place chain trap on them, that player will be protected from all kind of negative abilities from werewolves for the current night and following day, excluding their regular kill at night. After first successful block of an ability protection will be consumed and disappear.
You cannot choose another player in the following night if you have saved a player from a negative ability successfully and you cannot choose the same person two times in a row.
Notes:
Storm werewolf, the entire Guardian wolf and Alpha werewolf trees are excluded from interactions.
(Cannot write interactions for other wolves here because it would require be too many letters, but I'm sure it won't be hard to think of them)

Description: New kind of protector that can only protect from negative werewolf abilities (excluding night kill) with many various unique interactions. You can protect one player every night, but not two times in a row and will be roleblocked for one night after successful protection.

Motivation: This new class of protectors gives more gameplay styles in both evil and village teams by inducing more deduction and different usage of abilities, especially from the ww team, giving more fun and unique games.
Chainmaker is good for this tree because it's different and balanced, it trades consistency and more amount of protected players for flexibility compared to Engineer (his base role).

Role name: The Sadist

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of corruptor

Ability: Every day, choose 2 players to jail and 1 weapon type. the following night, jailed may talk and can choose to sacrifice. Both players die if they didnt decide. both or sacrificed die without revealing their role. Twice per game, you can immediately kill one of the jailed. if you kill with the ability their role will be revealed. Weapon Type: - Knife: Sacrifice yourself - Gun: Sacrifice the other instead

Description: 2 players will be forced to decide on who is willing to sacrifice themselves in order to save the other and how would they convince or trust each other.

Motivation: this role represents the torture and the deception about how players would act against each other if they were pit against someone whose teams that they probably dont know and sacrificing themselves. this role is good to depict that and the name itself helps with the theme

#

196

Role name: Rudolph

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: base role of gambler

Ability: At night, Rudolph can send letters to two players: If Rudolph successfully sends letters, this means both players are on the same team, but if letters aren’t successfully sent, this means both players are on a different team, and as a result, Rudolph cannot use his ability for the following night.

Description: At night, you can send letters to two players to see if they belong to the same team; if they do not, the letters will not be successfully sent, and you cannot use the ability the following night.

Motivation: My in-game name inspires me to create this role, as well as my love for Christmas, which inspires me to create this role as a role that isn’t seasonal. Rudolph in this ‘role’ is half human and half reindeer with a red nose. I want to express the cuteness of this role and the abilities that will be useful for the villagers, as Rudolph is loved by many people.

#

197

Role name: Sacrificer

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: Once per game you can sacrifice yourself in the night to revive two villagers. However, you can only revive players who are online; if only one player is online, only that player will be revived. You cannot speak to the dead during the night because you are sacrificing your medial powers and need to save them up, but you can see the messages send there.

Description: Once per game you can sacrifice yourself in the night to revive two villagers. However, you can only revive players who are online; if only one player is online, only that player will be revived. You cannot speak to the dead during the night because you are sacrificing your medial powers and need to save them up, but you can see the messages send there.

Motivation: The fact that two villagers can be revived, but the sacrificer dies in return, offers us many opportunities to play. Especially in the lategame, it can be crucial to revive two strong villagers. All they have to do is be online and stay in the game for a long time. Because the Sacrificer cannot speak to the dead, he cannot pass on any information and cannot tell the dead to stay online.

Role name: Archnemesis

Team: other

Aura: unknown

Type: base role of instigator

Ability: Both archnemesis will be given 3 targets. Two of them are the same players but one is the other archnemesis. The archnemesis must try to kill the other archnemesis in any way. If you do, you will take over the missing role and continue the game as the missing role. If you die, you immediately lose the game. Ability: at night, once per game both archnemesis can check if one of the target is the other archnemesis. If not then the other will know as well.

Description: There are 2 archnemesis in game. And one random role will be marked as "Missing" . your job is to kill the other archnemesis within one of the 3 suspects that were given. if you were succesful youu immediately take the missing role and continue the game

Motivation: I wanted a role that has to do a lot of deduction (finding out which target is the other archnemesis) and no good/main strategy that everyone is used to. This is because of fourreasons: Claiming an info role is a risk of being attacked, You do not know your exact target when claiming an info role Claiming an info role and attacking a target is practically revealing yourself to the other archnemesis It is hard to attack the other archnemesis without claiming an info role

#

Role name: Watcher

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of jailer

Ability: During the day, you can choose a player to put under your supervision the following night! During the night, you can see what the player is doing, for example voting or texting or using an ability. The players selected in the night will see shadows on his screen, but can still play, write and vote normaly. They can also die during the night, but the killer will get revealed to you.

Description: He is watching a select player and see what they are doing in the night . Its like you are Warden and jail someone, just that they have the posibility to do everything they want, as example voting, texting or using an ability. Seer or other Information roles just tell the lurker, that they have watched the player and not the role or the team. If the watched Player is typing the Watcher sees in the chat, that the watched person is typing but not the message.

Motivation: Unlike the Jailer, the observed person can die, but can also act. If a wolf is jailed and does not vote or does not write, the watcher may think that it is a villager. However, if it is a villager who is being watched and dies, the murderer is reported to the watcher in a similar way to the tough guy. This could make for interesting rounds, especially in ranked and sandbox.

Role name: Night Raven

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: ㅤ

  • Misbehaving (Passive):
During the first night, the Night Raven gets three targets. Among the marked players are: Two (2) villagers and one (1) werewolf.

  • Punishment (Passive):
The marked players automatically have a vote placed on them. If two marked players are killed, the Night Raven becomes a villager.

  • Devour (Passive):
At any point, if the vote ties or is undecided between two or more marked players, the Night Raven wins.

Description: You are given 3 targets: two villagers and one werewolf. They automatically have one hidden vote placed on them. You win if the vote ties or is undecided between two or more marked players.

If two marked players are killed, you become a villager.

Motivation: This role has a dynamic gameplay as voting role and puts tension on the village that must vote carefully because they can lose without even fully lynching if they don't get to an agreement

#

201

Role name: Prophet

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Each night, select a player. If this player is a villager, and has their vote on a mislynched villager at the end of the voting phase, you win.

Notes:
≈ Denied lynches (eg. Flower child) don't count towards your win condition
≈ Converted village roles (eg. Instigated Doctor) do not count as Villagers; both players must be alligned solely with village upon the lynch happening
≈ Lurker turned village counts as a villager, even if the conversion happened the night you selected them
≈ You are not told whether the person you select is village or not

Description: Each night, select a villager. You win if that person is a villager that helps mislynch another villager.

Motivation: This is a solo voter woth a heavy focus on social deduction, that changes the voting dynamic to minimize voting, without risking an accidental — or evil-coordinated — no-lynch.

#

202

Role name: Convict

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of fool

Ability: After half of the starting number of villagers have died, you will win upon surviving the next voting phase

notes:
≈ Converted villagers do not count as a villager dying.

Description: You win by surviving the lynch after half of the village has died

Motivation: A survival oriented solo voter that encourages more active gameplay from other parties, while shifting the typical solo voter dynamic from a sudden gambit, to a long con.

#

203

Role name: Godfather

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: At the start of the game, you are assigned 3 targets. At least 1 target will be a villager, and at least 1 target will be a werewolf. If either the game ends before any of your targets are lynched, or all of your targets are instead killed, you win.

notes:
≈ Godfather win overwrites any other win condition met simultaneously, excluding lovers
≈ Upon one of your targets being lynched, Godfather automatically flees
≈ Cannot win while dead
≈ A stalemate tie would count as a Godfather win, assuming the prerequisite is met
≈ Targets do not win with you
≈ Village targets cannot be a role hh can't have as a target
≈ Can't have sorcerer or werewolf fan as a target

Description: You get 3 targets, which include a werewolf and a villager. If none of your targets are voted out, you win

Motivation: A solo voter with a very different focus from existing solo voters, focussing more on supportive logic, akin to that of cupid

#

204

Role name: Charlatan

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Each night, select a target. If this target would be lynched, start a trial phase instead, where everyone can vote whether the person is innocent or guilty. If the target is a solo killer or a werewolf, then you and the player on trial win if the verdict is innocent. If the target is not a solo killer or a werewolf, you and the player on trial win if the verdict is guilty. If you get a losing verdict, the player on trial dies if a guilty werewolf or solo killer, or lives if not a werewolf or solo killer, and the game progresses as normal, with them no longer winning with you. The second time you get a losing verdict, you flee.

Notes:
≈ The additional win condition is not a conversion for the player on trial, but does take priority over all other win conditions
≈ Should the verdict be guilty & the target is headhunter's target or fool, they'd win with you
≈ Cannot select themself

Description: Each night, choose a player to defend if they get voted out, causing a trial phase if they would otherwise be lynched. You and your selection win if the verdict is innocent with a werewolf or solo killer target, or guilty against a target that isn't a werewolf or solo killer.

Motivation: This role shifts the existing dynamics of solo voters by giving you a partner in crime.

#

205

Role name: Pianist

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Each night, guess "Village" "Non village" or "No lynch". Guessing "No lynch" when no lynch happens the following day nets you 1 stored vote; Guessing "Non village" when a non villager gets lynched the following day nets you 2 stored votes; Guessing "Village" when a villager gets lynched the following day nets you 3 stored votes. You may reveal yourself during the discussion phase to activate your stored votes. You win by voting out a villager after revealing.

notes:
≈ Reveal acts like preacher reveal for all intents and purposes
≈ Any villager being voted out while pianist is revealed and alive counts as a winning game state for Pianist

Description: Each night, you may guess what alignment will be voted out the next day to win votes, getting 1 vote for being right about no lynch, 2 for being right about a non villager, and 3 for being right about a villager. You win by revealing your role and using your votes to vote out a villager

Motivation: A solo voter with a strong focus on deductive reasoning, that encourages the rest of the lobby to play experimentally, within reason.

#

206

Role name: Caffeinator

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Each night, give 3 espressos. An espresso gives the recipient +1 vote invisibly. If a villager is voted out with 50% of more of the votes on them being invisible espresso votes, then you win.

notes:
≈ Espressos are not visible to the recipient; they do not know they were selected by Caffeinator
≈ Cannot win on a Cupid/Lover lynch unless lovers already died

Description: Each night, give 3 espressos that invisibly increases the recipient's vote total by 1. You win if a villager is voted out with a majority of votes coming from espressos.

Motivation: A solo voter that, while providing a deductive & destructive tool, with a heavy focus on cooperation for everyone else, thrives from being able to deduce the current game state

#

Role name: Dweller

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of arsonist

Ability: Teleport (infinite): At the start of the game all players receive 2 locks that they can use to lock their locker. Each night you can teleport into someone's locker and kill them if their locker wasn't locked that night. Players can use one of their locks to protect themselves from you only for that night but they won't be able to use their other abilities that night, the lock will be consumed even if it didn't save the player. You bypass any protection other than locks.

Rush(1 use for every successful kill without a rush): You can activate this ability during the day, for the next 2 nights you can teleport into 2 players' lockers.

Extras:
-Locks only protect players from you and not other attacks.

Description: Every player receives 2 locks which they can use to protect themselves from you only for that night, if they use a lock then they won't be able to use abilities that night. Each night without a rush you can attack 1 player and kill them if they didn't use a lock also get +1 use for your rush ability if you successfully kill them, each night with a rush you can attack 2 players.

Motivation: This role's kills can only be prevented through locking lockers, which makes counterplay more interesting. Villagers may take the risk of dying and not lock the door or not use their ability and live without fear.

#

208

Role name: Tomb raider

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of medium

Ability: Mark(infinite uses): Each night you can mark a player. If a marked player was killed in anyway, every mark will be removed and if the player was a villager then you can take their abilities OR their vote AND win condition. However you can only choose each option twice per game.

Dead chat: At day you can view the dead chat. You cannot talk with them but you can see what they said last night.

Extras:
-You still take 1 vote even if the dead player had multiple votes.
-You still can take a role's abilities if they have a infinite use ability(for an example, you can take jailer and jail people).

Description: Each night you can mark a player, all marks will be removed when one of them is killed, if a marked villager was killed you can take their vote AND win condition OR abilities but you can choose each option twice per game. At day you can view the previous night's dead chat.

Motivation: I think it would be cool to have a pseudo protector in medium tree. It can be very useful in different situations like when the village needs a killing ability or more votes and win conditions against werewolves.

#

209

Role name: Ghoul

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of bandit

Ability: Dark spell (infinite): Every night, cast a dark spell on two players. If a spelled player was supposed to die (and is a villager/voting), they survive (fool still wins if lynched) and become their shadow-self instead. Shadows can't use their old abilities. Shadows reform after a full cycle (3 phases) when they are killed and the only way to get rid of them is to kill the Ghoul. You can have 4 shadows alive at once. Shadows can only win with you.

Injure (infinite): Instead of using your dark spell ability, you may injure a player. They will die at the start of the next night.

Protection spell (infinite): At day, you can choose a shadow player who will be permanently killed at the end of the next night. Doing so will protect you from werewolves' and killers' attacks for the next night.

Description: Each night, you can cast a spell on two players that will turn them into shadows when attacked or injure a player which will kill them next night; shadows reform after a full cycle when killed but they will permanently die when you are killed, you can have 4 shadow alive at once. At day you can choose a shadow that will permanently die next night, but will protect you from werewolves' attacks that night.

Motivation: Shadows come back after some time, which requires village to focus on finding the Ghoul. If not quick enough, the shadows may become unstoppable.

#

210

Role name: Rebel

Team: other

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: Passive ability: Whenever a villager was lynched or if there was a tie, you get +1 use for your "kill" ability.

Kill: You start the game with 0 uses for this ability. You can gain more uses for this ability by your passive ability. If you have at least 1 use for this ability, then you can choose 1 player to immediately kill them during the night. You will secretly and permanently get +1 vote for every player you kill.

You win If you are the last player alive.

Extras:
-Your kill ability bypasses protection since it kills immediately during the night.
-Every night you can use your kill ability only once, even if you have multiple.

Description: You start the game with 0 uses for your kill ability but gain +1 use every time the village makes a mistake in the voting. With your kill ability you may choose 1 player to kill them immediately during the night, killing a player gives you an additional permanent hidden vote at day

Motivation: I think it's an unique idea to have a role tree that replaces both the solo killer and the solo voter. Because this role replaces 2 other roles, there is place for one more role in the setup. If this role and this tree was added, many interesting and new setups can be created.

Role name: Adventurer

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: Passive ability: At the start of the game 2 random villagers and 1 random non-villager will have one of the three gems hidden in their house. You can see which player has which gem in their house.

Kill (infinite uses): Each night you can choose a player to kill.

Search (infinite uses): At night, instead of killing, you can search a dead player's house who has a gem hidden in their house to obtain that gem.

Gems: There are 3 gems in the game; blue protection gem, red violence gem and green stealth gem. Gems can be activated at day time(they will be activated immediately) and only 1 gem can be active at a time. Every gem will be active until you kill a player, after that they will be automatically deactivated. Every gem have a cool down of a full day, until then they can't be activated again(meaning after going off, quickest they can be activated again is the next day).

-Blue protection gem: While active, this gem will protect you from any kind of harm. It will be consumed after saving you.

-Red violence gem: while active, this gem will allow you to kill 2 player at night. It can be used infinitely.

-Green stealth gem: While active, this gem allows you to ignore any protection on your kill. It can be used infinitely.

Description: Each night you can kill a player or search a player's house to find a gem. There are three gems in the game which when activated, gives you special abilities.

Motivation: This role starts like a serial killer, but can get more powerful using the gems. I think this role is balanced, unique and fun to play.

#

Role name: Angel Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of alpha werewolf

Ability: While you are alive, you have an ability to see and communicate to the players in the dead chat.
If you die, you still will be able to communicate with other werewolves in night chat.
Also after death, you still will be able to vote at daytime for the next two days.
But if every member of werewolves team is already dead, you won't be able to vote when dead.
Notes:
Angel Wolf death vote will not be doubled by Shadow werewolf.

Description: You are a werewolf who can use dead chat when alive and use werewolves night chat when dead. After your death you still will be able to vote at daytime for two next days.

Motivation: I always wanted to see a role that still will be useful after death.
I think that this role fits very well in Alpha tree - it can help werewolves with voting after death during daytime similar to Summoner and Stubborn.
And same as Alpha you can support your teammates by communicating with them even when you are dead.

#

213

Role name: Tour Operator

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of doctor

Ability: Every night you can either organise a meeting with an other player or give player a pass to trip out of village. If you decided to organise a meeting, selected player will be protected this night. You can't organise a meeting with the same player two times in a row and each player can have only one pass per game.
You can give only maximum of 3 passes in total. Players with a pass won't be informed that they have it until you die.
After your death, players with a pass can decide to use it at night to get protection only for this night, but then they won't be able to use night abilities this night.
Notes:
If players will use instant abilities first, they won't be able to activate the pass already (for example Seer checks).
Jailer and Warden cannot activate the pass if they already jailed someone.
Dead night chat doesn't count as an ability. (Medium, Ritualist, Conjuror)
Beast Hunter and Trapper's traps will not work, but will stay the night they activate the pass.

Description: Every night you can protect a player or give them a pass secretly, but you can't protect same player two times in a row. After your death, up to 3 players with a pass will be able to select a night to protect themselves, but they won't be able to use abilities this night.

Motivation: This role will add something unique for both players that play this role and for players that are in game with that role.
Players with passes might have an interesting experience of predicting when they will be attacked, but if they won't guess it right - they will just waste their night ability use.
And players that play this role won't be so upset after getting killed, because they still can be useful for their team.

#

Role name: Viking Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of shadow wolf

Ability: After the 3rd night you can reveal yourself to the village, then kill one villager and skip the current phase.
You can also choose to wait till night 6 and kill 2 ppl.
Can be used during discussion phase and voting phase.

Description: A werewolf that can get an extra kill for the werewolfs by surviving

Motivation: we wanted to create a Wolf who has to survive to gain one extra kill

#

215

Role name: Musketeer

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of vigilante

Ability: Once during day you can choose a player to shoot them with your silver bullet.
This player will die if they are a non-villager and your bullet will be consumed.
But if selected player is a villager - they won't die and your bullet won't be consumed, but you won't be able to shoot next day.
Notes:
If Musketeer is coupled/instigated/sected then he can choose to shoot a player no matter what their team are or remain with his original ability.
Cupid with couple alive, unturned werewolf fan and unturned cursed will also count as non-villagers.

Description: At day you can shoot a player once. If they are a non-villager - they will die and your ability will be consumed, but if they are a villager - they won't die and your ability won't be consumed, but you won't be able to shoot next day.

Motivation: I wanted to make a balanced Vigilante advanced role that cannot kill villagers, but with a price for that. And the price of this role is only one bullet and roleblock for one day if Musketeer tried to shoot a villager.
I think that this role should be added for players that are afraid to make decisions on Vigilante tree roles can play this role and not afraid to kill villagers accidentally.
But this role can also be good for all players. It can help to not accidentally kill villagers when there are two or more role claims or the player is just being silent.

#

Role name: Cleaner

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of witch

Ability: At night you choose a person to visit to poison or protect, at day time you will visit that person.
At the following night what you choose is what happens:
If you chose to poison them then they will die at the start of the discussion phase, if you lock the house they will be safe from attacks.
At the same night you must choose another player to visit and an ability. If the player you visited dies (by vigilante, gunner, lynch etc...) you will also die.

If you visited a werewolf you will die.
You can choose killing ability once and protecting ability twice. If you finished . (The prot will be used regardless even if not blocking an attack).

If you don't choose a visit and or an ability they will be randomly selected.

Description: Visit a person to kill or protect

Motivation: We think that creating this role adds more versatility for witch

#

217

Role name: Seamstress

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of mayor

Ability: At night you select 3 players. In the following night you can select 1 of those players to have an extra vote for the day, be muted or have protection for 1 day (from wolfs and rks) at the following night she chooses another player to have an ability (it cannot be an already given ability: if you chose protection night 2 then you cant use it again in n3) and the next night u choose the last player to have the last ability. You can change the players whenever you want but can only give them new abilities after 1 night cool down. After you give 3 abilities you feel tired and you are muted for the next full day.

No matter what abilities you use after 3 of them you will be muted for the next day- if you used protection n2 then switched players at n3 and gave prot n4 and in n5 u gave mute you will be muted in day 5

Description: Choose three players to either protect, silence, or give an extra vote. They can only be selected for 3 days with different abilities. You will sleep after they have experienced 3 abilities

Motivation: we wanted to create a mayor advanced that is versatile and that is powerful but gave it weaknesses to compensate for its strength making it (hopefully) a balanced role.

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of cupid

Ability: At the first night you will choose 3 players to become the cupstigated all 3 people win if you win. And die if you were killed by any means (including wws)

If the people cupstigated die you will turn anti village and win if village loses.

You and your cupstigated mates may choose a player to protect one of them at night.

You do not have a private chat together.

They will convert from any team

This role choses 3 players at d1 making them his team.

Description: Cupstigate 3 people. You will no longer win with village if your recruits die. Fellow recruits can protect a player regardless of what role they are and their votes to protect will count as one

Motivation: this role is great because it adds nore versatility to cupid advanced which lack advanced having only instigator, and because it isn't too strong also not too weak

Role name: Soul collector

Team: solo killer/converter

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of serial killer

Ability: Kill (infinite): Each night you can choose 1 player to kill.

Passive ability: If you didn't or couldn't kill at night, then you get +1 use for your "collect souls" ability.

Collect souls: You start the game with 0 uses for this ability but you can gain more uses by your passive ability. At day you may use this ability to collect other players' souls, every soul you collect consumes 1 use of this ability. Players without their soul count dead, meaning they don't count towards any win condition. Players will be notified when their souls are stolen. If you are killed, all players' souls will be released.

Soulless players can still win with their team; they also can use their abilities, vote and chat with other players.

You win if you are the only player alive who still have a soul.

Description: Each night you can kill a player, if you didn't kill at night you get 1 use for your "collect souls" ability. At day, you may collect other players' souls with your "collect souls" ability which will leave them soulless, soulless players count dead but are actually aren't.

Motivation: This new mechanic allows a solo killer to win while other players are still alive. Soulless players don't count towards any win condition allowing the soul collector to win without needing to kill them. I think this role is unique and fun to play.

Description: You watch if people die at night if they do 3 times, you win
If they dont die 3 times you turn into a villager

Motivation: this role is great because it's a skilled voting role while also changing their team potentially making it alot of fun

Role name: Spirit

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: base role

Ability: Twice per game after the first day and night passed you can decide to make yourself dead secretly to then be self-revived again the next phase. While you are "dead" you cannot be killed by any means, after someone will try to attack you - your remaining ability will be consumed. The effect of the ability will activate instantly and depending on which time phase you used ability you will get revived later on.
Notes: If you get attacked you die even if you have your ability not used, this extra is for clarification, you also survive lynches while "dead" giving a notification to the entire village that says that the player with this role couldn't be lynched; if wws or rks tries to attack this role while ability is used they will get a notification saying that the target couldn't be killed, like if it was protected; if any villager tries to kill this role they will get a global notification saying that the spirit got attacked but couldn't be killed

Description: This role can attempt to bait attacks from evils twice and successfully do it once (like red lady / ghost lady as example), making the village gain 1 night of peace and plus it can gather infos from dead people, all without being a self confirmable role (if only village is not ready to spend a lynch for it), which is good for RRV.

Motivation: This role can bait attacks on self while they make yourself dead but still shown alive by ability and at same time you can get infos from dead chat meaning that it can give new strategies of baiting by tanking attacks and in the while getting possible infos too in a way that not any other regular villagers can do making it a new unique role.

Role name: Manipulator

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Every night you can select a target if you don't have it already. If your target will be killed by any means, you will get +1 manipulation.
At any time of the day you can use all your collected manipulations and give it to your target at the voting phase.
Using manipulation will add hidden votes to the target equal to amount of manipulations. Your manipulations won't be consumed after use.
Hidden votes will be invisible to other players.
You will win if the target with hidden votes was lynched and it was a villager.
However, you won't win even if target-villager was lynched without any manipulations used.
If all villagers are dead - you will also win if you lynch a non-villager with your hidden votes.
Notes: Even if Manipulator's target was killed at the same night he selected it, he will still get +1 manipulation.
Manipulator cannot be Grave Robber's target.

Description: Every night you can select a target if you don't have it, if this target dies by any means you will be able to use +1 hidden vote. You will win if target-villager was lynched with your hidden votes used against it, you will not win if target-villager was lynched without hidden votes used.

Motivation: I think that a voting role with hidden votes mechanic is an interesting concept. Also this role will not become villager like Headhunter and will always pressure village same as Anarchist or Fool, we need Solo Votings like that.
This role requires good thinking of who will evils kill at night or village lynch at day and can be powerful in right hands, that is why it's a good advanced role.

Role name: Lawyer

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of red lady

Ability: each night you can choose a player to protect if the player is attacked you die instead, if you are attacked while protecting u will not die but the player you chose to protect will die instead.

If the player he protected dies because the lawyer was attacked the lawyer gets an ability that makes it so the lawyer will die instead of the player visited if lawyer is attacked- he will die. 1 use ability if you did nott succeed you can try again.
cant get more than once per game.
You will be notified if a player you visited died because of you.

The one time ability will be used to prevent wolves killing their targets through you for instance; you are number 1 you visit number 2 wolves randomly attacked you, and 2 ended up dying. You know wolves know you are the lawyer so you use the ability and waste their kill and not letting them kill an important role through you.

It has the same interactions as red lady with bypass-prot killers like arso, Siren, alche etc

Description: Visit a player. You die if it was attacked. If you were attacked while visiting, the player you supposed to protect dies. With this, you gain an ability that will instead kill you the next time you visit someone while being attacked

Motivation: I think this role is great because it's very versatile and fun to use while also being balanced, also being red lady advanced mean it will give more choices for the player base between ghost lady, red lady and lawyer.

Type: advanced role of junior werewolf

Ability: -Tag: You have a tag you can change at any point. If a player with a tag interacts negatively with a non-villager (killing or revealing), they will become Hexed. Roles like the sheriff or mortician negatively interact when they receive info, not when watching/analyzing a non-villager. You are notified that a player has been hexed but the player is not. Once you have hexed one player, you can tag and hex a second player. -Hex: When Hex is activated, the next time a player interacts negatively with a non-villager, they will die. If the hexed player is a solo killer, they will instead be concussed until the next night and lose their invulnerability to werewolf attacks. -Death Spell: If you die and have an unhexed tag, they will become hexed and notified. Any already hexed players will die with you.

Description: You can tag someone to inflict hex on if they interact with a non-villager. If a hexed player interacts with a non-villager again, they will now die or be concussed if they are a solo killer. When you die, you either apply hex to your tag or kill them with you if they were already hexed. After hexing someone once, you may hex one more player.

Motivation: This role presents a unique tool to the werewolves and a unique obstacle to the village. The werewolf hexer has the chance to take down two players if they play their cards right, and if not, can disable certain roles instead. Hexed players have a choice to either continue finding value but risk death or remain disabled and stay alive. A very interactive role for both the werewolves and the opposition.

Role name: Secret Agent

Team: solo voting role

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Every day, the Secret Agent is given a target which they need to protect (prevent them from being lynched or killed) or kill (make sure they are lynched or killed.) for the night and the following day, and they will know the roles of their targets. The targets could be any non-self revealing roles, including villagers, werewolves, and solos. The Secret Agent can only receive two killing tasks maximum throughout the whole game. If they fail to protect/kill their target twice in a row, they die.

Description: Every day, you are given a random target whom you need to either protect or kill, and you will learn their role. If you fail to do so twice in a row, you will die, and your goal is to stay alive until the end of the game.

Motivation: We thought that the headhunter could easily be dismissed in the game due to the uncertainties like them not knowing their target’s role. Aggressive claims that their target is evil will immediately be considered a headhunter. Therefore, we decided to equip the Secret Agent with the ability to know their targets’ roles, as well as have a task to protect players as well. We wanted the Secret Agent to have a good aura so that they won’t be perceived as who they are so quickly from information roles.

Motivation: We wanted to create a role which can perfectly disguise as another player, similar to the sorcerer. However, this role could choose who to disguise, which means they might disguise the wrong person.

Role name: Lunatic

Team: village

Aura: unknown

Type: other type

Ability: [Passive] If a player is Lunatic, the game will treat them as if they were a random protector that could be in the game (specified in Notes), even in the advanced/base role selection. Even though shown as a protector, if Lunatic protects someone, it will not work. Every start of day, if last night Lunatic "protected" someone who got killed, Lunatic will learn they are actually the Lunatic and gain access to their ability. [Active, 1 time per game, daytime] Lunatic can select a player at day. At the end of that day, that player will be killed alongside whoever else got lynched too (or if no one got lynched, too). Notes: -Though independent, this role could become part of the Random Regular Villager list. -All possible protectors are: Doctor, Beast Hunter and Bodyguard, as well as all of their advanced versions. -If Lunatic is lynched, their killing ability won't fail. -If Lunatic believes they are a Nightwatchman, they will receive accurate information, but their own protections will fail. -Other Nightwatchmen will not get information of who Lunatic selects at night to "protect".

Description: You believe you are a random protector, but you're not. If your "protected" target dies, you will learn your role and be able to kill someone at the end of the day.

Motivation: A role that opens up possibilities of fake claiming, a new layer of complexity when solving the game as village while being a simple mechanic and prevents role calling as village won't always know if a fake doctor is necessarily non-villager. Plus it's a fun plot twist every time you're the Lunatic!!

Role name: Conspiracy Theorist

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: advanced role of headhunter

Ability: Every night, after the first one, you can predict which person will be lynched the next voting phase. Your goal is to succesfully predict twice, who will be lynched the next day. Extras: -Judge kills will count towards the win condition of Conspiracy Theorist

Description: Every night, after the first one, you can predict which person will be lynched the next voting phase. Your goal is to succesfully predict twice, who will be lynched the next day.

Motivation: This role has to read the game very well, however the village can still counter it by killing abilities or lynching unpredictably. I feel like it could be a very fun role, since there is a lot of attention and game sense required and thus, wins will feel very rewarding. It can also benefit from pushing people, which death has been predicted in the night.

Role name: Agitator

Team: solo voting role

Aura: unknown

Type: base role

Ability: You win if one innocent villager is lynched, and you die by any other means than lynching afterwards. Villagers that don't count towards the win condition: Cursed, grave robber (unturned), coupled, sected or recruited villagers. Any other means than lynching means : killing abilities, werewolf kill, solo killer kill etc. just not lynching and fleeing

Description: You win if one innocent villager is lynched, and you die by any other means than lynching afterwards.

Motivation: The role is not too hard to play, but could also be a lot of fun and feel rewarding. It's not too hard to play so also newer players could have succes with it. It also hinders the village from lynching randomly but if they accidentally lynch a villager, they still haven't lost yet, since they could still lynch the Agitator.

Role name: Poet

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of mayor

Ability: Poems (unlimited)
After the first night, at night, you can give a player one poem. Then that player can either use it or save it for next days. Once players use poems, they will be given an extra votes for the rest of the day.

Extra:
• If players receive your poems already, you cannot give them another poem until they use them.
• If a single player receive poems from two or more poets. They just receive more than one notifications that got poems, but will have only one poem.
• If you choose one player to given your poem and then die, that player can still get your poem.
• Once someone uses poem, there's an announcement about their use of it.

Description: At night, you can give one player a poem. Then that player can either use it to given an extra vote for the rest of the day or save it for next days.

Motivation: This role is a combination of the mechanics for adding up abilities of cannibal and giving an extra vote of baker. It is very simple but can bring us new strategies, meta and on top of that, enormous twists and funny moments. For example, you give a priest who used their holy water a poem at the beginning of the game, then they save it until the time they 1vs1 with the solo killer, and boom,... they use your poem and the villager team wins the game or when two or more players use poems at the same time. Nevertheless, it is not so overpower since players may die before they have the opportunity to use them or you give an evil a poem accidentally. Totally, although this role sounds simple and quite not creative, it is still a balance, strategic, good and funny role that can bring players funny games.

Role name: Magic Salesman

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: advanced role of detective

Ability: The magic salesman can choose two players to pair up during the day, and they will know they have been paired up and will now be loyal to each other. This means they cannot vote each other. The next night, the paired players will know each other’s teams, either Village, Werewolf or Solo. If either dies, you will instead know the team of the other alive player. Once per game during the night, instead of pairing two people the next day, you may choose a pair you have chosen previously and reveal the role of every player who is paired up with a player in this pair to yourself. If a player is revealed by you and they are paired to a player unrevealed by you yet, their role will be revealed as well by you. The revelation of a dead player is possible.

Description: You can link two players during the day with magic, and the next night they will know each others teams. Once per game you may reveal the roles of a player who has been linked and all players linked to players revealed by you.

Motivation: The role passively acts as a detective by using the seeing of teams as a way of finding equality of teams. It can also be used to find the roles of people you paired all at once as well.

Role name: Illusion Wolf

Team: werewolves

Aura: evil

Type: advanced role of nightmare werewolf

Ability: :Once per game, during the night, select two players: Player A will be inside an illusion and can only see Player B's real and fake messages, which you can create during the next day. Everyone else won't see Player A's messages except Player B, and Player A won't know the votes during the voting Illusion Effect will be gone next night

Description: :Once per game, during the night, select two players: Player A will be inside an illusion and can only see Player B's real and fake messages, which you can create during the next day. Everyone else won't see Player A's messages except Player B, and Player A won't know the votes during the voting Illusion Effect will be gone next night

Motivation: The Illusionist Wolf role introduces a new layer of strategy by creating a false narrative between Player A and Player B. By restricting Player A to seeing only fake messages from Player B, the Illusionist Wolf disrupt info and mistrust directly between key players. This disruption can lead to misinformed decisions and fractured alliances, providing a strategic edge for the evil team and enhancing the game's complexity by challenging players to navigate misleading information.

Motivation: We thought adding a mechanic for a doc advanced role to stack ability like cannibals skulls would be a good idea amd created this role. Shepherdess needs to plan whenever its needed to use protection and whenever not and use protections wisely. Motivation: Our team members all agreed that playing sheriff is gambling on who's gonna die and mostly not loved role because its hard to gain info. Role name: Apothecary

Team: village

Aura: good

Type: base role of random strong villager

Ability: Cleanse and guard (unlimited). Choose a player. Apothecary will protect them and transfer the chosen player's status effect on the current phase that had been/would be applied onto them to themselves. Apothecary are immune to the first status that was applied to them. Extra: - Status effect includes all mutes, vote manipulation, role hiding effect, role block and lingering effect (like poison from toxic wolf). This include corruptor's corruption (lethal status effect). - Status effect does not include role specific triggered ability (obvious example falls under tg bleed, conversion and binding similar to split wolf/ghost lady). - Apothecary may apply the ability irrespective of day/night, but they can only choose 1 player a day. The cycle only starts when day 1 happens (Apothecary can't use their ability on night 1).

Description: Every day cycle, choose a player. You will protect them and transfer their status effect toward yourself. You are immune to the first status you receive.

Motivation: This was actually an idea that was introduced very early on. However, the notion for its rejection was simple, there hasn't been much status applying role in the game. However, now that the number of it has increased significantly, this could be a reasonable time to introduce a status cleanse role, abide it just transfer the status toward yourself while also being a protecting role like doc. This would also be looking at the potential for a RSV protector which hasn't been in the game as of now (jailer is not considered one), and considering a new setup with this role without doc and instead replacing the standard doc spot with more aggressive role
