No. This creature has been culturally appropriated to heck and back. The media portrayal of it Is offensive to native americans. It is not a scary deer creature, it's a creature misapropriated for years and used as a pop-culture thing

There is no singular Native American culture. There were numerous different groups that lived throughout the continent, and they had a wide range of differing interpretations between them.
And you could argue offense toward a lot fantastical creatures, and real ones, too. Like, should we remove cows because they are venerated by certain cultures?
