I second this, it also feels like a punch in the face to let people post AI images on a server full of artists, fully knowing that stuff is harmful

I appreciate that they've made it clear AI art is not allowed in the art channels, but I don't want AI art as a whole.
At the least, if Pixile allows the sharing of AI generated content, have an AI channel - [as suggested here](#📸sar-media message) - so we have the choice if we want to see any of it.

I do agree that AI generated content should be banned from this server
If AI is allowed in #📸sar-media what is stopping people/bots from eventually flooding the channel with AI images instead of gameplay screenshots or other human created content?
AI is already extremely present in every other corner of the internet I always hated having it leak into this community that has always thrived on human interaction and creation
It was already bad enough when AI images managed to sneak into art contests (it is understandable when something like this seeps through the cracks there is a ton of submissions to look at for the judges)
But a clear ban on AI with some form of punishment like having image permissions revoked in this server would help (dosent have to be this exact punishment just an example)

I have never seen positive interactions in this server occur from AI related posts

I agree in that when I see AI images used here they seem pretty pointless, so I don't see it a loss if this were to happen (Cosmetic Ideas you can grab something off Google Images or the wiki) and SAR media I don't really see a need for it there (also even when it is there, people rarely if ever say what AI made it, even though it's a requirement to say which one made it)
I have brought this one up recently (lead-up to SAW makes stuff a bit busy atm)

Large language models are also environmentally harmful. I fully agree that they should be blocked.

On a side note, LLMs and the current crop of Hallucination Engines™ are not in fact AI, or Artificial Intelligence. As Elvara pointed out, they're Large Language Models and their derivatives. The technology is harmful environmentally, cognitively, and socially, in addition to being a copyright theft engine. As Pixile exists largely as a very distinct and clever set of intellectual property, they should already be keenly aware of the perils of this stuff.
So, what's the difference between LLMs and actual AI? Actual AI will function like the human mind, and grow like the human mind. It'll start with little and build correlations based on a variety of senses.
By comparison, LLMs are like foie gras with a dictionary.

this should be something greatly considered heavier especially considering ruben himself has stated he's against any sort of any pixile assets being put into LLMs/AI models
