It's not quite a cosmetic idea, but more like a Super Fanart Contest where players also give suggestions for what could be added to the game, so every year (maybe) there's a video with the people who made the best game designs. And they finally got into the game.
The video would then feature the player's super animal with what he proposed to be added to the game (emote, cosmetics, weapon skin or even a new super animal.

for cosmetics made by the community it should include a badge that when you hover over it it says (made by the community) and other that says (inspired by the community)
that way people know their feedback and ideas are being added, the creator sees it and thinks "hey they listened to me" and are satisfied with themselves, but at the same time it doesn't have a name attached to it since more than one person might have suggested the same request and could fight over the title, also some players might not like the addition and want to go after the one who created it and we don't want that to happen
