Use power stance always. It’s better for bossing and mobbing.

But I think just craft decent sharp eye and hyperbody. That will be enough. I stick with my view on borderline (I usually only upgrade armor if I’m dying) ab, shorter animation aoe skills the way to go. The shorter animation part is more the delay until you do dmg. For example if the skill has a long animation but delay to do dmg is short I still consider it a short animation skill. Especially if you are able to 1hko.

If rain of swords is long, take it out of your rotation.

I don’t usually go with combo skills (skills that chain together)

I might be controversial on this, but I prefer normal stance with sanrenzan over quick draw. Sanrenzan is default mobbing, 8 targets over 3 of quick draw, good CD gap filler so I don't walk as often. For early 5th job it's decent.

I also focused more of my node slots on trios instead of skill nodes though, so one could argue that having all 5th job skills is better (see Don's setup above).

For trios, I'm running sanrenzan/shinsoku/falcon, hhs/shinsoku/sanrenzan, falcon/sudden strike/hhs

Correct if it does not have that long winded animation it would have been a top contender for dmg since it's cap is higher than bladeflash with hyper passive but hits 2x to 2.5x slower than bladeflash...

Yes, because in boss fight that does not end in 10s+, a large portion of our dmg is contributed by shinsoku and it gets cancelled so easily by boss atks. Requires good position to avoid knock backs, stuns or pair with bishop's shell.

Some aoe animations need to be speed up. Although they provide animation iframe but yeah i prefer sudden strike to be spammable faster than bladeflash. Since hyper passive does not favor bladeflash as of now.

i did some reading and basically damage is determined (mainly) with gear, past that survivalbility is important. which is where paladin excel in.

Actually in terms of same gear survival, I would say hayato probably beat paladin hands down if the player is very skillful with the animation iframes

Paladin has 2 iframes once those are on cd have to play safe with heals

But hayato can just dash around and use skill animation iframes

Based on some testing from @glass matrix , Hayato is pretty mediocre for bossing content. Mainly because shinsoku is easily interrupted and you have to micro-manage your resources -sword energy, keeping buffs up- to maximise your damage. I've read some spreadsheets that hayato has the highest number of lines amongst the warrior classes, so that's a plus when you're hitting caps.

However, it excels in mobbing with pretty decent FMA and long range. Been hearing good things about hayato's mobbing.

One saving grace (abeit unlikely) to improve Hayato's bossing would be rework/buff shinsoku, offering superstance/status immune.

Shinsoku on PCMS was changed to a burst, if done well, that could be a good option as well. IMO burst damage is often better than DPS, unless you can stand there and consistently attack.

1. V2(Phantom Blade) until max buff stack of five before entering.
2. Four seconds before fight, do presets Yellow + Blue.
3. V1(Zankou) and immediately one-tap Green Preset for V4(Instant Slice) to animation cancel.
4. Purple preset to stun & Shinsoku. Hold until Dankuusen(i-frame) to dodge away.
5. Yellow preset to rebuff. (repeat whenever there's a chance)
6. Green preset for main damage while waiting for cooldowns.

Definitely not the best option there is, considering it's only been tested on solo Normal Hilla thus far.

u put 1 enhance slot lvl on it u will know if the fd increases

mobbing focused shouldnt be any priority

since it kills everything by now

if u cant kill means your weapon is not good

your legion is low

need to upgrade your equips, legion, linked skills etc...

Check your skill slot, make sure its rai blade flash (4th job) your using and not blade flash(1-3 job). They have the same icon

Your preset indicates your using 3th job blade flash

Parked at AF60 haha. Surviving well, just gotta stock up on v9 hp potions.

AF90 seems difficult for us, maybe I’m doing it wrong.
Keep climbing ropes for some reason & wasting time, even tho I’ve got Rope Lift.
