For 43, shield, then stun, then 3s immunity and then dash for next 30s or so and pop shield again. Then it’s almost done.

Dash and attack of course. Not just dash to be clear.

for lotus, you can use shield in p1 to prevent bot seduce and p2/p3 for kbk prevention from lotus' push attack when shell is down

you can use shield to lower lightning damage in ark but that's about it

So from my experience, Grim has this weird issue in auto battle where it won’t attack immediately after mobs spawn. These spawned mobs can then get killed by other players in the party leading to Grim staying idle for a lot longer than necessary (sometimes not even attacking for the entire 30 second duration)

Outside of this issue, it’s probably a line count upgrade or at best improved attack animations? But it’ll most likely be just lines since I haven’t seen any skill delay changes to any other class in the last few rebalances

So we’ll probably be more burst heavy after the update as most of these changes are focused on skills with some sort of cooldown, with Grim Contract relying on our 150 hyper

Aura could maybe see up to 2 additional lines? Maybe 3 if we’re lucky?

Currently we’re sitting around 15,600 overall lines in a 3 minute run, so ideally I would like to see this get pushed to 16,000

It is by no means going to make us compete for the top spot just purely based on lines, but it should help

Right now the v2 burst mode. Is down arrow plus skill trigger. So our ab can’t trigger that instant four portal cast. What I want is for this secondary trigger mode become a toggle so that we can choose to have it work like that in ab

V2 bossing mode is a wonderful duration aoe attack.

My staff was a 5% emblem scroll, then I hit 4/5 exalts, then 1/2 inherits. So I got very lucky on it lol.

Should I just focus on boss attack emblems? Will I still get big boost from them? They’re much more prevalent on the TS and much cheaper and easier to buy.

So cd emblems are the way to go on BaMs. Having a cd/ba ratio of like 3:1 is probably ideally (I’m not actually too sure on this, but more cd is always preferred for most classes)

I believe more people now recommend saving up until you can buy a built mythic emblem (lvl 40 cd emblem lvl 1 work in progress if possible)

Buying from unique would be cheaper in the short term but it probably adds up to be about the same once it’s a mythic

unique bis CD emblem is usually around 2b, mythic non-bis shouldn't be more than 3-4b. if you're looking for bis for inherit route, it's probably easier to look for inherit items instead depending on server. if you're going necro, then the base (eligos, muspell, pensalir) doesn't matter. if you're looking for a more complete mythic item, they should go for around 8-9b for CD and like 5-7b for BA. this is in NA scania

i dont think it's necessary to be all CD if you can't afford it, but more CD the better as you get more MDC along the way with exalts and stuff if you get there

1 or 2 BA emblems isnt the end all be all since BaM isn't a clone class

I have like 33 alts all at 120-125. The I have a 202 Blaze wizard, 175 kanna, and 180 Evan.

turn the 202, 175, and 180 into CDD alts if you want to, you'll need 160sf on each of them.

but i think you would rather focus on gear first before starting on CDD alts. i think having CDD alts without the proper equipment on main doesn't serve any purpose until later in the journey when you're ready to transition into necro or even inherit

My wand I lucked out on since it was upgraded years ago and I was saving to buy a CD one but I hit a 5% scroll, got boss defense, then hit an 8% scroll and got MA. Then exalted then inherited

you're missing boss and mdmg tang, but if you're full capping you're fine. not sure if you gave ds4 on or not either, but yea you need to dodge most things in p2 and p3

I'd say save shield for when platform comes down if you don't have erda nova. when plats are on the ground, stand on it and use the shield

Necro would be better . Even ignoring fair trade, lvl40 Necro has more attack than a lvl 50 inherited.

But ofc, it would be more expensive to get it to 50 (unless Nexon will stop rippin us off and make the game rewards progress towards 40-60 exalt and not restricted to 30-40 )

With a 40 Necro you could and should be able to farm both ark and lotus. While with 50 inherited (which isn't as "free" as people picture it) you will struggle and your whole build regarding flames and pots will have to shift towards crit rate

Sooner lotus clears = more chaos stones = faster progress in the long run

Decent dps improvement - not a "rework" or game balancing to other classes. Defently won't make other change Thier mind from re-rolling or make people re-rolling into BaM s .

Take it for what it is. It is a big improvement for us dps wise. Asking for much more after the change we got is being greedy. Solo mag isn’t too bad once you learn how to avoid drain debuff. Use battle burst to move around instead of teleport for this. Also craft the 10s stun. Always good to get 10s of dps time.

I recently found out you can teleport upward and dodge both dash and spining attack. For a 300 ping player like me it's a game changer

As for clearing nmag solo dps wise if you can clear chila you got all it takes for nmag

FYI - for chaos stones you need to clear all 3 commanders without missing a day for the whole week. (Can skip mag once a week)

In general Magnus has a pattern of attack (that sometimes gets broken but the keyline is kept) like it will always spin into green image attack into dash and Lazer beams & spin sword .
Attacking area reduced every 25% HP . You learn the pattern you can just pre-dodge the attacks so even a 300 ping player like me can handle it

Has for HP he has like a silly 9b so as long as you do 2-3m lines you will be fine

I lost around 400 eos kills from latest patch. We definitely suffered in the mobbing department. We are probably the worst mobbing mage by a country mile now.

Our hyper should be an FMA would fix that issue completely. Also while at it can be a 0.5sec iframe . Rn I don't use it at all for anything.
But again. We should be greatful for getting some sort of a buff and shouldn't put a reasonable feed back that adding few lines don't fix a stale skill set that dosent offer a meaningful value to the class .

I think it’s a wash. Ie doesn’t really increase or decrease your overall dps much. But not dealing with that animation makes you more nimble. Hence I was more than happy to trade 30s more cd for a true map wipe

Yes DG nodes affect the DG extra procs. Yes don't cast DG while bossing (except in very rare situations). And no don't listen to phantomrific don't cast battle burst either when you can dodge it easily with teleport, you'll just waste DPS if you do lol.

I can’t find a 30% speed buff in regular content store. I can barely exceed 180% with speed gear on. So I’m probably not a good candidate to test this speed cap question. Since the difference is only between 180 and what speed one can achieve.

Oh I don’t try on culvert beyond 4k. I just do it once a week for the boxes on my three farmers. And once a season on about 25 chars for the season rewards (target is just 1300)

EOS: after further testing, we lost about 200-250 kills per hr in eos after the most recent patch. I’m now around 9.1k or so an hour. Resistance infantry is a must on your wheel if you want a good score.

Like 545Z said, average mdc for all players attempting Damien should be around 23-25m (closer to 25m) if possible

The only way we’d have a chance is if there are a few whales in the run that can help offset some of that missing mdc

Our support skills probably have little to no use in Damien, and it’s probably overlooked to begin with lol

What’s good is that you can place v2/infantry/v3 on Damien when he’s cornered, so you’re still doing some dps as you step away for altars

Because we’re a mage we have access to v3 common skill which helps to tank the pebbles and possibly even orbs

I’m pretty sure we can tank those at least, haven’t practiced enough

shield sounds crazy good, 10k hp reduction from original 30k tick is super helpful

in one of my normal damien teams we only have two people above 34m cap (pally/db), the rest are around 20-25m. team can get away with less if they know the mechanics properly

as for hard, the requirements are much stricter since you need more HP, 210k+ is ideal
