Does the ratio between CD/BA matter for shadowers? I see so many BA eqs in the TS but none for CD and I've been looking for a few weeks now :/

good to have a ratio from what I've heard, most people go 4CD:4BA, or 6CD:2BA, diminishing returns on CD on anything past 450%, so you can start building your equips and lean more towards BA if you feel your CD is getting too high

I'm going 4:4 and I think it'll be optimal as my CD is already pretty high and my emblems are mostly lvl 3

save them and level them too, once it hits lvl25, you extract them, without those node shards you obtain from extracting, you craft those v skils you need to level them

E.g. I usually start to buff, set out dark flare + smokescreen when 2 seconds till boss arrive then v4 > assassinate (2-3 times) > v1 > dark sight + v3 > assassinate more (keeping v1 and 2 to use as needed (dodge etc)

Then just assassinate until v4 and v3 off cooldown again. Any other tips to better optimise this will be greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

You should preset darkness with Blink. Jawn does it, and I learned from the best. You should always have Blink in your bossing wheel.

You can remove preset 2 if you just move the Will skill to preset 1

Everyone has been extremely helpful but at the same time if someone is starting shadower from scratch half of the stuff u probably wouldnt follow or be able to use

Example at ur matrix early game should definitely get crit 15 sec on 50 hit node so that u can do solo bosses early like hmag and cra

If u are like deep 235+ and above u should alr know what u are doing and whatever you are doing is just min maxing at that point

When u just get into v max skills u only have 5-7 slots so they( the newer guys like me 2 weeks back) probably want to know what to prioritise instead of just staring down at a completed vmax page

I do get what you mean, it's just that a lot of these questions have already been answered multiple times so people just get annoyed having to repeat the same things over and over while it's usually just a quick search in the pinned messages (updated v matrix, order to upgrade v skills, etc. are all pinned).

I would agree with @turbid veldt as a newcomer. I do have more knowledge due to playing GMS but there were some nuances that this game has that threw me off and me having zero shad knowledge on gms adds to it

Guide for Early, Mid, End Game, assuming everyone has hit level 200, THIS IS NOT A GUIDE FOR GEARS.
Also, this is my opinion. If you read or see something different and believe that is correct, then go for it. This is also from a bossing perspective not ABing. Also want to mention that i only run Two Trinodes for bossing which is (Meso Explosion, Shadow Veil, and Assassinate)

For reference
V1 = Shadow Assault (good mobility skill for bosses like gloom, and good lines)
V2 = Trick Blade (will save you a lot with the mini iframe it provides and very good lines)
V3 = Sonic Blow (your highest damage output skill at the time of writing this)
V4 = Slash Shadow Formation (2nd highest damage output skill at the time of writing this)

Early Game - After you hit 200, with the Vmatrix slots. If you do not open the other 4 slots and utilizing the 5 slots that are given, id say the V3 -> V4 -> Tri Node 1 (Shadow Veil, Assassinate, Increased Meso Explosion), Tri node 2 (Shadow Veil, Assassinate, Increased Meso Explosion), and lastly Hyper Body. Now if you open the extra 4 slots with your hard earned mesos than repeat what i posted earlier and with the addition to V2, V3, Last Resort, Shadow Walker. With bosses that you need to fly up (damien) and with DS4. Id replace Last Resort and Shadow Walker if you need the slots for Blink and DS4. These sets of skills and buffs will help you do a lot more damage and should carry you thru most solo content / multi content (gears willing)

Mid Game - Assuming you have hit a couple more levels and have unlocked more slots. Id prioritize Maple Word Goddess Blessings -> Decent Combat Order -> Decent Speed Infusion -> Decent Sharp Eyes/ Decent Advance Blessings in this order for the remainder of Decent Buff Skills. For bossing to replace blink and DS4, Personally id go with replacing Sharp Eyes + Decent Advance Blessings. Reason why i say this is because most of the buffs it gives can be replaced by buffs from Tangs/Buff pots.

End Game/Late End game - Assuming you have all slots open at this point. Do everything mentioned above + Will Skill + Venom Burst. I personally have slots left over so Blink + DS4 only replaces skills i use for my AB such as holy symbol and rope lift and should know your skill rotation.

So for example, 1 line + 70% clone = 0.85 of real line

A skill that’s cloned that does 1000 line total, is only doing 0.85 or 850 of real line.
