Reloading and putting your weapon away before the animation would normally insert a new mag will cause your weapons to be fully loaded but visually have no magazine when held.
-
The PIP-1300K will visually never get it's magazine once dropped while held unless you die or unequip and reequip via the inventory, reloading will still drop a new mag from thin air
-
The UMP-45 description refers to itself as a "assault rifle" and says it uses 5.56x45, fairly certain the UMP isn't a AR but instead a SMG, and the 45 means ".45 ACP"
-
The Silver Compact .45 ejects massive casings compared to the UMP, with the UMP looking more closely to .45 ACP casings compared to the Silver Compact, which ejects casing looking like rifle rounds (and are bigger than actual 5.56 casings from the M16)

***** With the Santa SOS-326 (unknown if this applies to other shotguns) while reloading, if you press LMB it will cancel the reload as intended, but will play the animation of loading another shell after you click, without loading a actual shell into the weapon (this is the one issue that could actually impact gameplay)
-
All weapons upon first reload will do a 'empty mag' reload even if the mag wasn't empty, generally needing a extra second for the charging handle / slide etc etc to be pushed as if the weapon did not have a round in the chamber when the person dropped (appears to not apply to bolt action rifles or shotguns) could also have a small effect on gameplay
-
Possible that the M16 is dropping smaller casings than it should be, compared to other 5.56 weapons, the M16 has fairly smaller casings.

The M249 keeps the belt inside of it when the box mag is dropped, wouldn't make sense for a standard reload
