Much more visual injury/blood effects when shot or downed. Different visual effects for different weapon classes. Instead of the current tiny particles, a more visible blood effect.
Examples
-Normal bloodstains/splatters from being shot with conventional firearms that use standard bullets
-Smoke visual effects when shot with DEW-tier weapons due to them using heat, due to them melting the wound and burning any clothing or armor.
-Blood trails and heavy bleeding when a player is knocked down, leaving temporary bloodstains on the ground every few seconds while they’re knocked down.
-Visual injuries after being hurt, such as blood decals temporarily attached to your character.
-Blood effects spreading to surrounding walls when shot.
-Settings to control the visibility of these effects
Pros
More realistic game. More impact to combat. Better cinematic experience, especially with large room clearing scenarios that occur very often ingame. Would look cooler than current blood effect, which looks like that of the effect that plays when you punch some dirt in Minecraft.
Cons
Possibly cause lag. Could argue that it’s unnecessary and adds nothing to gameplay. Possibly hard to do (even with the massive budget of this game’s negligent owner).
