#Opinions on Mercs. Good, Bad, or Mid?

I don't mind mercs but they can be assholes at times. They often RK, SK, and are just annoyances in the wasteland. Like this happened earlier today, I was gathering batteries Fedorite ore to try and get the titanium armor, then I see a merc hiding behind the corner of the entrance. Another waste lander comes in and takes the ore, so I killed him. Then that dumb red idiot guns me down as I was trying to pick it up then steals my shit, so I went back and 1sed his ass and al the stuff was gone. SO yeah I really don't see the purpose of mercs they're either bullies or weak losers that will shoot you when your back is turned.

Another thing that happened was when I walked back into spawn and some Merc named Phu just rushed in and killed me in the spawn, don't remember of killing someone that enters spawn is allowed but I knw you can't kill anyone from spawn.

Also are Mercs allowed to KoS someone?

it was also neat that over time you could prove you were a merc, so aegis would stop (mostly) stop shooting at you all the time

and the concept of slowly building up trust with aegis divisionals and some non divisionals was a good thing, it helped flesh out who was a merc or not

a while ago you could go on tls and shoot any raider and youd be fine

do it multiple times and youd be up there with sthd or mdf

a REALLY old merc group got a vtol one time, thats what made being a merc interesting

and the damn merc tag was like, the rarest tag you could get
