🎉 GW2 Executable Runner

A Linux-Compatible addon that lets you launch and manage executables from inside Guild Wars 2. On Linux, it runs them in the same Wine prefix and with the same Wine binary as GW2, making it perfect for Steam Deck/Bazzite gaming mode.

Motivation :
I wanted a simple way to launch and manage various tools while playing GW2 on my Steam Deck. Existing solutions didn't quite fit my needs, so I built this addon.

What's inside:

  • Run and initialize executables inside the GW2 environment
  • Simple UI to select and manage executables
  • Linux: uses the game’s Wine prefix/binary for launched EXEs (launches as subprocesses of Gw2)

Install:

  1. Download the DLL from Releases:
    <link-to-GitHub-Releases>
  2. Drop it in your GW2 addons folder.
  3. Launch GW2 and enable the addon in Nexus settings.
  4. Click the addon icon in Nexus to open the loader UI.

Note:
I realise this might look very similar to Tulio's addon, but it's purely a coincidence. I started developing this a while ago and only saw he released a similar addon yesterday.

Alternatively, the addon should also soon be directly available in the Nexus library !

hey where can I find Blishud.exe? Bit confused when it pulls up a windows filesystem

go to my computer and you should have a Z: drive which mounts your linux filesystem

Hi, trying this now - I placed in BlishHud on my compatdata folder / prefix - it seems to load but doesn't seem to hold up. It's stops on it's own.
