is it maybe a permission issue with the folder?

would explain why multiple addons can't save

I made sure that Everyone has full access to this folder, but for some reason the folders themselves keep getting set to read only. None of the dlls or other files in the addons folder is set as read only, but all of the folders seem to be set? I can't unset it either, as it goes back as soon as I close the properties window
