When I try to add friend codes to my 3ds from people I’ve been friends with previously doesn’t work for me apparently. On their end, they see my Mii and name upon adding me but they can‘t see my online status, and I can’t see their profiles? I’ve tried adding another person and it worked without any issues…

I might be getting some information wrong but I’ve tried asking 2 previous friends, they both reported the same thing

I’ve been told that just waiting on the friends app for a few minutes might fix the issue, but I haven’t had anything happen so far. I’ve also tried repeatedly switching from Nintendo to Pretendo to no avail
