Splatoon News not coming

it just straight up wont connect me to the news, and its gotten worse this week, miiverse etc works, i have inkay too
when i try to connect it in the lobby it just says failed to connect to the wifi

also is there a new version of aroma released?
because when i try to connect a new wifi my wii u just ends up freezing forcing me to restart the console
