To my knowledge this was because a community didn’t have a title image. Is there a reason otherwise? + can it be fixed?

There is a reason. this is specifically the NSLU communtiy. we had to make a few changes for in-game posting to work with all versions of NSMBU and NSLU. and that's why you see that icon there.. @umbral dew
