I'm trying to install the client currently but I am missing all of these files required, it should be noted that a NNID is not set up currently as I am using a region swapped device.

If i recall you download them somewhere, its pretendo files i think

The files are located in the combined folder, but not at their specified directory locations

Should I just continue with the set-up?

You can safely skip this part of the guide as it is a bit outdated.

Simply copy all the contents (at minimum, the 3ds and cias folders) of the combined zip file to the root of the SD card. Then install nimbus.cia and open it from the HOME menu. The application should automatically move the needed files into their working locations, then ask you to reboot by pressing START.

After that, reopen Nimbus and switch to Pretendo, then go to System Settings > NNID Settings to create a PNID.
