Can't type my Pretendo password on my Wii U

Hi, I just created my Pretendo account on the website, but now I'm trying to link it to my Wii U.

The issue is that when choosing my password on the website, I used an uncommon special character that doesn't seem to be present on the Wii U keyboard, thus I am unable to enter my password on my console.

Trying to change my password from the website tells me that editing PNID settings from the user dashboard is unavailable, and tells me to do that from a linked game console.
I thought about simply deleting my account and creating a new one, but couldn't find the option for that on the website.

What can I do?

Although I still think being able to set a password that you can't actually input on your console is troublesome
