I've been struggling with this error on 3ds for 4 days now, and it actually got temporarily fixed after I had to run a sysNAND backup which deleted every data on my 3ds, I had no personal games or apps from UU left. I therefore reinstalled the nimbus and to my surprise for the first time EVER, I was connected to the Pretendo servers. I was scared of doing anything at this point and didn't dare download anything, but eventually I had to turn off my console and when I turned it on again... I was offline again, just as before, and I can NEVER go back online no matter how many times I try and reboot the console and switch servers. I thought it was on my side but this time, I don't see what I did wrong beside restarting the console. People don't seem to be struggling as much to connect and I'm tired of trying to figuring it out.
Is there anything that I might have overlooked which could prevent me from connecting to the pretendo servers ? Is streetpass an obstacle maybe ? Are there any other programs that could prevent pretendo from running properly ?
At this point I'm desperate, I know the whole thing is relatively new and errors happen but I could not connect day 1 and man I was so happy when I thought it was fixed. I think I might give up on the service as a whole until maybe something happens. It is not the first time I adress this issue and nobody ever has an answer.

I wish I had an answer for this- but the issue has been occasionally reoccurring with me since day 1 of the shutdown- And as of late the severity of those errors are getting worse (they’re taking longer to resolve and almost nothing I am doing is helping anymore)
Remember how I said mine was fixed-? It came back again and now I’m stuck to phone data

This is related to friends list and spotpass to my knowlage. The friends list server could be overloaded. When is it occuring?

It was occuring every time I opened an app that would feature an online service (the Friend list, MK7, Icarus...) As of now, it seems like it's fixed but I'm afraid that when I will download my other apps (such as Netpass) it will trigger the online and remove it because of maybe a contradiction ? For instance those both propose streetpass but in a different way so maybe this could be an explanation ? I have no idea at this point but I could never connect, until today, despite rebooting the system multiple times and reseting my internet

That seems like a friends list issue. Every game on friends list requires a connection to the friends list in order to use its online functionality. Ever since NN shutdown spotpass was also told your device to stop revicing data from it except from several titles, (pokemon bank etc) I don’t have a difinitive fix for the issue, but its a connection issue and installing games shouldn’t affect it however.
